My first and only visit here was riddled with problems and issues from the start. We were arriving with a party of 8, and I arrived 30 minutes ahead of time to get on the list for a table as it was a Saturday night at 7pm, and I was told the wait would be about an hour, which was fantastic as the rest of my party was going to be here in about 45 minutes, which I told the hostess and she said that was good. I was given my little pager and went outside. Nearly 5 minutes later it went off and our table was ready, which was somewhat comical. 2 of us were seated and waited patiently. For the next half hour about every 5 minutes we were asked about the rest of our party which became increasingly annoying. Eventually we ordered some appetizers of which I got the Cheese Burger Egg Rolls. I asked the server what was in them, and I was told it was a normal burger with cheese. Great. When they came they were mostly soggy and falling apart and covered in what I could only describe as pico de gallo salsa, wasnt mentioned nor listed on the menu description, which with food allergies didnt work, so that was completely inedible and a loss of $8. Eventually I ordered the Fried Cheese Burger with the prime "Wagyu" beef. After 30 minutes I received the wrong burger that I couldnt even identify, I went back and forth with the waiter over what it should be, and got a new burger. 20 minutes later my new burger arrived that was also incorrect but now with a fried cheese stick on it. At this point I just ate and let it be. After some research my party and I determined that I had received the "5280 prime" burger both times, instead of the Fred Cheese burger with prime beef. After an hour of getting the wrong food I still had to pay for my burger which was more expensive than I wanted to order and didnt even like what I received. Overall my chances of returning are somewhat small, but I would give it another chance..the strawberry milkshake was awesome.

Coming in from Oklahoma, my fiancé and I wanted to eat somewhere new and in a nice area of Denver. We saw this place online and decided we will give it a go. Coming in its a really nice place, nice bar, and a unique atmosphere. We sat down and waited about 10 to 15 mins to get our drink orders. Didnt really mind the wait since I am new to the area so it gave me some time to look at the drink and food menus however if I was a regular patron it would have been an annoying wait. The server finally helped us and was pretty quick with getting out our drinks and food. My fiancé ordered the "Ring of Fire" and when she got it she took a few bites and realized that her burger was COVERED in seeds from the peppers. She started to pick some of the seeds out and our server saw this as he was walking by and yelled and I mean like shouted to his other co-workers "hey look 2 bites in and she is already taking the peppers off!" Not exactly what you would like to hear when your trying to enjoy the food you paid for. Obviously she got offended and so did I. It was like he thought we wouldnt hear him but he shouted it liked right behind our booth. It kinda just put a damper on the rest of the visit at this establishment. I wish I got the servers name so I could have made an actual complaint to the manager but we just wanted to get out of that place asap. We went and had a few more beers before heading home somewhere else.

I had just flown in from DC and was starving. They seated me quickly and Clay, the owner, came over to walk me through his favorites on the menu, telling me about the sourcing for the ingredients and what all was made in house. He brought me a soup to tide me over while I read the menu, along with four beer samples. What a nice guy. So glad he brought some of those Texas flavors with him up from Austin. My waiter, Kelly, was super attentive to me, he had a kickass mustache and was very accommodating. I ended up going all out--getting the "i cant decide," had a three-cheese beef slider and a the Baja Colorado with fries. Definitely a filling meal, but so good! The bread was fresh, the burgers were perfectly cooked, the fries were so crispy, hot, and fresh! The meal hit the spot. I ended up pairing it with the winter warmer beer, which was delicious. Then, stuffed to my gills though I was, I mentioned to Kelly that I just wanted to taste the ice creams. I listed off SIX flavors and he brought me samples of them all. The cinnamon toast crunch was good, the butter pecan was delicious, the Oreo was fantastic! The vanilla was noms, the chocolate was amazing. The toasted marshmallow however, was mindblowing good. Im not even that hungry but I ordered chocolate and marshmallow to go just so I can make coworkers taste it. This was an outstanding meal and a great welcome to Colorado!

lots of unique burgers to choose from, as well as an option to create your own! i am always indecisive so i was glad to see the i-cant-decide option where you can choose 2 specialty burgers and get them in slider form for $12.95 (burgers range from $10-15 so it seemed fair). the sliders were pretty small though and not too memorable. the meat, although cooked well, was on the bland side. the buns were also too hard and made for a incohesive experience. we got the hamburger egg roll appetizer though, and that was good! i kind of want to try making them at home! for $18, id much rather swing by hopdoddy and get a much bigger/better and more flavorful burger + a nutella shake for less money. 5280 does get some brownie points for location though, and the attached ice cream shop is worth checking out (they also have their own rendition of a nutella shake)!

We went here on a Saturday night after discovering that the restaurant we had planned on eating at was no longer in business. It was Saturday, so it was busy, but we were seated quickly (less than 10 minutes). In fact we had just ordered a beer at the bar when we were told our table was ready. The choices on the menu all sounded great! It is a burger bar, but you have the option of changing the burger to chicken or quinoa. I had the "deep fried" burger and it was amazing! My husband had the "Durango" (I think) and said it was wonderful too. I dont think you could go wrong with any of the choices. We also tried the jalapeno appetizer, and it was just as delicious. The fries came out hot and crispy. Save room for ice cream, as it was worth the calories! We will be back.

Unsere Cocktails waren gut gemacht. Die Burger waren echt spitze. Beim Restroom besteht noch Optimierungspotential. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder essen.

Overall, the food was great. The house made hamburger buns and the meat were both very good. Unfortunately, once seated, we sat for 15 minutes before finally asking someone if we have a waiter for our section. They told us our waitress was in the restroom and would be right back. The waitress which came to our table had been walking around right in front of us the entire time. Once we finally had her attention, we ordered beers and food, which we enjoyed. With empty beers in front of us, we watched as our waitress repeatedly went to the bar to talk with friends and eat some take out food instead of stopping in to check on us. Overall, good food but lousy service. We decided to leave and go to Yard House to finish watching the football game.
