Im very disappointed to be leaving only 2 stars, as this used to be our favorite restaurant in Denver. Top notch service, wine selection, and excellent food! Not sure what has changed but the same can no longer be said. The food now is very slow and inconsistent, interesting (read:arrogant) flavor combinations, specifically the appetizers, overly complicate what used to make Stella so unique: simple, rustic dishes made with clearly the best ingredients. I am hoping they right their ship, as this used to be an excellent establishment. Heres hoping to a improved future...

This was the third time we have tried dinner. Always marginal but we keep having high hopes..... this evening I ordered the Pasta with Vodka sauce with "meatballs" dug trough the overdone pasta to fine 7 thin slices do what could have been a PART OF A BALL O MEET. The fish of the day was sooooo overloaded with capers the essence of fish was lost and to boot the asparagus was just not roasted but burnt. Service nice. Last time!

Really great find! The neighborhood doesnt look so nice but Trattoria Stella is very stylish and comfortable inside. Most importantly, the food is delicious! Great pizza and pasta, good selection of drinks and deserts. They even gave us a free desert (without us asking for it) due to a very minor mistake with our order. On Sundays they donate part of the profits to charity as well. I will definitely be back.

Im sorry but Stella trattoria was not a great dining experience for me. This does not taste like Italian food at all. They are trying to disguise the bland taste of he marinara with extra garlic. Hello not everything Italian is aboutgarlic. The service was friendly though but the food was a waste of time. I can buy TV dinners that taste more authentic. Sorry #justsaying.

My boyfriend and I went for brunch on Valentines Day. We both ordered two varying hashs and it was beautiful in presentation but seriously lacked flavor (I never use additional salt but definitely did this time). However, we also ordered the French toast and it was DELICIOUS! Overall...it was okay, but wont be returning.

Nice atmosphere, staff is very pleasant and accommodating, prices are a bit high and menu is limited for one w an Italian background. Making everything in house is cute but I want more food wise. Lovely bar otherwise. I appreciate the Italian star wars art. Is George Lucas Italian? Wheres the pics of Frank Sinatra?

Its not cheap but it is affordable and what you get for the price is really great. The menu changes twice a year, I highly recommend catching one of their new menu tastings. The owner is super friendly and gets bonus points for having Italian Star Wars posters framed in the bar area.

A hidden treasure! My husband and I come here often. We love the food and ambiance. Andrew will make you something delicious while you wait for a fabulous meal. This is my favorite restaurant on the10 miles if Colfax. Its worth a try. I highly recommend.

Delicious upscale food at a reasonable price. Warm environment for friends and family. Its a must on my list and should be on yours too. Had the calamari appetizer, very flavorful and as an entré the 32nd St Pasta. Definitely well be returning.

We live across the street and eat here regularly because they have some great food and the option to eat it in the low key R Bar rather than the restaurant. We recommend the sausage tomato rigate. Its the best!

Absolutely delicious food. Unbelievably terrible parking. No disabled parking as its street parking only, so you take your chances if you need a mobility device as to how close you will be able to park.

Overall I enjoyed the experience. The food was very good, though not exceptional. The atmosphere was more than Pleasant. Dinner for two with 20% tip was about $80 with two glasses of wine and one beer.
