My girlfriend had been looking forward to eating here for some time. She used to live in the neighborhood. I have lived in Denver for 4 years. My experience here, is without a doubt, the worst that I have ever had. The waitress was basically non-existent. We were 2 of 8 people in the place. We both ordered drinks and food after waiting for 15 minutes. My girlfriend receives her food. I wait...I wait...I wait. No sign of the waitress. At least 30 minutes later, the waitress stops by to check on us. I told her that I am still waiting on my calzone. She blamed the kitchen. My girlfriend is done eating 50 minutes after our arrival, so I tell her just to put it in a box to go. That is, if my food has even started to be made. She brings us boxes with our food. I ask for the check because I dont know the next time I will see her. I get home, Im starving and my calzone doesnt have the ingredients that I ordered and the cheese isnt even melted. So she forgot my order, blamed the kitchen and they made my food as quickly as possible so they could charge us before we left. There was no accountability and obviously the manager was "too busy" to apologize for bad service or offer help in any way. I paid $60 for this pathetic "experience". In summary, there are plenty of other reliable options in the area where you will be treated well. Especially for the price. I dont mind paying for good service and food. However, that will not happen here. Do yourself a favor and find another place to go!!!

Brik is very definitely not your corner pizza. It The food and service were excellent. It reminds me most of street cafe in Kiev or other parts of Eastern Europe. Like many East European cafes they are like adolescent growing changing full of new surprises daily. The menu changes daily. The salads looked wonderful, the Pizza was full of favors not buried disguised by tomato Paste. Then to add to fun is the black board which has other daily items like Pot Roast,crab cakes and Hangover Omelette. The bar is very comprehensive beer wine or other beverages. I suspect in our future visits we will explore many new tastes and experiences. If you visit here thinking it is a Pizza Hut you will be very disappointed unless if dining out you to enjoy new the ambiance and freshly prepared menu options.

My wife and I were excited to try this place out. We loved the decor of the venue and the menu looked very nice. The drinks all sounded great as well. Unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy any of it. After an hour and a half wait for a pizza, we had to ask for the bill and leave without it. We didnt get a discount on our drinks; so 18 dollars for a beer and a mixed drink with that long wait combined with our empty stomachs was a bit rough. I was pretty disappointed to be charged in full. We walked in hungry but happy at 12:30, walked out at 2:30 feeling hungry and very down. I have no doubt that we could have walked out without paying at all and no one would have noticed. Such a nice venue. Such a nice menu. Such a shame we couldnt enjoy it.

A different vibe for sure - no one is in a hurry, its not about you as the guest, not about them as the staff, just a place in time to be and live, didnt expect it, unpretentious hip joint, take it or leave it, pricey? yeah but why not spend it on something enjoyable for a change ... Was just coming through on travel but enjoyed it a great deal. Oh yead, food? Not bad at all, i could have handled it crisped up a bit more, with more garlic, majoram and capers, but then that puts me outside what people are used to here. So, in summary, all good, and glad i found this place.

This place is like home. Heck, when you check out their wine selection, it will become your home too. The owner put his soul and touch into the atmosphere of this establishment. This is one of the few places in Denver where I personally thank the chefs, and they actually humbly take it with charm. They have a wonderful talented sommelier who will make you discover a whole new level of excitement for wine and food pairings. Hands. Down. Best. Pizza. You dont get a true Italian doughy delicious crust anywhere but here. Perfection.

Walked out after waiting a ridiculous amount of time for drinks. The server talked to us four times without cleaning the table or bringing us anything. He kept apologizing for the delay, but the place was practically empty and he never did anything productive. It didnt make sense. We finally asked him if he could clean the table. We didnt see the bar tender pouring any drinks so we finally left. Its not something we ever do.

We visited last night, we had a Vegan in our party and we were all able to find something on the menu to fit all our tastes. The staff had awesome wine recommendations. The prices are reasonable. It was so much fun. The staff even helped me start my car outside the restaurant when we finished up. This place is terrific. Next time you are looking for a new place try Brik. To me this is the best restaurant on Colfax.

Garbage. I ordered a pizza and salad for delivery and couldnt have been more disappointed. The pizza not only had a burnt crust, but by time the bicycle delivery got to me it was cold. The salad came out of a bag and tasted old. Worst $40 Ive spent this week. I should have went to Cheeba Hut for a $9 sandwich. Awful

Not actually on York. Offers a "reggae night" that was more like James Taylor. I might be grateful for this place in a small Midwest college town, but for Denver, the menu and vibes are just another fake, overpriced place for white yuppies.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, the stage area especially is so well set up. Our bartender was fabulous, we loved everything she created for us, and the charcuterie plate was phenomenal, we devoured it all.
