This is a prime spot in Denver - I mean Cherry Creek is THE place and unfortunately its built an overblow reputation so any restaurant in that zip code is expected to perform over and above. With that, here is my review: Overall ambiance - still top notch Parking - a tiny tiny park lot which is gold in this neighborhood Weekday feel - not dynamic. Considering it wasnt the full mid summer heat and there are plenty of places to sit outside, its not popping Menu Choices - great italian fare & wide variety Dishes - Olive Appetizer with cheese - olives were GREAT but we were served what would constitute as a rind. Yowch! The waiters were quick to remedy the situation Meatballs - oh so yummy! Risotto -not bad but great - a bit gluey Pizza - crispy crust and great flavor Overall it doesnt seem to be the hip and happening spot but its still very solid The staff were all great and very responsive. However, here is my advice with regards to social media: .... if you can remember a different special every night - you should be able to recite the Twitter handle which is the same every night. No one seemed to know it (and they were all young!) and basically told me that Piattis was NOT on twitter - not true and here is their handle:: @piattidenver. Ironically - they are actually very active on social. Listen, Im over 50 and understand how it feels to not be a millenial but social media isnt going anywhere. so... adapt!

The night staff is the best Ive ever experienced! The sangrias (Rachels way of making them) are literally to die for. My fiance and I go for just the sangrias (a little pricey, but worth it) and the staff remembers us every time even if its been months since weve been in! The sangrias come with a complementary bread basket and the best sauce to dip them in that you could ever imagine. The bread is not gluten free. However the mouth watering pasta (and I think maybe the pizza?) can come gluten free if you just ask! Whenever we stay for more than a sangria, and order a meal we never regret it! The atmosphere is loud, busy, and makes you feel like people are actually interacting. Please if you havent been here, check it out! Youre doing yourself a favor!

Disappointed After much fanfare and recommendations, a friend and visited for dinner last week 1. Service - very attentive 2. Menu - very standard Italian 3. Price - what I expect from Cherry Creek 4. Food - I need to break this into 2 categories Bread and Oil - addictive and succulent. I was impressed Meal - clean and effective presentation with a portion size that matches price. But the only way I can describe the overall taste is “old people food” there was no flavor, the plate was not diverse in color and of course there are no official sides on the plate. For a quality restaurant in cherry creek I would expect a little more flavor and enjoyment from an establishment of this caliber. Will not go back.

Service was great staff is so friendly & attentive! You MUST make a reservation on the weekend!! Patio seating is romantic & inside in quaint & comfortable. Bar already full! Valet parking! Good prices! Great ambiance! 2 or 20 your party is welcomed here!! Check out the menu online before your arrived it tastes as good as it sounds!

With all the wonderful reviews I expected more. The wine list was okay for a Italian restaurant. But the service was so slow and there werent a lot of us there. The food was just standard, and too spicy or used way too much garlic. I ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce as well as the sorbet. Sorbet was more of an ice slush treat and again the sauce was too spicy to really enjoy. Honestly the best part of this was the car service. If not for that I would have rated it a two star.

Amazing pasta dishes. The salmon was also fabulous. Some of the best pasta Ive ever had and given the price, it was out of this world. The ambiance was wonderful. The service was top notch. Our waitress gave fantastic recommendations and I was given my dessert on the house for my birthday. With that being said my boyfriend, did get food poisoning from eating the pork meatballs so only 4 stars. However my meal was so delicious I would probably still go here again honestly.

I have been here three times recently, and I just keep coming back. The food is excellent, and I love the ambience. Last night (Friday) we go there around 7, and it was kind of an older crowd, but by the time we left, things had gotten a lot more lively. The restaurant, bar area, and patio were full but not overcrowded. This place feels warm and friendly, like the family-owned restaurant it is. I love the decor too.

Piatti Restaurant was delicious! Our meals were very tasty, but it seemed to take a long time for them to come. The food was so good and worth going back for in the future. Also, our server was very attentive when we arrived, but seemed to forget about us after that. We maybe saw him once or twice after our food came. The bar service though was excellent. Bartender was fun and engaging.

The food is exceptional, been to many italian restaurants in CO this one is definitely my top 4... the server recommended me the mushroom pasta and they did the best one here! ... will come back just for that mushroom pasta! Keep up the good work Paolo!

Great food, And service is terrific. Local neighborhood joint that is very intimate and cozy. Ive eaten here multiple times and have always enjoyed the experience. If youre looking for a big chain restaurant, this is not the place for you.

We had New Years Eve dinner here and it was delicious. Great service, excellent wine list, and delicious food. I recommend ordering several things and sharing so you can taste a variety of dishes! Must have the chocolate cake dessert.

The place is very nice, the food very good, and the service very friendly and helpful with the menu. The menu is a northern flavor of Italian food. The ravioli is phenomenal. It is a bit over priced though.

Lovely atmosphere and service. Food was top quality. I wish I could give 4.5 stars as my only slightly negative is a rather sparse wine list relative to the upscale nature of the restaurant.

Great food, great service. Our party had two different salads, pork chops, and two pizzas. All spectacular. (Note-valet parking a must; very little parking in the area.)
