Great mom and pop place. Great service. We ordered two dishes and one came out before the other. When the second one came the waitress apologized and explained the delay was because the second dish was over done so they re-did. Its really nice they take pride in their food and wouldnt serve something that wasnt done right. Also, you get free hot tea with your meal when you dine in. Its really nice, most people dont even order drinks because of this. Today we ordered wonton soup, the beef and brocoli and and orange chicken. The soup was really good. Fresh veritable, and a really well done broth, perfectly seasoned. They main entrees have they own subtle unique flavor that you dont get anywhere else. This has become our go to place for Chinese food.

This is the best Chinese food that Ive had in Denver. I grew up on the east coast and Chinese food out there is much better. This is the closest that Ive found so far. They even have duck sauce on the table. Most of the places around here dont even know what duck sauce is. We order three different meals and had three different apps and they were all amazing. The sauces and flavors were great. Each meal is about $10 and they are good sized portions as well. People keep saying how the white rice is bland. Im not sure what the expect, its white rice people, its meant to be bland. In summary, I read these reviews all the time and this is actually my first ever one that Ive wrote. This place is that good that I had to do a write up. Enjoy!

Sadly disappointed because my husband and I have been going here for a long time. The last time we were there we had a cockroach run across our table right after our waiter picked up our plates and was packing up our food. My husband killed it and left it on the table when we went to pay our check we calmly told the owner what had happened and she shook her head no and said that they spray every two weeks for that. We told her that she should go look on the table if she didnt believe us. I highly doubt that they spray because if they did this would not have happened. So we will never be eating there again. I just want to let people know how unsanitary this place is and hopefully they will start taking care of the problem.

Weve been enjoying consistently fantastic meals here for a very long time. UNFORTUNATELY that changed a little less than a year ago. Now its hit or miss (i.e., about a month ago we decided to give it another try and the meal was perfect! Yay, maybe the original chef was back.!) Then we went back yesterday, ordered and were served the following: extremely spicy "hot and sour" soup, the wonton soup was so salty I couldnt finish it, the beef and broccoli was also extremely salty and very little brown sauce, etc.). Since the three of us could not finish our meals except for the tea and fortune cookie, we decided that it was time to move on and try to find another good chinese restaurant.

Normally love this place, but on our last visit everything went downhill. The tea had a bad taste. We next ordered a scallion pancake, which was burned as well as having the toughness consistency of a battered product Ive ever tried. You shouldnt be forced to use a knife to cut these things. Our main dishes were passable at best: the sesame scallops were cooked fine, but smothered in way too much sauce (possibly catering to the American palette) making them very soggy. The twice-fried seafood noodle plate has the best taste, a delicate flavoring & done in the right style, but the supermarket noodles lowered its quality quite a bit. Hope this was an off day & not becoming a regular thing.

I dined at Szechuan the afternoon of April 12, 2014. I ordered crab-cheese wontons and then had their lunch special in which I ate their egg drop soup but was too full to eat my main meal, chicken fried rice. I had it boxed and went home and put it right in the fridge. The next day I microwaved my left overs, consumed them, and by 7pm on April 13, 2014 I was in the midst of the worse food poisoning episode that I have ever been through. A trip to the ER and $6,394.00 later I was back to normal but left with "a terrible taste in my mouth". I do not recommend dining here unless youd like to lose weight the unhealthy way.

As a Chinese food connoisseur I love me some Chinese food. Terrible grammar here but seriously Szechaun is and seems like our family. Ever since my pops discovered it on a stroll. We have been coming there for at least 13 years. The service is incredible. The food is the best Chinese food in Lakewood. The eggdrop soup is highly recommended. The Pu-pu platter is one of my favorite things. An amazing atmosphere and so close by this a perfect place. We will continue going to Szechuan because the Chinese food is beyond anything I have eaten. Everything is made with care. Oh and won-tons are delightfully the bomb-dizzle.

Tucked away in the corner of a sad little strip mall nestled against 6th Avenue - look closely or youll miss it! I cannot stress how delicious their food was. I got Kung Pao Vegetables, hubby got Cashew Chicken. Rich flavor, well-cooked and marinated, and the veggies were still somewhat crunchy just as we like them. We both ended up taking about half our plates home because there was so much food. We also enjoyed the complimentary green tea. Pleasant wait staff, and despite the restaurant being pretty full our food was out extremely quickly. Definitely will be coming here the next time were in the area.

Got the order wrong, even after calling back to confirm. THE FOOD SUCKED! Old chicken & shrimp that was drenched in sauce to HIDE the old flavor. Bunk attitude when I called back to complain about forgotten eggrolls. Will never go back to this shack again...or the other Chinese place on Alameda and Garrison...THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Do yourself a favor...steer clear of both places. Oh...and this...I have worked and (lived in mainland China) for years...I KNOW what I am talking about when it comes to this kind of food.

This place is truly a hidden gem. The restaurant is tucked in the back corner of a sleepy strip mall and you could easily miss it if you are not looking for it. The food is really good. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and it was really flavorful. The food came quickly and the service was prompt and courteous. A lunch for two people was under twenty dollars including tip. I highly recommend checking this place out of youre in the mood for authentic Chinese cuisine.

My favorite Chinese restaurant! Love the Mongolian Beef. All the friends Ive taken there agree its as good as any place theyve ever tried. Great, friendly attentive, friendly staff and good prices too...what a GEM!. It has become the only place I like to eat Chinese food. Only 30 seconds off 6th Ave. between Wadsworth & Kipling makes it quick from most places. Its miles away from where I live but Ill always make the trip.

Super first experience. Were no experts on Persian cuisine, but we had all of the rich flavors we expected. The modern versions of classics were innovative without straying too far from the original flavors. That keeps the dishes both interesting and familiar. The service was impeccable. We sat on the terrace alongside the building rather than street side, which was quieter and more private. Overall a great first experience.
