Tried it out this weekend with a few friends.Great atmosphere. The bar and decor are beautiful. Food was really good. we all had the roasted lamb. It was like a lamb prime rib. Very tender. The Sudan Cafe salad was fresh and tasty as was a sampler platter with the different spreads. Seems like the staff is all family. Heard the owner "Jimmy The Sudan Cafe " has everything made from scratch in house. This is the best, waiter told us that only lamb that Jimmy personally slaughters is served. Dont know how true that is but makes the place a bit more interesting if it is.

Went there a few times with friends, the breakfast was awesome. The liver is cooked to perfection, and the mint tea is a must try, along with the sugar cookies. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, he even joined our table to get to know us. Told my co-workers about the place and we made several pick up orders for lunch. Also the coffee is amazing!!!!

Great place for lunch. The bar area is where to sit. Delicious lamb pitas. Food is fresh, hot, and delicious. Great place for lunch! More of a place to hit for a casual bite on a nice day. They have a great little patio facing out on Las Olas and nice bar area all marble bar tap with ice cold AC.

The Salad is fresh, ethnic sudanese food is great as well as the Ethiopian engera. Wish it had bigger room for dinning tables. But overall taste is close to 100% if not that. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The foul (Fava beans) are the best here. If you havent had Sudanese foul this is the best place to get it. You can add some eggs and some spices to make it better.

Head on over to get a huge bag of freshly cooked injera - you can take it home and make your own African food or dine in. The owner Micky is a pleasure to talk to!
