Traveled to denver for business and waiting for friends to get together. I was trying to find a cafe to work on my stuff and have some tea. The guy who served me is really rude and told me they are a total new business so they dont give out wifi password. Direct quote from him:" why cant you just enjoy the tea and we dont want people to use wifi here" its ridiculous and best luck for this business to stay any longer. Such a joke.

Super cool joint. Very LA vibe. Fashion show playing on the projector, well crafted cocktails, nice beer and wine selection and small bites. The bartenders were a little overwhelmed when we first arrived but made some solid drinks so I cannot deduct a star based on our wait for drinks. Will definitely return when looking for something a little more chill and refined. 5 stars.

My absolutely favorite neighborhood cafe. Every detail has intention put in to it, the food and coffee is delicious and the presentation is like a gift when it arrives, the energy is clear and vibrant, the space is so well designed, and the staff is so friendly. Plus gluten free petit fours and crystals strewn around? Dream come true for Colfax.

I LOVE Bar Max!! Easy-going, lounge ambience with great lighting and excellent music. The food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails are unique and super tasty (my fav is the lavender bees knees). Its a perfect place to hang out and meet new people, or catch up with good friends. Love the ambiance in this bar. Had an amazing sandwich with fig spread and my cocktail was delicious. The bartender was friendly and recommended some other drinks I need to try. Will surely return! Im from New York and I wish they had this place here. I would be their everyday.

Consistently interesting food in an open airy fresh space. Been here over six times and the service is excellent. Great coffee, tomato soup., sandwiches and deserts. Love looking at the interesting decor and murals. Im a regular for good reason!

Drinks were fantastic! Our bartender was so friendly and funny. We also had tomato soup and a variety of sandwiches, cheese plates and salads for dinner. Everything was delicious and the space was very hip. Would definitely come back!

Not your typical denver bar vibe so a nice place to switch things up. I went here as part of the passport program and wouldnt otherwise go back and visit again, but only because it wasnt my scene. Overall good drinks! Did not eat here

This is one of the coolest bars in Denver. Quaint mid century living room feel and great cocktails. Definitely a must visit for anyone living in the area. Staff is also top notch the owner is great too.
