It deserves 5 star. So far I have ate at many Indian restaurant in North part of cali, the Taj in Yuba city has been my favorite. Very clean and neat place. Spacious. Tatse is great than any other restaurant so far I have ate. Buffet just @ $8 and you get ★Fish fried pakoda, chicken tandoori, samosa, tikki, onion bhaji, butter chicken, mutton curry, paneer butter masala, makhani, veg biryani, salad, 2 sweets and choice of roti.★ After Sacramento if you are traveling north Cal, I will suggest to avoid "Priya" restaurant and better go THE TAJ - trust me its the best.

I have been to the taj multiple times but when I went yesterday omg. They served my family uncooked rice. When we asked for another plate of rice that was cooked they gave us another uncooked rice plate. The water tastes so bad not filtered. I went to the bathroom and checked same water. We got soda instead and got FLAT soda. They had drunk people sitting at the bar and didnt move them somewhere else even though they were bothering people around us.

no stars atall pissed offf no worth of food especially. Buffets everything they organized and show very well food looks delicious but its old dont go on what it show go on what it tastes food is atleast 2-3 days old and you can feel it when you dare to eat my personal choice perferrably go to bombay lounge the taste india its more better cause lot more room and great dine in

I used to go to this place all the time. But its changed under new management. Meals are different, taste different, and cost more. I usually always pay $10 for the chili chicken dinner. Came with rice, naan, sole type of fried chip. I ordered the same, get home and its just the chicken and onions. Thats it. How is that dinner? Gotta find some where new unfortunately.

The Taj has always been my go to and it was an okay place but since Tuesday they have a new chef and this time he was the one who made my food it was absolutely amazing! Perfect blend of spices and the right amount of just everything!
