It seemed like everyone was having rough day at The Egg and I this morning. First, our wait was only supposed to be five minutes, and it turned out to be 20. Not the worst possible thing to happen, but then once we were finally seated, we were asked to be reseated because of a seating issue. Again, not the worst possible thing to happen, everyone makes mistakes. But then, our food came and we were immediately disappointed.. I made my own omelette with 5 different ingredients (sausage, cheese, tomatoes, peppers, and onions). Not too hard right? A lady came and said they were out of peppers, and offered a substitute, but I didnt want anything else. That was fine, but when I took a bite of my omelette, it had no tomatoes, and barely any other ingredients inside. The sausage was just cut up patties thrown in, and the whole thing just looked so unappetizing. My girlfriend ordered the Wisconsin scramble, and it was undercooked, and nothing was scrambled together at all! Highly disappointed. As we picked through inedible food, we overheard two other tables around us complain about the service and their food. The service at our table was subpar as well, the waitress never checked on us, and when my girlfriend ordered a soda refill, it came when we were finished picking at our food. We got the check, and they charged us for the ingredients missing in my omelette. The lady at the checkout took my omelette off of the bill, which helped, but I was still very disappointed. Ive never been here, and Ive always heard such great things, but apparently I came on an off day where there was NOTHING good to rave about.

I went in to have a breakfast with my boyfriend and accidentally dropped my juice, the waiter said they could only give me 1/3 of a glass. Absolutely disrespectful and there was no silverware in the table so we had to chase down a waiter. At the end with a coupon we spent 30 dollars. Will never be going back

Excellent food!!!! Stellar. My only problem is the staff. Everyone from the bussers, wait staff, seems very unhappy to be there. The "manager" was very short with us and not polite at all. Not a single smile in the building. I can get good eggs anywhere. Ill just go to Macs Place next time.

We received our food within 10-15 minutes of arrival. We were seated by a smiling hostess and immediately helped by our waitress, Nicole. The store was quiet and relaxing, and the food was delicious. Everyone there seemed very happy and we will be returning often. Thanks, Nicole! (:

Lots of delicious healthy options. I had the Hikers Benedict which included asparagus, chunky mushrooms and tomatoes. Asked for a side of fruit with it. My son had French Toast with sauasage. The Kale Cooler was awesome, I may go back just for it. Good service, decent prices.

For brunch today, I had the Mexican Omelette (with Pork Green Chile). It was absolutely delicious; I cant wait to have it again! At $16 for one person (including tip), it wasnt exactly a cheap meal, so next time I think Ill just have water.

Only had takeout twice, both times food was surprisingly good. Best breakfast joint in Longmont that I have found. Biscuits & Gravy with turkey sausage is my choice. Greek Frittata is excellent as well. Highly recommended!

The Egg & I is a great restaurant and Ive been a fan for several years. First visited the location in Colorado Springs and was happy to find this one in Longmont. Always friendly staff, good food, comfortable atmosphere.

The coffee was great, food was spectacular, and reasonably priced. I had a hard time deciding what to get, so Jeffrey, our server, made some suggestions, and we had a breakfast that left nothing to be desired.
