3 of us went into Onefold on Saturday around 10am, an expected busy time of day. We stood near the door waiting patiently to be greeted. We were not. It seemed every employee was avoiding eye contact at all costs. One person in our group sat at the counter hoping for a cup of coffee while we waited for a table, where he was not acknowledged at all--he waited for more than 5 minutes. We asked someone near the register if we needed to get on a list or if we just wait until a table is available to snag. They said there is no list, when a table opens up we should take it. Shortly thereafter a table opened up. The three of us (still with no coffee, menus, service, etc) sat down at the table when an employee came over and grunted, "Did you order yet?! You can NOT sit down here unless you have ordered!" We said we had not ordered, but we were told to wait for a table. He was very perturbed with us. We left. This is unacceptable to me. Someone should have greeted us. Period. There was no, "Welcome to Onefold, heres how we do things!" I understand a busy time of day, but that should be expected and planned for. The employees all seemed flustered and uncertain. Where is the management?! Major disappointment!

Really quickly, first, the cons: it was a bit pricey, for a coffee and a breakfast. Rebuttal: if the food and experience is worth it, you can get away with that. Pros: Im from Seattle, and the coffee was solid. Not best-Ive-ever-had, but solid. I tried to order something (veggie), the lady checked with me to make sure that the duck-fat-coated-potatoes would be fine. I opted to change my order to the veggie burrito, and the lady was super chill and supportive of me finding something that worked for me, even as other people in line behind me were stressing me out. It was made quickly. I changed tables just as it was coming (because outside in the sun got to be really hot), they were super fine with that. Food was really good (even though it might not look as good as it was, in this picture). I asked about a to-go container, because it was a lot, and their immediate answer was "of course!" Easy "10/10 -- would visit again", even if veggie options on the menu without duckfat potatoes did seem to be limited.

Dear Master of Amazing Cuisine, I left your restaurant still salivating over the best smothered breakfast burrito Ive ever ate. As I drove south bound on i-25 on what was the worst traffic Ive ever seen in Denver because of all the horrible California drivers moving to Denver to swim in Marijuana... I breathed slowly and day dreamed about your melted asadero cheese slowly oozing down covering everything in its goodness. I thought back to the simpler times when food was just food. When a fine brunch was made by ingredients my simple brain could pronounce with just a couple syllables and handmade the morning it would be devoured by my hungry lips. I praise your food for being what they are and letting the star of the dish shine as it should. If I could be Scrooge McDuck and dive in your goodness every morning I would pay to do so and swim in all its goodness.

Strong on concept, not on execution. Beautiful little breakfast bar serving very good (not excellent, just very good) food at big city prices. Service and ambiance is very good by Denver standards, but the whole experience just doesnt quite achieve the big city standard that it aspires to. For these prices ($20 for cup of coffee and breakfast sandwich) everything needs to be perfect, including taking the time to pull weeds and pick up the medical waste out of the gravel in front of the shop.

This restaurant is the best breakfast place near city park. Offers amazing new options like breakfast tacos, a fantastic breakfast burrito and breakfast congee. Amazing service, music, interior feel, and overall cleanliness. Trisha has done an tremendous job improving the neighborhood food and breakfast scene! By far the most amazing breakfast tacos available in Denver, they even offer taco Tuesday, where the tacos are only $2.25 a piece. Highly recommend this outstanding restaurant.

Crepes and Vietnamese coffee are amazing is about the best I can say about this place. Im not sure where the concept open seating came from, but for a place to be successful I dont think this is a concept that works. Frustration sets in when youve been waiting a half an hour for a seat and someone takes it because they just happened to be standing by the table when someone stands up and leaves. Create a waiting list and seat people its that simple. Would not recommend on a busy day.

Went here for an early lunch and ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and a simple breakfast with sausage. My wifes opinion was that her simple breakfast needed more seasoning but I thought the breakfast burrito was delicious. I would have gotten it smothered in green chili sauce, but it would have ended up being a $16 breakfast burrito at that point which is a little crazy. Seating was also very tight which made it uncomfortable getting up to get the self-service water.

Ordered to go since it was a very small establishment. Ordered bacon fried rice... Menus said egg fried rice... Got to work to eat and sitting on top of the greasy rice was 2 half cooked... The top of the eggs were runny...slimy....both the whites & yolk.. No one asked how I wanted my eggs cooked... Do you assume the eggs are cooked in the rice like any other place serving fried rice... I threw it all away...grease & runny eggs..not the way to start the day....

Coffee is excellent - fresh brewed and delicious. Our table got the congee, breakfast burrito with carne asada, and breakfast tacos. Hands down favorite was the burrito - delicious combination of potatoes, salsa, and eggs. The tacos were mostly filled with crunchy fried potato bits, and very little meat. Maybe they ran short? Congee was a very large bowl of porridge. Well flavored, but better suited for a side than a main.

After getting burned by a coffee without a lid on properly, a friend of mine complained that the employees did not at least apologize for the instant. The owner then wrote personally on my friends instagram, calling them "entitled a-holes" that "should have learned their lessons." This is incredibly unprofessional. I will continue to file these complaints until the correct apologies have been made. Do not go to this place.

I cannot speak for the food, because I will never go to this restaurant after witnessing the way that they mistreated a customer on social media. Their lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. The owner is known for being incredibly rude to those who give the restaurant a poor review. It is immature and embarrassing. I would recommend taking your business as far away from this place as possible.

Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the flavor was good in my first meal (although it was runny & watery, the porridge), but the second meal, breakfast tacos, were 90% shredded potatoes that were chewy (and no bacon like I ordered) yet it cost $13+.. Ive waited two weeks, left two messages with whoever answered the phone, yet heard nothing back and there was no manager to speak to both times I called

I just moved to Denver, and having lived in a place recently where good food was BOUNTIFUL, I can say this place is amazing. My partner had the simple breakfast (which was good) and I had the duck friend rice. He sat the entire time, envious of my dish. It was literally the best fried rice Ive had in my life. I never knew I wanted runny yolks on my rice, but thanks to Onefold, I am converted. ;)
