It was an incredibly busy night, so Ill try to give credit where its due. The staff was up-beat amid the storm of hungry masses, still managing to offer solid, albeit slow, service. It took 15 minutes to get bread at our table, which was nearly jaw breaking it was so hard. The menu offered up some really delicious looking items but at horrifying prices. This is not a restaurant for casual eating: the cheapest item was $16, the average $20, and the upper range hit $25+. As a guy who averages $9 and change for decent meal, this was far above my price range. After waiting so long though, we were going to eat here no matter what. So I paid $18 for some tagliatelle, which amounted to a "fancy" Stroganoff. At that price I expected... more! More flavor, more food. Prepare to be disappointed. There was nothing special about my food, it tasted about as good as a bag of frozen Italian from the supermarket. Portions were embarrassingly small for everyone at the table. My girlfriend paid $20 for about 1 and 1/2 cups of Alfredo with 3 shrimp and the taste was nothing special. The food lacked the necessary wow factor to justify small portions and steep prices. The appetizer was well crafted, but small and could only tease the tastes of 4 people for $18, the price of much larger entree, which was still hardly enough to be called a meal.

The food was not bad, but the service was terrible. At an average of $25 for a dinner entrée, it should not take 50 minutes for salads to arrive at the table. When we asked the waitress when the food would be ready, instead of apologizing she simply stated that a table of 14 had arrived just before us. Not only was this not true, but even if it was is this a restaurant or what? The restaurant was not at all crowded, I would think they should be able to handle multiple patrons at the same time. She didnt offer us bread as we continued to wait. When the food still hadnt arrived we asked the manager what the problem was. She said our food would be out shortly; they were simply waiting to deliver our "first plates" (salads, I guess) before bringing out the entrées. She also did not apologize or acknowledge that waiting close to an hour after placing an order is completely unreasonable. I live in the neighborhood, and I also work 10 minutes away by foot. I have to take a lot of clients to lunch. I will never return to this restaurant, whether its for a personal meal or a business meal. The service at Panera is a better bet.

Amazing food - had the special pasta and lamb shank. So delicious! Staff was super friendly and attentive. Recommend sitting at the Chefs table if youre alone or with a couple - you get to watch the chefs work and chat with them a little. Upscale food in a comfortable, chill atmosphere. Menu changes seasonally. Gelato as good as you get in Italy! Will be bringing family here when they come into town! Great for a date night also!

This is the best Italian Ive had since moving to the Denver area. I went on a Wednesday afternoon after checking out the Air and Space museum and was very pleasantly surprised. We were onexpecting of five or so tables there and three of the tables were speaking Italian. Its always a good sign when patrons are actually from theach place the food represents!

Exceptional service. The food was delicious, but, in my opinion, overpriced for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, except when there was a problem with the flue on the wood pizza oven and the restaurant filled with smoke. The smell was overwhelming, but cleared (or we got used to it) once they opened a door. Luckily, it was a nice day out or we would have frozen!

Loved this place. Casual, great wine list, and menu so good its hard to choose! I had burrata/roasted pepper salad on grilled crostini and eggplant parmigiana. Both were delicious! Friends had pasta special and tagliatelle from the menu. All homemade pasta with delicious sauces. Well done Mercato!

Great food, the menu is a little cluttered and confusing, but if you make it past that, the waiters are really nice and helpful, and they made sure we understood the food they were offering. The place is extremely nice, and provides a nice place to sit and talk with a friend.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and helpful staff. The pizza and spaghetti were highly authentic and comparable in quality to what you might find in Southern Italy. There is tons for adults to enjoy, but our young kids were huge fans, too!

Old lady was extremely rude, scared away myself, and (unkown to her) a large table of eight colleagues. Beyond the fact we were very excited to try the food; Im sure our tab would have been over $600. Thank you old lady! Well be back =).

Upscale restaurant that is right next to the aviation museum. It is not super fancy but it is definitely a nice place. Great place for a date or entertaining friends and family. Really good food in a nice atmosphere.

I normally dont patronize Italian places but this one was really good. Excellent selection of food and drinks. Our server was a little slow and forgetful, but the appetizers and entree I had were delicious.

I like to spend time at the Market, drink a cup of coffee have a slice of cake or some pastries and chat with the locals. This place also offers excellent salads, sandwiches. A great place for a lunch brake.

First time here and food was good, wait staff slow. But the personality of the waitress made up for it, she was very nice and pleasant gal. Booze is very expensive but overall was a nice evening for sure.

Food was okay. The service sucked at best. Lots of alternative options for the sane cost. The wine waa the only bright spot.
