I have been coming to this coffee shop for 2 years. I have always been able to bring my own food without getting reprimanded because I have allergies that are not very common and the coffee shop does not sell what I can eat. I opened a snack bar and the owner, Jeff, swooped in like he had been waiting for it. He told me and my friend that we could not have outside food in his coffee shop. I told him that I bring my own because he doesnt have anything to buy that I can have. He then gave me this ridiculously snarky look and asked me what allergies I have and asked what kind of snack bar I had. I told him and he said, well, I have bars at the counter that dont have any of those ingredients in them. He totally lied. I have looked at the bars at the counter and there are zero that I can have. I could not believe the attitude that he gave me and my friend. He acted like a 2 year old not getting his way. Then, about 5 minutes some teens showed up to shop for games (not even to sit down at a table, just to SPEND MONEY ON GAMES!!!!!) and they all had drinks from 7-11. Jeff immediately told to them to leave and lost the business and money of 4 people. I most likely wont come here again unless I need to since the shop is the only place around open late. I make it a point to buy a drink each time I come in (4-6 times a week) and have spent a lot of time and money here. Jackie and her husband are really sweet people and they know how to run a business the right way. They need to buy Jeff and his parents out of this business so that they dont keep losing customers. From the other reviews, it looks like Jeff is a major problem and he drives away customers all the time. By the way, there is no sign on the outside of the business that says no outside food is allowed.

When this store had just opened, I was running random pick-up games of dungeons and dragons for a couple of regulars and anyone else who wished to join every week, on Saturdays. We enjoyed our time spent there, and we purchased both food and gaming supplies while on site regularly. After a few months, the owner, Jeff, started berating the people who were joining my game, eventually chasing them away... Mind you these people were usually children and teens between the ages of 12 and 16. My regulars no longer wanted to participate in the games, and because I didnt have people who could be regularly counted on to play, it was difficult to garner outside interest by random participants, so there was no longer a reason for me to continue patronizing this business on Saturdays. I, did however, enjoy regular Friday Night Magic tourneys, and continued to participate in these events for for a few years after the owner chased off the children who were interested in gaming. At the end of that time, it became a regular occurrence that the owner was demanding to search any bags that me or my friends would bring with us to this gaming store. I chose to finally end my relationship with this business and its owner when, while I was speaking German with a friend of mine, the owner stepped out of his office and angrily demanded that I stop speaking like a "skin-headed neo-nazi", and also that I should apologize for speaking German in his establishment. I dont know if this establishment has changed ownership since this happened, but if Jeff is still involved with the business, there are far better establishments to visit in regards to both gaming and coffee.

CRAZY AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. It was our first time there and we were served by an Asian gentleman on Friday 10/21/2016. I paid for my stuff and he seemed totally inconvenienced that I was there at all, and more so when I wanted to enter my email to get my receipt. Once I was done, he punched a few buttons and immediately left without saying a word and just started chatting up on some girl behind the counter. He left so fast, I wasnt sure if I could take my stuff and leave. My girlfriend was even shocked and said out loud, "should we go?" I got pissed when she said that, and took my stuff and left the store. The kid had a really crappy attitude. No thank you, no goodbye. no sh!ts given at all. Guess he was taking out his nerd aggression on some strangers to feel good. Hope it made his day. I found out later that the tall bearded guy that works there was trying to rush her out of the store. They were having some games taking place at various tables He kept asking her what she wanted to see and when she said she just wanted to look, he kept pushing and asked her why she even came in? She had to repeat that she was just looking and he mentioned that they were about to close that section of the store soon. As a customer, they made it feel known that we were not welcome in the store. In short: I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. WASNT WORTH HAVING TO DEAL WITH THE ATTITUDE OF THE RUDE EMPLOYEES.

From March last year (2015) to December we had a weekly game night there. The manager, Ty, was a great guy who always reserved us a table; all I had to do was email and confirm whether wed be there that night, which we were with only two or three exceptions. Then the manager left and the owner, Jeff, took over. Despite my having emailed to reserve our usual table, he didnt; when we got there and found the table occupied, he told me that he hadnt checked his emails all day. When I told him the arrangement wed had with the former manager the owner told me he wouldnt reserve us a table every week, because someone else might come in and want to use it.. When I said -- politely -- that we had been doing just that for seven months he pointed to a table full of women and said. "Theyve been coming here six years." He was rude, condescending, and apparently more concerned with theoretical customers who "might" need a table than with real, regular customers who actually did. Some other review of this place said to ignore the criticisms and one star reviews; thats lidicrous. We were good, steady customers who spent a great deal of money there and were treated like dirt by the owner. Find another place.

If you want to play magic, go elsewhere. They charge the highest prices for singles and have the worst judges who dont care about cheating (such as swapping cards during a draft). I have even been there when they threatened to revoke their meager prize support from everyone because one draft pod didnt clean up their table. They do some fairly sketchy things to make magic events fire like signing store employees up to get the right number, then dropping from the event leaving a 5 player tournament running. I could list more but Ill just say, if you want to play magic, there are 4 other stores within 30 minute driving distance all of which are better than enchanted grounds. If youre looking for a board game, their selection is alright. Its nothing incredible but munchkin, ticket to ride and settlers of catan are always in stock. They have a strong RPG community there so if youre interested in playing some pathfinder or DnD youre one of the lucky few who will truly enjoy the store. All I can say is if they didnt double as a fairly nice coffee shop, they would be out of business because the gaming community barely puts up with their crap.
