First off, I love waffle house and go to them often as I travel the country because of how much food you get for the price. I would have given them even 3 stars for that alone if not for everything being awful about this location. I do have a lot to say, but hopefully the manager looks at these and makes some changes or at least does some training. I was here 3/23/16 around 1 pm. I get the all star every time I go to a waffle house so Ill start with my food before I get in to the service. The hash browns were not quite as brown as I would have liked, but thats pretty normal and not something I would normally care about. The O/M eggs were 1 over easy and 1 over hard, which is kind of impressive now that I think about it. The waffle was undercooked. The sausage was the real problem because they were covered in black crap from the grill and tasted like charcoal. And there are floatys in my coffee, gross. The service was horrendous. When I walked in the workers are so busy talking crap on one of the other employees that they are neglecting every customer. When the server finally convinced the cook to start cooking food, it took her another 10 minutes to come say hi to me and get my order, so in total about 15 minutes just sitting at the table, with maybe 2 other tables that she had to worry about at that moment. I get my food eventually but it had to be brought over by the cook because the server was too distracted still talking crap about that one terrible employee. I had to ask 4 times for the waffle that is supposed to come with the meal, after seeing several waffles go out to customers who got here after me, I finally got it. To be somewhat fair, the employee they kept talking about, really does suck. I have been here for like an hour and have hardly seen her without her phone in her hand, she has gone out for at least 3 cigarettes and has not done any real work the entire time Ive been here. But the complaining and whining behind the counter was incessant, they were complaining about literally everything, not just that crappy employee. This place needs to fire their staff and hire on people who actually want to go to work and make money. With how cheap this place is, the 5$ minimum tip I would have given is a 50% tip. I feel dirty for even thinking about giving less than 10%, but I cant justify giving someone money for halfassing their job this badly.

Never go on Sunday between 3-4! Server bearly spoke to us. Gave me a dirty cup of coffee and then sighed when I asked for a new cup. This was our order: kids waffle and bacon, (everyone was served first and we had to ask for the starving kids food, no syrup and they forgot the bacon. Then served burnt bacon ) 3egg ham and cheese omelet with a side waffle. (Omelet served with slabs of sliced cheese were not melted and it was gooey. hasbrowns where potato chip like and burnt. Waffle served with the kids waffle 10 minutes later no syrup) bacon chicken melt. Cheese hash browns. (Served second to last 10 minutes after the omelette, no onions no cheese ) chili hash browns and a grilled cheese. ( arrived burnt) I would have left at the coffee incident but my kid was starving and I worked 6 am to 3 so I was too tired. Thought this would be better then Taco Bell. Also my step mom was visiting and I specifically recommended we come. How embarrassing. I have come here quite a bit in the last five years I lived in Thornton and I will never return. Regardless of the outcome after we complained.

Oh man where do I begin I go to this place all the time and never a problem but wow I went in yesterday and as soon as I walked in I old my self just walk out, anyways the waitress was just down right horrible raw onions instead of cooked the hash browns were runny the gravy had chunks of who knows what then a group of them went out to smoke and not one of them washed there hands when they came in now that is just the tip of the iceberg the cook was sweeping right next to where I was eating dumps all the dirt and whatever else is on the floor in the trash and says "oh sorry I didnt see you there dont worry it wont hurt you" smh ru kidding me but half the people that were there were complaining as well ill never go there again -5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In my opinion oh and the lady with the red hat and Waffle House black sleeves should learn how to cover her mouth when shes cooking...........

I went in at 2am and it was pretty busy. Chanelle took our order and she was the sweetest server we ever had. Out of the 3 girls working, she seemed to care the most about the customers experience and was definitely doing the most. She totally gave us the wrong food but we ate it and it was still good. It was rung up correctly and everything as we ordered it, so Im sure it wasnt her fault. The manager seemed to be rude to her, kept bashing her and telling her what to do as she just stood behind the counter. Like I said, she seemed like the only person who truly cared about us, and the other guests experiences. We didnt expect much when we went in, but Chanelle was definitely trying to give us the best service we could have.

We just left and it was the worst service ever. They were right in the middle of a shift change and the 2 managers were having a dispute with each other as we were sitting right next to them... Talk about being uncomfortable. My bowl of chili was barley warm that the cheese didnt even melt... :( . I asked for a to go box and a bag which I waited forever for and had to remind the person that I still needed a bag. When I was clearly annoyed and frustrated..Only one girl apologized for the inconvenience.. And she wasnt even a manager or our waitress. My advice.. Never go during a shift change and thats at 2 pm. !

Ok first off the food that was actually right was pretty good. Service is another story.. Angie was our waiter and she ran off before she couldnt even finish taking my order. End result 2 correct food items from an entire order. My wife gets hashbrowns with mushrooms, onions, and cheese. I order hashbrowns with cheese, onions and tomatoes. My wife had all my ingredients in her hashbrowns and mine only had cheese. She would have known if she had come and asked if we needed anything once. Dropped the check off as soon as the food was dropped off. Save your money eat at home.

Got to this location and werent greeted by anyone. My nephew, niece and I sat ourselves in one of the booths and were then approached by one of the waitresses. We ordered our food and got our drinks quickly. Another family, who had more people, sat behind us about 10 minutes after us.They received their food first and when we finally got our food all of our hashbrowns were cold. The burgers were missing lettuce, tomato, and the bacon and forgot our waffles until we were ready to pay. Very disappointed in the service. Most definitely will not be back.
