Decided to try Spicy House on a whim. Liked the 4.2 average rating, but only 5 reviews. Still, it was worth a shot. I have driven by here dozens of times without even a glance, and as a previous reviewer stated, the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired. The interior could use some updating, and there is no "Chinese" restaurant ambiance. Its pretty much white linoleum floor tiles, vinyl booths, and formica tables. clean, but not what one would expect. I was a little hesitant when we walked in, but steeled myself anyway. Only one drawback of our entire experience: they only serve sodas in cans oh and no alcohol, but the water is pretty good. The food... Wow! We were stunned! First, for the usual $8.95 you pay at most other Chinese/Asian food restaurants, you get a MOUND of food! And it ALL tasted really good! We ordered the orange chicken, Mongolian beef, beef lo mein, and Panang curry beef. We also had the hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, and won ton soup. They bring fried won ton strips out for your soup, if you want it. Nothing was meh, it was all really, really good! We had leftovers for days! Overall, you wont be disappointed. Give them a try. And bring your appetite or plan on taking some home for the next day or two.

The first time I was here. It was amazing. Real oranges in the Orange chicken. Spicy house chicken was very spicy and full of color. Ever since that visit its been deteriorating with every order. Now a days they have burned Orange peels in the Orange chicken. The spicy house chicken has been reduced to a rubbery mess smothered in garlic instead of the chili peppers and maybe a leaf of bok choy or two thrown in. With theyre ever changing recipe good look getting the same dish twice. Fyi. Tasty Asia includes a soup and a veggie roll with theyre lunch special at a lower price. AND THEYRE RECIPES ARE CONSISTENT.

Tonight was my first time trying it and I have not eaten Take -out Chinese in over 2 years. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. I did not know it was going to have a breading on it, which I am not a huge fan. The breading was somewhat soggy. The egg rolls were really good, but the crab cheese wontons were a little bit bland. No biggie. I will try it again when I get the craving for Chinese again in a couple of years, but I will choose a different menu item, for sure. So far I havent found a better option since that Tsos place closed on 95th and Arapahoe.

The food tasted good, but the price for the amount I got was too high. There was hardly enough rice to finish the main dish and the size of the main dish was about the size of a lunch menu item, not a dinner item and I ordered dinner at night. Other places give more food for the money. I wanted to rate this higher but the price really got to me for the amount I received.

They used to have the most AMAZING hot and sour soup, but the recipe has changed and now its just good (not great). Lots of tasty entrees too, great fried rice, good service, very reasonable prices, ... Im deducting two stars since (i) the ambiance at the restaurant leaves a bit to be desired, and (ii) none of the food is great, although most of the food is good.

Food is fresh and tasty! They have an inexpensive lunch menu and the dinner portion is priced well. All portions are a good size and we always get a to go box for all the meals we eat at Spicy House. The exterior and interior is simple and not much to look at but dont let that detour you. Spicy House is off the main street in Longmont but worth making the trip.

The food here is phenomenal, pretty much anything you get will be tasty. The service is ok. Not great, but not bad either. Lunch took about an hour when we were one of the only ones in the restaurant at 4. If you dont mind a little longer time for sit down, then check this place out. Carry out was luckily speedy though on second visit.

Quiet little spot to go for dinner or lunch. We had the shrimp Thai basil fried rice, the cashew shrimp, edamame , and fresh Vietnamese spring rolls. All of it was delicious and came out quickly. Great service, too! I miss eating here since I moved out of town.

Pretty disappointed in the food here. My chicken was mostly fat and breading. And the hot and sour soup was less than appetizing by the overwhelming amount of pepper in it. Which really bummed me out cause its my favorite and what I wanted most from my order.

Great variety of Asian food offerings for vegetarians. My Moo Sho Vegetables contained a variety of vegetables, including bok choy, which I love. Their thai green curry would be the best in the town if they would use far less sugar.

We were the only ones in there during lunchtime, which I thought was kind of odd for how good the food was. Not the most traditional type Chinese food I have ever had, but none the less was very tasty.

Food was average. To be fair, it was very cheap too. The egg rolls were undercooked and the dishes had too much sugar in them. Egg drop and hot n soups were great though.

Had to dispute the food charge as we never got the delivery. They screened our calls and we couldnt get to a person after this happened. Never go here, terrible business.

We always order the sesame chicken and combination fried rice. It arrives timely and hot. I would definitely recommend for your Chinese food delivery needs :-)

Great coconut shrimp. The waitress recommended it, not sure it was even on the menu. But if it wasnt it should be!

The restaurant has change hands recently. On my last visit one dish was unedible. I would not recommend it.

Fast, fresh and friendly. We frequently hit Spicy House when we get "down the hill". Reasonably priced as well.

Food is good overall. The ambiance is not great. Its a little dirty on the inside and had a strange smell.
