Ive been to the PRG numerous times over the years and its a mystery to me how it draws such crowds. Maybe its that impressive deck or the regulars who after years of patronizing the place, dont know any better. My recent experience illustrated PRGs indifferent, "take it or leave it" attitude. I arrived at 6P, the first of what was to be a party of 10. Looking for someone to help us with a seating list and finding none, I saw a message on a chalkboard stating that guests were on their own and should stake out their own table. We did, and found a table that would do until the entire group arrived. Shortly after sitting down, a waiter came by and informed us the table was "reserved." I pointed out the incongruity between being told to be on your own and a reserved table in the same establishment, but was shrugged off. At a nearby table, a couple overheard our discussion and offered theirs, as they were preparing to leave. We did so and until the rest of our party arrived and we pulled over the still unoccupied, "reserved" table with some chairs to join ours. The waiter then came over and told me I wasnt supposed to do that to which I reminded him of PRGs policy: I was merely getting my own table. He claimed I was wrong about the policy and then walked away. I figured he was either poorly trained in customer service, didnt care or both and wondered how long the "reserved" table would have remained unoccupied before we claimed it for our own. Such a vacancy is a cardinal sin in the competitive restaurant/bar business, where turnover dictates. I wont be returning here again. The food is nothing stellar or inventive and when coupled with such indifferent service, you can do a whole lot better in the immediate area. The new Breckenridge Brewery is right down Santa Fe which has knockout service, food and drinks. Merles in downtown Littleton is a vastly superior choice as are a whole host of competing establishments.

Came here for and office lunch on Monday. We sat outside near where the "stage" is and had about 12 people which, for some reason, we crammed into three tables. What I found hilarious is that we had a single waiter servicing our table while many other waiters were standing around looking board and yet, ours looked a little overwhelmed. So, lets see: I ordered the jalapeno/cream cheese burger on suggestion from the waiter. I really wanted the fish tacos but was underwhelmed when I discovered they didnt come with the same accouterments as the generic soft tacos. Namely, I wanted the pico, guacamole and refried beans that came standard on the tacos - unless you wanted fish. The burger was "meh" at best. The fries werent much better. I really couldnt believe that burger (with fries) cost $12. In fact, everything on the menu was ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. I could have bought a better burger at Goodtimes or even Carls Jr for half the cost and a much better taco at a local Mexican place. Luckily the company was buying. Even though it seemed like we had a lack of people attending our party the service was actually quite nice. The waiter was attentive and our food didnt take long to arrive. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice, especially on their grand patio. It reminded me of the open-air beach side restaurants in vacation destinations. The big question is: would I return? Meh. Only if someone else wants to buy. Im personally not going to spend my money there.

Ive been here a few times and the food, drinks and service have always been ok. Nothing awesome nothing terrible. Tonight was a whole other ball game. We waited forever for a server, drinks etc. she was very apologetic and I would never write a review based on a busy server on an under staffed night. I ordered the slider for a picky toddler w no cheese. They came w cheese, I scraped it off. My daughter still wouldnt eat them. I asked if they would take them off the bill and the manager said no, it came to our table we touched it therefore he cant resell it (as if hes going to resell it to the table next door ) . He then said "you came here, ate and drank, whats the problem?" Really? They screwed up and refused to even acknowledge it or do anything about it. Its the principal, the customer is not always right but in this case I was. I find it totally disrespectful and rude as a customer to be treated that way by a manager on a power trip. There are plenty of places that serve beer and mediocre bar food that will be getting my business from now on.

I went there with my girlfriend and some co workers for happy hour a few weeks ago. The waitress takes my girlfriends id and comes back with the manager being very rude to her telling her it is a fake. After we tell them its not they say the only way she will get served is for the police to come. She and everyone else completely ignored our table for the next 30 minutes! I had to walk to the back patio to find a different waitress to ask why the rest of our table wasnt served. After lots of back and forth we finally got our drinks and chips and salsa an HOUR later. Then my girlfriend had to wait another 15 minutes for the police to come and give the ok. I understand sting operations but when a group is willing to stay for the police its obvious its not fake and you should start being nice. They ended up giving us our 1 beer a piece that took us over an hour to get for free. But too little too late. I have never been treated so poorly before!

I went here last Friday night. As it was my first time here, I did not know it was seat yourself, but all the wait staff ignored me when I tried to get their attention to ask about seating. Finally, a server told that we could sit anywhere (it was just myself and my fiancee). We sat at a table for over 5 minutes with no service, even though the server who told me to sit down walked by several times (along with several other servers). All servers avoided eye contact with us. We moved to a different table, hoping a less busy server would be waiting on this table. After sitting at the new table for a while, another couple came in and sat down at the table we had moved from. no sooner than they were pulling out their chairs, a waitress ran to get them menus. She came back with drinks for them seconds later. We had been there at least 10 minutes and no one would even look at us. We left without ever being served or even given menus.

Ill start my review by stating that I have been a bartender for 12 years, and I am very understanding and patient when it comes to workers in the industry. I was there tonight for a friends going away party, I am usually pleased with the service but tonight was a different story. I went to the bar for a drink and the bartender was very rude. She never said hello, instead it was Pull your IDs out. OKAY, she came back and asked us what we wanted, and, of course I want a specific tequila, she claims the ONLY tequila she can use for my drink is Jose, UM, I KNOW you can use whatever tequila I ask for, but I went along with it. She put about 1oz of liquor in my friends long island, never smiling once, never saying thank you, the only words that managed to come from her lips were $5.75. Ill never ever ever go there again if I see that she is working. Other than that, great experience.
