Red Robin was once a fine establishment. Good food, reasonable prices, and laid back. Then, a few years ago, the brain trust that runs the place decided that it would be a good idea to rebrand the whole operation. Since then, Red Robin has been reduced to the literal equivalent of being served a meal at McDonalds - and not the "nice" McDonalds - more like the dirty, dingy old McDonalds that are attached to gas stations where you have to get a key to use the bathroom. Red Robin does this cool thing now where if you show up with anyone under the age of 18 with you, they shove you in the back of the restaurant behind a divider as some form of punishment for having kids so you dont disturb all the other adults there smart enough to not have kids, or at least leave their kids at home. The quality of the food is terrible these days and the service is even worse. To make matters worse, a majority of customer-server interaction has now been replaced with an obnoxious table-top tablet where you can order your food, request a drink refill, pay the bill, etc. This means two things: 1. Your server will literally do nothing besides punch in your initial order and refill your drink when you push the button and; 2. If you have your kids with you, you will do nothing but look impatiently at your watch waiting for your food to come while you kids fight over who gets to look a the tablet while begging to play $2 games on it. To top it all off, a burger now runs $11-16, so a family of four will shell out $60-75 for the pleasure of eating here assuming your dont order alcohol or dessert and can dodge the incessant "Can we play a $2 game!!???" question for an hour. Knowing all of this, I still made the mistake of going in for a "quick lunch" there today with one of my kids. It took the server almost 20 minutes to acknowledge us and even then, all we got was "Sorry about the wait. Ill be right back." Ten minutes later, he came over and when I asked him how his day was going he responded by asking me what I wanted to drink. Since I had a hunch we wouldnt be seeing him again anytime soon, we ordered or food with our drinks before he disappeared to look at his Instagram feed on his cell phone. Several minutes later he reappeared with our drinks but forgot the fries we had asked for. When I asked about the fries, he said he would grab them and walked off. It was the last interaction we had. Twenty minutes or so later, still without fries and now with empty glasses, someone else appeared and dropped off our food. I asked for our drinks to be refilled and was told that our server could do that when he came by. By this point, nearly 45 minutes into the experience, I was keeping my eye peeled for the manager so I could make a scene. I started to eat my burger, which was under cooked. I then realized that the burger patty was literally folded in half on the bun. The bottom of the bun was also completely soggy. Hey, at least it was only $14, right? As I ate my fries (I gave up on the burger), I saw the manager walking around. He was one his cell phone, doing laps and ignoring people while he wandered. When he finally walked by, I flagged him down and told him I wanted to talk to him. He took his phone away from his ear, put his finger up and said, "Just give me a second and Ill be right back." I never saw him again. With that, I hopped on the friendly tablet on our table, paid the bill, got up and left Red Robin for what will hopefully be the last time. The only way Ill ever go back there is if Im forced there for a business lunch or some other event where I cant choose the location. If you are looking for a burger and find yourself at this particular Red Robin, walk 200 yards east to the Steak n Shake that just opened. A burger there is $5, cooked fresh and wont take 45 minutes to get your hands on. And hey, even if the service is as bad as it is at Red Robin, at least it wont cost $75.

Absolutely the worst experience we have had thus far. Lets be honest the service is hit or miss, but we continue to come back because we love the food! We went last night and had the worst experience EVER!! We were served one drink (2 were wrong) in 45 min, the manager brought us sauce but it was 25 min too late for there to be fries for it. There was a stack of empty cups at the table when he brought the sauce and he didnt offer to refill them. Our waiter Brandon ignored not only us but 3 other tables! My husband went to the bar and got us refills after another waitress brought our food out, our order was wrong AND then the bill wasnt right. No one came and apologized or really acknowledged there was any sort or problem. I was DISGUSTED. Not sure we will be going back after last night!

It was my sons birthday. Our food was taking a little long, and the manager came up, apologized & offered to discount our food because of the wait. Then, the easiest thing, a salad, took way longer than it should have and he discounted it totally off the bill. GREAT SERVICE ! They always give a free sundae with birthday and also sing, but my son asked them not to sing and they made a point not to. At the end, the discount was only taken off of one bill (there was 2 separate ones) and when we pointed it out, they made it right within minutes! The waitress was a little slow with getting drink refills/checking on us but it was really super busy. The wait staff and especially the manager were great! I definitely will keep this in mind in the future. You WILL see me in the restaurant again!

both my husband and I have been good customers to red robin, birthdays and anniversaries celebrated there but the last couple visits have been substandard and their quality reflects that. our last visit was 37 dollars for one fountain drink, a salad, a "gourmet burger" with 8 steak fries, and a kids meal. all of which I couldve made better at home. we always order a stack of onion rings that never made it to our table and the manager said it was "over looked" by the kitchen staff. and he didnt even offer to fix the problem. therefore they just lost regular customers.i would rather support a local business than to this chain restaurants cheaply made burgers anymore .

This is the absolute worse Red Robin I have ever been to. The first time I ever came here, it took them over an hour to get out a burger and chicken tenders. Plus the waitress was rude and maybe fill our drinks twice. Even though we asked her more times than I can remember to fill our drinks. This time we went, they said the wait was 25-30 min wait, so we waited, Maybe 45 mins, people are being seated that came in after us, so I ask what is taking so long, they never put us on the list, then said well we can take your name and sit you when we have a table. Uhh, no thank you. Totally unprofessional and not worth the time.
