Well here I am more than a year or 2 later, still ordering "Hunan Tofu w/no zucchini & add cashews" about twice weekly (it is excellent if you like savory and a little spicy ... uhm, uhm, uhm) & Tasty Asia REMAINS THE BEST Chinese in Longmont! It has been excellent every time! The service is also exceptional; friendly and warm, so I keep coming back ... Consistency, something hard to come by in any restaurant. I dont know how this "post editing" is going to go, so to be clear the following words are from my previous post a couple years ago: I have always thought they were the best Chinese in Longmont. I am finally writing this review to say that the last 2 times I have been there the food has been remarkably BETTER. I havent asked but I am suspecting they have a new chef &/or new mgmt. The food has been great: Hunan Tofu (fried tofu) with cashews added is what I order ... Well here I am more than a year or 2 later ordering Hunan Tofu w/no zucchini & add cashews & Tasty Asia has stayed

I am so unbelievably furious with this place! I spend a lot of money here because its good food but the last 2 times I have ordered my order has been messed up!!!!! I called to complain and she apologized cause it was her fault something didnt make it into our bag when I picked it up and all she offered was 15% off? Are you kidding me?!!! We live in boulder and I specifically went to Longmont for this food because my husband likes it so much and their hot oil was so great!!!! Both times they forgot - last time I actually drove back to the restaurant to get it but really every time?! They said they doubled checked! I understand your busy and theres a ton of kids running around there like a day care center! But really?!? I had class tonight and wasnt going to drive back to Longmont because you forgot something that was clearly marked on my order! This place used to be great and we used to swear by it but seriously had gone down hill and I dont know why!!!! Really not okay!!!!

I will never order from here again. We have been ordering delivery for 2 years now, since we have lived in Longmont and have had no issues. Last night I called from my home line and they said they couldnt hear me and hung up. I tried calling my cell phone with the home phone and heard just find. So I called back on my home line and they said again they couldnt hear me and hung up. I called them from my cell phone next, they heard me just fine and asked the phone number for the delivery, as soon as I said my home line number she said, "I cant hear you...I cant hear you." I said, "are you screwing with me?" We had a few words back and forth and she hung up. I called back from my cell and asked her why they are doing this to me. I said we have always been good customers and always tip the drivers really well. She said, " I can hear you now, what would you like to order?" No thank you, I will never order from there again.

this is upsetting, i like going to tasty asia, probably go there about every week or so for their lunch special for the past few years. today though i am laid up in bed because i had surgery yesterday and i can eat shrimp fried rice. i called and ask if they could do delivery, but they told me they had a $12 min. i told her i had surgery and immobile at the moment, she ask where i live and i told her 15th and main, 6 blocks away, and she said no we could not do that unless i ordered $12 worth of stuff. any extra stuff i ordered i would not be able to eat and just go to waste, i cannot even eat a whole order or the shrimp fried rice. well because of this i will never go to this place again, it seems the extra 5 dollars makes a difference then helping a customer. and it is not like i am even asking them to go out of their way and do something special, just take it on a run where you go north.really sad, i really liked this place.

I ordered from this place three weeks ago I The egg drop soup was the worst I ever had. The rest of what i ordered was Mediocre at best I was sadly Disapointed at the many shortcuts the took. the lack of veg in my sweet and sour combo (no ginger or pineapple either). The fried rice huge disapointment all i could taste was soy sauce lack of egg and no inion? really wtf,,,, How ever i orderedf from the rest of the garbage scows in this town and it is so unfortunate that i have to say these words. This is the best longmont has??? Honestly???? I am a chef i think this town needs an over haul between the worst pizza i had in my life at ever restaraunt in town and the chinese food here. Maybe its time owners cosider hiring a pro i will work cheap. Just tried ordering from this place out of desperation as i been cooking all day at work and the numbers have been busy now for over two hours. cant get thru ru serious people????

Lady who took my order was one of the rudest people Ive ever ordered food from. Its been an hour so I called back and was told a driver got stuck in the mud so they have longer wait times, but didnt bother to let me know when I placed my order. Said to wait another 45 minutes and if it still hasnt arrived call back. Really? Its already been over an hour, our stomaches hurt. The lady was also more rude than the first time. In addition, we had done this place once before and our food smelled like hot garbage and thats not an exaggeration. This is the only place I know in Longmont that delivers and my son begged for Chinese so I thought Id just order something basic and pray it doesnt stink. Well, maybe we will never know.

Ive tried a few places in Longmont for Chinese Food, and this is by far my favorite. Dont get me wrong, it is still the over-breaded, fried, not-100%-chicken dishes that you get at 99% of Chinese Restaurants (I did say 99% because I found a place in North Wales, PA that is phenomenal, I will review it later perhaps). That being said, this place is very affordable, tasty and any left overs (ie big dishes) always come out great from my microwave the next day or two. I always go for General Taos Chicken with either egg rolls or crab cheese won tons. Typically I order out/have delivered so I cant comment on the restaurant itself.

After 9 years, of ordering once a week, and my assist and I missed the delivery. my mistake, I own it. the owner called me, told me off that she is angry that we missed them. Bitched me out, and I apologized and felt bad. Then, the nice lady who took my order called right back saying they would only take my card...currently, my assistant is getting supplies to ship. so, I will never order again Staff is great, owner, bitchy. so, my friends and I are done ordering (three other oder had been wrong, I paid and no complaints from me). I respect small business, but dont punish a loyal customer of 9 years on an honest mistake.
