Only a few times in my life have I been treated with such disrespect. I have visited this place more than once a month for the year that Ive lived in Old Town Arvada - within walking distance. Ive told MANY people about this place and am a source of probably 4 or 5 additional "regulars" that were hesitant to try such a seedy looking place. I will be absolutely sure to encourage them never to step foot in this place again. Open sign on, doors unlocked, customers in the restaurant and they literally told me my only choice was sweet and sour chicken and refused to make/serve me anything else. I used to go there for teriyaki chicken or sesame chicken - but not anymore. It may only be $50-100 in revenue a month that my friends and I are responsible for- but its beyond that. Its the principle. Have you ever gone into an open restaurant that refuses to serve you? Its offensive, humiliating, and leads you to want to tell every single person you know to tell their friends. I hate this feeling- this place shouldnt be in business.

As far as these "per scoop" places go, this is one is not the best. The only reason I kept coming back to this place is because it is within walking distance of my apartment. More than once I had to spit out a piece of food because they were lax with their butchering, a bit of bone or a tough chewy piece that should have been left on the cutting board. Things like that kinda give you a clue into their mindset on how much they care about the quality. That being said if desperate enough I would probably eat their again, but I usually just drive to Ho Mei Chinese Restaurant in Wheat Ridge now, the food I get there is consistently better for the same price. Bottom line: If you live nearby, I say give them a shot and form your own opinion, but if you have to drive here, youre better off picking somewhere else.

Finally decided to check this place out after living in the area for a year. On the outside, doesnt look like much, same can be said about the inside. This place really makes its name by serving great food and a good price. I ordered the Beef Lo Mein (Special Order) and the box they gave me felt like it weighted a couple of pounds. This is seriously two meals for the price of one. Quality wise, it was pretty spot on with some of the other good Chinese places ive visited. Ill be going back here again in the near future to try some other things. The only downfall I can think of, they dont serve a full american chinese menu.

Wanted cheap Chinese for the night, and this place is just three blocks from our house. Tried it for the first time tonight and even though for two containers full of food for only $7 something, Ive had way better before. The sesame chicken tastes more like teriyaki chicken, dont get me wrong the chicken is good but for sure not sesame, rice was decent. BUT The noodles where NASTY. Rubbery and odly soft at the same time. I didnt want to make diner tonight as its been a long day, but after a couple bites of this I am making diner. Even at 8:30 p.m

Ive been coming here for a few years with my family and it was decent enough when it was fresh, but itll probably be the last time I come here. I got bottom of the pan, metal tasting chow mein and told them it tasted old and asked if I could just have a egg roll or something and they said it tastes the same, and they took my food and threw it in the microwave just saying it needed a minute.... so, that was gross.

Ive been to this place many times, however after tonight I will not be back. I have received the worst case of food poisoning from this place with in hours of eating here. Blood in vomit and the worst stomach cramps imaginable. Child birth is more pleasant than what I am going thru.

>:/ !!!They over tax you for every scoop you get. Ive also seen the lady almost get away with not giving this man all of his money back. Im pretty much paying $4.00 for two scoops at the $1.35 scoop. The cooks in the back can also be huge creeps towards certain woman.

I love this place. Very hearty, down-to-earth fast Chinese at a rock bottom price. Staff is efficient and friendly. Dont come here expecting gourmet food, if thats what you want, then go somewhere and pay a gourmet price. They keep it very clean too!

The food gave my brother-in-law diarrhea within the hour & I was throwing up half of the night. We had different meals. It was visually unappetizing & didnt taste good. I shouldnt have eaten it.

Great portions especially for the price. Sesame chicken wasnt that great though. Most of it was breading and the sauce was average at best. Stomach didnt feel too good soon after eating it.
