My husband read a lot of good reviews and decided to surprise me by bringing me here as a surprise...I have found this an amazing bed and breakfast with a 5 star rating. I am amazed at how nice the staff has been, we have our 7 year old son with us and he is so into his suite with its own tv and dvd player. We have a Jacuzi tub as well as a steam shower, and when we called the front desk for anything we were amazed at how fast our food and requests were handled...we even had a fillet mignon dinner delivered within 20 minutes!!! This was our first trip and will certainly NOT be the last. I can not say enough about the staff and how thought ful and helpful they are I can not find 1 single thing that was not perfect...we live in Parker about an hour from here and today is the last day of our trip and I wish we had planned on staying a week! Excellent!

I dont get how this place is a AAA 4 star gold diamond restaurant and all the great reviews here. Terrible service, we got here at 11:30 had to eat lunch before going on the cog rail line. There were literally 2 other couples in the dining room and 2 servers. Kitchen service was extremely slow. Took about 30 minutes to get 2 bowls of soup. Also, our server rarely checked in so we sat there waiting for awhile to get our order in. We were on a tight time schedule to get to our cog rail line in time, but figured a full hour in the dining room would be enough time to eat. By the time we got our food we had to scarf if down just to get out in time. Would never come back here again

Eating here was a very pleasant experience! The food was very good. I had the rainbow trout and it exceeded my expectations. Our waiter Herb was very kind, attentive, and sociable. The view from the dining room was beautiful and the layout of the room was comfortable. Even though we were not staying in a room, the staff still treated us as if we were. My only reason for not giving full stars is the chairs were quite old and beat up, the base board was scuffed pretty hard, and the carpet seemed old.

Excellent dining experience. The location is stunning with a view of Pikes Peak in the distance. The food is pricey, but expected for a restaurant of this nature. Its worth the experience.

A cozy and pleasant stay. Went last year and enjoyed the small town feel. The restaurant/bar at the end of the building had excellent food and a good staff. We plan on returning.

The lamb chops were great, and the bannana cream pie was light and a perfect end to the meal. We also enjoyed coffee on the veranda to finish the evening.

As a rule I generally avoid hotel dining rooms but we tried it the first night of our stay. It was outstanding and we eat there all 5nights

I have been to Cliff House twice. Both times the food and service was excellent, and sitting outside was a joy!
