My boyfriend and I stopped by on our way to Denver. The food was pretty good, but the waitress was unhelpful and awkward. I ordered the tuna steak sandwich and my boyfriend order the buffalo patty melt and some coffee. The food came out pretty quickly but the waitress handed my boyfriend the wrong food. My boyfriend pointed this out and asked if he could just have buffalo sauce on the side. She just awkwardly said sure and didnt even apologize for the mistake. She goes to get the sauce but returns to tell us that they didnt have any. So basically they just went ahead and made something kind of similar without checking in first. My boyfriend was nice enough to let it pass. He had this patty melt and said it wasnt that bad. The curly fries were also pretty good. The waitress never came back to check on us until we were done eating so she could take the plates away. Then when the check came the waitress still charged for the buffalo patty melt which was a little extra than the regular patty melt. Overall, a very mediocre experience. I guess it wouldve been better if we had the other waitress who seemed to be more personable.

We wanted a hometown diner, and Eagle Diner fell short. We arrived at about 8:30 and they close at 9. We ordered sandwiches and hamburgers. The best part of the whole meal was the pickles. The burgers were only half the size of the buns they were served on. I asked for fries and got onion rings. The vanilla malt we ordered was $4.50 and was about 8 oz and too thin. The fries were frozen fries and overdone. I also ordered a slice of "Gormet" chocolate cake for $4.50 and the slice was literally one inch high and one and a half inches wide at the widest part. The cake was dry and old. When I got the check, I was charged for the onion rings I didnt order. And the waitress was put out that I asked her to take them off. Five of us ate for $65-$70. Way over priced for the food we were served. Not exactly my idea of a great diner.

I use to stop by here on my way to Glenwood Springs, not any more. We were seated in an area with 4 other tables with guests. The waitress said she would be right with us. We watched her for 15 minutes fill up coffee and water on the other guests and then stand behind the counter and complain to another waitress about someone. And then one of the guests came back after forgetting something. This person was on a bike and the waitress went outside to talk to the biker about where he was from. We got up and left. No one even cared on why we left.

Did not have a good time with the disrespectful staff . Although the prices seemed affordable once the check came around the 18% gratuity made it ridiculously over priced. One waitress would not let a table of young girls near me leave without tipping although they had already paid the $13 gratitude fee which goes to the workers pay .overall very disrespectful workers unfortunately the visit was not worth the dissapointment.

it was crap. they were very disrespectful like i have an attitude but not as bad as the waitresses. gradituity is supposed to be an option and they charged 12.54 in gradituity. 18% of the bill... although we came in as a group we all had seperate bills but they would not let us pay separately making it hard for everyone to pay. The best part of the whole restaurant was the gumball machine. overall do not go there.

Stopped here on the way back to the airport and so glad we did. Great variety. One guy had the buffalo bacon burger, another had the tuna salad sandwich, and I had the chicken fried steak (hard to find on the east coast) and it was amazing for all of us. Plus the service was great and fast. Definitely worth going. Make sure to check out all the great stuff on the walls to...some pretty classic stuff.

The Eagle diner is half way to denver for me. My mother in law and I meet there to pick up or drop off the grandkids. Every single time we eat at the diner we have the worst service ever. There is plenty of staff but its like they dont know what to do or how to do it! So I will never eat at this place again! its to bad, I like the diner and the food but the staff needs alot of training!

Went in there with my son on Sat. Jan 29. Enjoyed it from the moment we walked in with the warm and friendly greeting. Then we met Annie our waitress.....SHE WAS GREAT as was the food she served. We carried the pleasant experience and conversation with us and now several days later remembered to share the experience. Thank you Annie and Eagle Diner. Nicholas Maxim, Bluffton SC.

After a rock slide closed I-70 all traffic was stopped at the little town of Eagle. Overwhelmed by orders and grumpy customers, the staff of the diner handled the hordes of guests well. I kept my order simple: Bacon cheeseburger and fries. It arrived faster than I expected, and was very tasty. Service was excellent and cheerful even with the chaos. Great place!

Stopped in late on a drive through the mountains. Great food with excellent pricing. The curly fries were the route to go for the extra $1. The butterscotch milkshake was exactly the type of shake you want to taste when you go to a diner as well! Well definitely use this as our stop point whenever we make our regular trips between Denver and Grand Junction.

Very tasty omelets. I got the veggie and added ham. The Phili Cheese omelet was also well received. Get gas and stop here for food on your way to wherever. Its a real world diner. I wish they served some of the lunch and dinner options earlier in the day but thats their call. Next time I am driving by later in the day, Ill give them a shot.

Food was good. The waitress was a Mexican woman who didnt know jack squat. She wouldnt let us split the checks because she was so lazy and ignorant. I cant believe that these people would hire someone as a dumb as that. I would be embarressed if that was me. I would not eat here again if she was my waitress. Despicable

I usually have a great experience when eating here, the this time service was really lacking. And then, to add insult to injury, one of the three lazy waitresses comes around hawking her daughters Girl Scout cookies. Talk about tacky! Good thing the food was still okay or this could easily have gone to one star.

I love this place. Every time we come by I stop in. Had the breakfast burrito before, this time the chile relleno with pork green chile sauce. Its a huge portion so didnt even eat the side of sausage I ordered. A nice diner environment. The waitress was very friendly. Its easy to get to off the interstate.

Love this place!! Stopped in today for lunch on my way to Aspen. I ordered the Buffalo patty melt (DELICIOUS) and a chocolate malt. My friend ordered the South West burger, looked amazing! Our waitress was young, attentive and super sweet. Overall this place is great!
