The young inexperienced cashier needed more training to handle pressure properly when trying to handle a customers request to honor a coupon that was delivered to the customer. The coupon showed a discount for hot tea and their flyer at the counter had a higher price. He was told that other future customers may confront the cashiers about the discount. More remedial customer service training is needed for him and others who may have trained him. The hostess sat the customers at a table across from a parent with loud and undisciplined children that had walked on the boths bench. Customer service skills need to be enhanced to all hosts and hostess to ask the customer where the would like to sit. After a busy day at work many customers dont feel like hearing loud and undisciplined children. The waitress did not interact well enough with the customers to offer any needs. The customer had to ask for water and a clean cup. Afterwards the waitress should have kindly asked if their was anything else that they could do for them. The waitress may not speak much English as she was from some oriental country and had no to very little verbal interaction with customers. More customer service training is needed for waiters and waitresses. The carpet looks old and worn as if they kept it from the former Country Buffet restaurant. Also, the carpet was dirty and it never looked like it was vacuumed anytime throughout the day. This would not help if they still have mice running loose in the restaurant. The customer did report a mouse to the manager at the former Country Buffet restaurant of a mouse that ran under one of the buffet tables. The manager said that theyve been having a mice problems and thanked the customer for the information and said that they would have the exterminator return. The beef was very dry and should have been cooked better. The mens restroom was dirty. The mirror and sink counter were filthy as if they hadnt been cleaned all day. The trash cans liner was collapsed, the floor did not look swept nor mopped. Dirt and debris was on the floor and in the crevices of the floor mats. Four cigarette butts were found on the floor under and behind the last toilet in the mens restroom. At the Habachi grill the cashier man had come over and cooked some eggs and vegetables without a head covering. Two cooks who had stood next to him did have theirs on. One had a ball cap and the other a type of doo rag. This was about 4:00 in the afternon + or -. If their security cameras were working the health department can view the head covering violations for cooking without a head covering. First impressions to any eating establishments are paramot if the establishment wants customers to return and give it a good review. Everyone should check these problems out for themselves. We will not be returning!!!

*Please read it all* If I had the option of giving no stars I would go ahead and do it. We had such high hopes for this restaurant. We got here around 6:30 05/01 and had to wait fifteen minutes because there were " no open tables". This wouldnt have been an issue with me as Ive worked as a waitress for the past three years, I get it. But all of these "unavailable" tables were covered in dirty dishes that nobody had bothered to clean up yet. The bathrooms looked like a war zone, with dirty floors and no soap, it was hard to tell when they had been lasted been clean. Finally, after waiting to be seated, we arrive at a wet table with dirty seats, and a floor covered in noodles, bread, and fries from the people who had previously eaten there. We immediately asked for another table, as we did not just pay $60 dollars to eat at a dirty table, littered in trash. Next we were told they had run out of Pepsi, so they offered us bottled drinks with no refills, even tough we paid for them, our other fountain drinks tasted watered down, clearly they had not checked them and it took them 20 minutes to get our water. The food is nothing spectacular, the counters were dirty and there were plates of food laying around. All of the tables around us were covered in dirty plates, no one bothering to clean them. The hot wings were sweet, the hibachi sauces were all too sweet, and the sushi bar counter was messy, covered in all sorts of sauces. The floor throughout the restaurant was covered in food that had been mashed into the carpet. Our waitress was sick and having a very hard time keeping up with her tables and maintaining any sort of order. We truly felt sorry for her. Over all not the greatest of experiences and now after reading other reviews I truly hope we dont end up in the hospital or with food poisoning. Its not worth it, such a disappointment.

This was our first visit. And 2 of the 4 of us who ate here last night ended up sick throughout the night. My two children, ages 15 and 13 years old were up heaving/throwing up, and glued to the toilet most of the night. I also had a stomach ache, but it did not get worse than that. I was not all that hungry and did not eat a lot, so I suspect that was why. Definitely will NOT go back. The place was dirty, your shoes stuck to the floor as you tried to walk around. And the food was meh at best. But what is most concerning is the food poisoning my 2 teenage children had as a result of eating here. That is extremely worrisome and it should be inspected and shut down. * I called and asked to speak to the Manager once the restaurant opened the next day, and a female stated she was. I tried to explain the events from last night and how sick my 2 children were still this morning. I explained that the two sick kids both had fresh fruit and also shrimp. She was only half listening, and helping customers in the background. She immediately stated she did not think it was because of their food, because no one else was reporting getting sick. I asked if there had been any other calls or reports, she claimed there had not been. I explained to her that they both had severe stomach pain, and all symptoms of food poisoning, and had been fine prior to eating there, and had not eaten anything since eating there. She stated, "well I do not know what to tell you, other than to take them to the doctor, I am not sure how else I can help you." She was disinterested, extremely rude, did not even offer an apology. I told her we would not be returning again, and I would write a review to warn other people. Unless you want to get sick or risk your children being violently ill from food poisoning, I would advise finding somewhere else to eat.

The food, either lunch or dinner, is not too bad. I have eaten at this certain buffet over 6 times now at different times of the day. Ranging from right when they open to late at night closer to closing time. You can find your normal buffet acuthermal here. Ranging from a salad and cold pasta bar to baked clams and hibachi chicken. The sushi is what youd expect from a place charging $11.99 a person at dinner time. Its basic, small and not something all sushi lovers will appreciate. The biggest complaint I have is the staff. You find all walks of life in the restaurant. Most of the staff, including management, are only doing the bare minimum. When I say the bare minimum I mean they are inconsiderate, rude and unaware of their surroundings. Everytime I have visited this buffet, the people that greet you only care about your money and shoving you into a dirty booth. The waiters and waitresses are hit or miss. Either they care about serving you out they dont. No in-between. Because of the lack of customer service and quality in the ingredients used, I am giving this place a 3 out 5 stars. I just got back from their lunch buffet and found a black hair in the Hibachi Chicken. I asked to speak with the manager and was greeted by the cashier. I showed her the hair in my food and asked for my money back as well as told her I had taken a photo of the hair. She said, " If you dont post the photo on social media Ill give you your money back." I told her that was blackmail and asked for my money back so I could leave and never come back.
