I have been a patron for over three years. The food is decent, not outstanding but decent. However, this is the second time we have had to endure excessive rudeness. The first time, at the time the order was placed, the waitress was quite put out when I requested the hash browns be cooked crispy. When they arrived, the hash browns were pale, near raw. I have never before had soggy hash browns be the norm. Needless to say, my request to please recook them was refused...the comment given was they were "too busy". This same day, three of the four people in our party received our meals...the fourth person at the table did not receive their meal for another 12 minutes! No apology was offered. All 4 of us were stunned. Second rude encounter, several months later, was having to endure the manager/owner complaining quite rudely about our request to split the bill (although at the time the orders were placed, the request was made and accepted). In going to the counter to pay we had to hear this manager/owner complain (she intended us to hear her) how "ridiculous" it was to request to split our bill. Really? As splitting the bill is an uncommon practice? There are further issues but I will stop here as it is just not worth it to remain clients of an establishment that finds normal business practices such a burden. There are plenty of other restaurants in Evergreen.

I am very upset with the Lakeshore Cafe right now. I have been a loyal customer for almost 2 years. Last Sunday I called at 7 AM when they opened. The girl on the phone was rude and irritated with me for calling right at opening time to place a to go order. She said, "We just opened the oven isnt even hot yet." I told her we could wait awhile and she said fine she would take my order, but I wouldnt be able to get it for at least half an hour because they were late getting started today. I have never had a business get annoyed with me and talk to me this way. How was I supposed to know that open at 7 meant open after 7? If you cant take orders until 7:30 then open at 7:30! When my husband brought the food home there was a nice long blonde hair planted directly in the middle of the food. It seemed as though that was my punishment for being a customer. NEVER AGAIN. Bye bye Lakeshore.

Its a small town breakfast place, simple yet effective. They serve great omlettes, huge breakfast burritos and fantastic burgers! Oh and on Fridays they have chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes (its BOMB). But with a small space come small "inconveniences" the wait times can be long during peak breakfast hours for seating and food, but the wait is totally worth it, this place is awesome! My family has been eating there ever since they opened definitely a treat if youre in or around Evergreen!

This place was very busy at 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon, so that tells me its well liked in the local area. Our food was really good as we got a variety of breakfast and lunch meals. The service was solid and very friendly. Prices were really reasonable as well. Id recommend this place to anyone wanting a good meal with no frills.

Great service, good food! When you are finally tired of the bad service and food at the Country Road in Kittridge come here and enjoy the friendly staff who dont mind if you have a guest joining you after youve been seated. The loud mouth owner and his unfriendly staff are better suited to run a junk yard!

Good basic breakfast and lunch fare with an old school diner vibe and menu, with such friendly waitstaff! Counter, table, or booth seating. Its a popular local morning destination on the weekends, first come first served, no reservations, closes at 2pm.
