Border Taco started off in a tiny location inside a nearby gas station. They now have one of the larger restaurants in Douglas. Ive seen quite large parties accommodated at this location. Theres also drive-thru available if youre in a hurry. My favorite food here is a toss up between the burro macho and the breakfast burrito... They also make a delicious beef pozole. Make sure to tough it out and put some chiltepin in there for a more... robust flavor!

Horrible customer service! The waitress was so rude and dosent comprehend simple orders.They have a house salsa which was super salty and disgusting. We ordered chips and guacamole, they serve a 3rd of the guac in comparison to the chip portion. The guacamole was gross and nothing like the "mexican experience" the rest of the food was mediocre. Lastly, the decor was extremely tacky and embarrassing.

The Alaskan CowBoy Trucker
Being a truck driver and stuck at a shipper in Douglas and there is no where in town with truck and trailer parking. They cant deliver food to a driver that would umm spend over $30 easily. Seems like the town of Douglas needs to get more Trucker friendly instead of turning business away.. Truckers have the means of mouth that can either increase your business or decrease your business..

Down here in Douglas for work and stopped here after I read the reviews. my experience is like others. Very little English is spoken, if any. I had the shredded beef taco plate. It was outstanding. Even the rice and beans. They brought out a bottle of taco sauce/salsa and I was very impressed. May be a little spicy for some, but I really liked it.

The number one reason I come here: shrimp ceviche tostadas!!!! The bf loves the burritos. They deserve special applause, however, for the ceviche tostadas. Not many restaurants in Southern Arizona offer that choice, and their ceviche mix is particularly well spiced and flavored.

Every time we are in Douglas we stop here for the Menudo. Although I have had several of their other dishes, and all are fantastic, the menudo it what brings me in every visit to Douglas. When I lived here I would eat here all the time. Great place, Great people!!

Great food, super friendly staff. If you want beer too then pick some up at Border Mart across the road - but its Douglas and thats standard here so no marks against for that one! Chilli relleno is excellent.
