When we were new to the area several years ago Ambrosia was one of the first restaurants we tried. The food was okay but nothing spectacular and it seemed a little overpriced for what you got. After being here for a while, we found other places we liked more and we hadnt eaten here in years. We decided to give them a try again as we heard that they had remodeled, expanded and had added a hibachi grill. The restaurant is nice and upscale looking as you approach so your expectation is for a more upscale experience but as we parked and walked to the restaurant from the back parking lot we noticed that the kitchen door was hanging open and a bunch of kids of varying ages (owner or staff kids?) were going in and out and screaming, running and chasing each other on the sidewalk and around the front of the restaurant and patio area and some were hiding under tables. Not exactly what we expected. The restaurant is nice, spacious and upscale modern inside. Hubby and I both decided on the Thai Curry Noodles with tofu and our son had the Peanut Curry with tofu. The food tasted fine. It was not the best Ive had and not the worst. It was not something Id crave and seek out but it was edible. According to the menu the Thai Curry Noodles is a spicy dish but it had no heat whatsoever. We asked for something to spice the dish up and they brought some house made hot sauce for us to add to our food. Our server was friendly and brought what we asked for but was scarce and not very attentive. We found ourselves waiting a bit for him to reappear several times. At one point our son spilled a glass of water and water ran all over the table and floor. No one even noticed. We tried to contain it the best we could with our napkins but it needed something much more absorbent. When we were finished with our food we waited about 15 minutes for our server to ask if we were ready for the check and then another 10 minutes for him to actually bring the check and then another 5 minutes to return with the receipt to sign. While the place looks great post remodel, the high ceiling makes for a really noisy, unpleasant atmosphere to dine in - the noise was crowded bar level loud and there really werent that many people dining. As we left the restaurant, the same group of kids we encountered when arriving was still outside screaming and running around and several darted in front of us as we were walking down the sidewalk and one would have run into me if I hadnt paused to let them run in front of me. I dont think well be back soon - nothing very impressive and there are several downright negatives. If the food and service matched the decor this place would go on our regular list.

Was taken here for a birthday dinner, my girlfriend snuck up to the front and told them this because we wanted a fun time, I was super-ready to catch food and sake flung at my face. They were out of the first two beers I tried to order. The waiter recommended a local beer, but couldnt tell me what it was (Direct quote when asked: "Uh, its a Wiley Roots Beer.") Finally got my beer after the chef started. Was nearly completely ignored by the chef, the ONLY INTERACTION was how I like my steak. I requested medium-rare, I received it well-done. Hibachi "flairs and tricks" more complicated than spatula-flipping were non-existent. After the dinner, the waiter came by and asked if my girlfriend would like mochi as dessert for her birthday (again, it was my birthday, she was treating me). We declined. He came back and handed us the bill and DID NOT MOVE. He stood over us, watching, as money was put together. "Is everything ok?" he asked anxiously, as if he expected us to not be able to afford the bill. We arrived at 8:25 and we were back in the car at 9:20. There were parties that had been chugging sake as we arrived that were still seated as we were hurried out the door. Was looking forward to a fun hibachi dinner and left severely disappointed in the experience. At one point, a toddler walked out of the *kitchen* and asked if I would take her to the bathroom (Im a dude). Would not go again, we will both telling our friends and coworkers to avoid this place.

Best Asian restaurant in town, by far. There arent many restaurants in Greeley to choose from if youre looking for good sushi or Asian cuisine. Ambrosia is both affordable and delicious. If youre looking for sushi, look no further. Their sushi rolls are fairly large and very fresh and full of flavor. They have all kinds of noodles; the pad thai is pretty good. Curry is actually really good too. Ive tried the peanut thai curry. Im usually very picky about curry, but it was great. My favorite on the menu so far is the Ambrosia Duck dinner. So delicious served on a bed of veggies. Even their garden salad is delish... I like the sauce. Service is always very professional and friendly. Food is served fairly fast and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated too. Great for a date or an evening out. Check this place out. You wont be disappointed.

I was pretty happy with my experience until it came time to pay for the check, i payed with my credit card when the waiter came by to pick up the receipt he noticed i didnt add a tip he was behind me so i didnt see his dirty looks but my sister sitting across from me saw it all mumbling what im sure were bad words about us im guessing he didnt see the $5 tip on the table well over %20 on the bill, on the way out i was smiling at him saying thank u as i passed by he gave me the dirtiest look and mumbled something i didnt understand probly also a bad word which surprised me he was so pleasant the entire time he served us. outside my sister told me why (made me so mad) never going back.. His attitude was really unnecessary ruined my entire experience felt like going back to get my $5!

The food here is amazing! The environment and wait staff are perfect. I would gladly give Ambrosia 5 stars if they were to have gluten free options marked on their menu. I have been here at least once a week for the past month, and each time I have to ask my server if certain foods are gluten free. It takes an unnecessarily long time to order this way, and it makes me feel so awful and high-maintenance. I then feel the need to tip far more than I would otherwise, so it makes my meal out more expensive, even though the prices are quite reasonable. Ambrosia is great, but please help those of us with food allergies!

I give it 2 stars because the food is good but the customer service is horrible, the last time I ordered food here they messed it up and when we called about it they said they would discount the food they messed up on the next time we ordered, well here we are today and they said that they cannot discount us and that we would have to wait till the manager who we talked to us to be there, how stupid!! If your a manager you have to deal with the other managers decision as well, cause you will loose customers if you cant keep the other managers promises as well! They just lost my business!!
