**UPDATE- Corporate got involved and had the "owner" call me back today and he tells me, "I told you they were only going to send me an email". Which he did tell me yesterday when I asked for corporates number, then he starts back tracking on what he said yesterday, now hes saying he never said that my family couldnt have gotten sick at the restaraunt and has now changed his statement to "most" cases dont start until 24-48 hours later. I am beyond done and was not about to get into an argument with this person. Golden Corral, you really need to step it up and step in. FYI this place gave me and my entire family food poisoning. Went here in the early afternoon and now all 5 of us are sick. I wanted to make them aware of the situation as we live in different households and its not a coincidence that all of us get sick after eating at the same restaurant. So i called them, asked to talk to the manager, who told me that I "couldnt have gotten sick there because food bourne illness does not occur until 24-48 hours later." However, none of us have been in contact with each other for over 3 weeks. He then proceeded to tell me I was trying to get him to accept blame, and then proceeded to call me a lair and when I asked for his name all he gave me was Chris. I asked who his boss was and he said he was the owner and refused to give me his last name. I will NEVER go this establishment again and have reported them to the tri county health department.

I like the food here, despite what others have said. Yeah, youre not going to like everything, but it is clean and if youre there when it is busy, the food is fresh. Ive been to a number of other Golden Corrals around the state and this one does have the worst presentation of the food. It would be good if the mgmt took a trip down to Colorado Springs for some inspiration on how to display the food. The seating is sub-optimal because youre so close to others and often cleaning equipment (brooms and dustpans) are left near the tables -- which, I think is gross. I still give this 4 out of 5 stars however, because overall the food is good. Our family has been here so many times that we know most of the wait staff by name -- and theyre great too. I would bump it up to a 5-star rating if a couple of changes to seating were made (give a bit more room) and (more so) the food was displayed in a better way. PS. Luis, the guy who was called out as "rude" below, isnt. Look, hes just a guy like any other trying to take care of his family. The fact that theres a big demand for rare (not rear... lol) meat and sometimes a language barrier, doesnt make him a rude guy. After being there a few times, he knows my wife prefers hers cooked well done and after seeing her, he butterflies a piece of steak in anticipation of her request -- thats customer service.

Would rate this zero stars if I could. I love the Golden Corral near me, on Arapahoe, my family and I go all the time. But, we decided to try a different Golden this time. My first complaint is when I first entered the place and found a seat. I went to take a sip from my drink, and noticed a piece of brown "food" or something strange inside of my cup. This either means that the employees here dont wash their cups, or their dishwasher sucks. I was very hesitant to even grab a plate of food, worrying if something else appeared on my dishes. Another complaint is, at the end of my meal, I went over to the dessert area to get some chocolate-covered strawberries. I eyeballed the strawberries, and discovered that half of them were moldy! I know mold when I see it, so this was no mistake. I was very frightened and concerned with the quality of their food, now. My final problem was as another reviewer, Michael Paulson, stated, that a certain room in the building smelled like vomit. Even 9 months later, the room continued to smell like vomit. Im completely disgusted with this place, and never going again.

My son kept telling us how great this place was. I always went to Country Buffet which is great. So I figured Id try it. My husband did not want to go there he had heard bad stuff. We went and I really wanted my husband to be wrong but he wasnt. First off the staff is rude, period. Secondly the food, omg, so bad. Everything we ate was bad and I usually try small amounts of everything. I couldnt believe how bad it was. Dirty, very dirty place, they let kids run amok, and ruin everything. Talk about a "ghetto" restaurant. If your looking for that, well go here then. Horrible and I will never go back. A side note: The Country Buffet in Aurora was so much better and it closed. Better change it up Golden Corral in Aurora, because honestly, Id put my money on you closing soon also.!!! Ugh.

I have been there several times. At first, it was "OK", but seen much better. Then over the last two years, seems to be getting worse. The layout is terrible. The salad bar reaches back into a narrow path and begins to smell like garbage the further you go back. I have seen a garbage can holding the walk in cooler open. I complained to the manager about that and he did do something about it. The managers there are really nice. But the food is still bad. Last night, paid $50 for two adults, one child and a senior citizen. Result? Very tough meat, chicken was tough and the chicken wings were so tough I had to warn another gentleman who filled his plate up with them. He later told me he couldnt eat them either. This could do a restaurant makeover.

I think its kind of a low-life bait and switch. Free Veterans day appreciation meal (small print: 6 days from now, Monday 11/17). Why didnt they just pick Thursday, Dec. 4? We take some Vets out for lunch on Veterans Day (the official one) every year so we know were going to be paying because it lunch. There were 4 Vets in line in front of us that were quite surprised theyd have to pay. They grumbled a little, as they should, then paid and had lunch. Man, that just seems kind of slimy really, a bait and switch for sure. I know I was rather disgusted. I doubt (no, I know I wont) Ill eat here again till next Vet Day (maybe itll be on Halloween or sometime in September 2015) when we take the old timers out again. Definitely a scuzzy move. Boooooo

Always good service! My family drags me along every weekend, All the employees are very kind. To all those other comments, yes there are bathrooms. Yes there is a lot bilangual people, but literlly almost all the staff SPEAK ENGLISH. I do feel bit offended to those other comments. If I am misunderstanding, that is a mistake from my part, but they sound fairly raicist. I agree with Revvy Phennex!! Anywho, I love the service, it may be packed, but the waiters/waitresses have always been very kind. They always do theyre best to help others. Also about the vomit smelling room, Its a new room. Ive going to golden corral since I was 7 & know for a fact that room is new. It use to be the entrance where you pick up plates, drinks, pay, etc.
