A group of my friends and I went to this restaurant for dinner. There were seven of us in total, and we called in advance to let them know. When we got there, there was a table available for us. Unfortunately, this was about where the good service ended. We had several difficulties while ordering our dinners. One of us attempted several times to order a side of cheese naan, with no success. When the food arrived, we had several issues getting the correct naan with our curries, and it took about ten minutes to get the four orders sorted out. At this point, one of our friends didnt have their order. The plain naan was burnt and the garlic naan was overly soggy. When we finally managed to order the cheese naan, it was stuffed with cilantro and had an overpowering taste because of this. About half an hour after the rest of us got our food, the final member of our group got theirs. It was, unsurprisingly, incorrect. Instead of mango chicken (something which my friend had pointed to on the menu and said at least five times) it was mango chutney. Mango chutney, if you dont know, is basically a sauce or dip, not a full entree. At this point, we got ahold of an employee who spoke better English and corrected our order. All in all it was a stressful and awkward dining experience, and we ended up missing the start of an event we were attending. On the plus side, their curries were good and the food was fairly affordable.

WRONG business hours posted! Website says open from 11:30 until 2:30pm got there at 2pm and was confused when i walked up and they were closing up and i was told they closes at 2pm on Saturday??? I walkes outside ans looked at the door and it clearly states they close at 2:30 went back to inquire about there posted business signs and 5yhe lady just shrugs her shoulders and states they close at 2pm as it looked like a grouo of them were getting ready ro go out somewhere..not an issue but dont waste peoples time with driving over there finding and PAYING for parking seeing as this restaurant is in downtown area and they do not have a parking lot! Not good customer service AT ALL and i will not be back left a very bad taste in my mouth. So be forewarned about there actual fluctuating times if you plan on going anywhere near closing.

Absolutely a wonderful place; at the lunch buffet pricing, you cant go wrong. Went with my co-worker for lunch and their selection is incredibly diverse with plenty to choose from- more than enough to eat and everything tasted FRESH. Delicious place and they continuously refill the trays before they run out (some places only refill after they have run out and youre left with the meager tiny bits). The Naan is probably the best Ive ever had. Crisp, fresh, delicious. The garlic Naan is a must. You probably wont be able to talk to a loved one after due to the smell, but its well worth it. Will be back! Do note they do not have a dinner buffet (sadly) but food is still the same, I would rather come for their buffet price and selection!

I read all the reviews before trying out this place and I was so disappointed. Another place that tried to broaden its appeal to the broader palate and horribly missed. The curries are watery, the tandoori chicken dry and tasteless, the Nan - stiff and dry, the Garlic naan - Half cooked, the tikka masala - just tomatoey. I would have been happy if the food was barely passable - but it wasnt. I dont know where they went wrong - but if you like Indian cuisine - stay away. Last time I was here, I tried Shalimar, and of the things I ordered, they got the tandoor right. So - if you eat here, know you are missing Indian cuisine by a mile. The only thing this spot shares with Indian cuisine is the name.

I will come back and do a more in depth review. For now I will say that Manny does an awesome job and has some of the best Indian food Ive ever had, between California, New York and London! The flavors are perfectly balanced. The buffet is absolutely wonderful (and buffets can be an indication of the rest of the menu). He rotates dishes, and the buffet is a great deal. All the buffet items rock, and the restaurant is usually very busy during the lunch hour. My plans in the coming months are to have dinner there and review that. I already know its going be superb. Visit this restaurant!

Last night we went to Curry Club for dinner. We were a party of three in town for a conference and walked over from the convention center (about 5-10 minute walk, depending upon how fast you want to take the mostly tree-lined route). The food was excellent -- we only had vegetarian options, all of which were delicious. The food was served promptly (but, not so fast that it felt "fast food"). The decor was lovely (esp. for a restaurant that is a bit cozy). The staff was friendly and we even had a chance to chat with the owner for a while. All told, HIGHLY recommended!

The restaurant hits all the Indian cuisine highlights, from aloo tikka (spiced potato patties) to chicken vindaloo. Not sure what to order? Then opt for one of the specials which provide a nice assortment of treats. The tndoor mixed-grill sizzler, for instance, includes tandoori chicken, boti kabob, seekh kabob, fish tikka, naan and rice.

Lunch buffet is awesome with equal meat and vegetarian options. Very friendly service and nice, relaxing atmosphere. The $10 per person price for the buffet should be more, but whos complaining, right? I would love to come back for dinner sometime soon to compare the quality and portions. Definitely a winner!

Delicious food and great hospitality! Pricing is a little more than I would want to pay for the portioning, but I think its comparable to other Indian restaurants. What really made the dinner special was just how kind, accommodating, and thoughtful our server/host was. We felt like family. Ill be back.

Loved every dish we had! Saag (palak) paneer and masala chicken!!!! The atmosphere is nice and intimate, quiet, and the staff is attentive and polite. The price isnt terrible for the good food here. Lastly, they have a lunch buffet, Ill be back to try that and get a little of everything.

Best Indian food Ive had in CA. Ive only ordered delivery, but everything comes prompt and as specified in the order. My go-to is the chicken korma with extra veggies added, SO good. All the naan Ive ordered has been delicious too. Be warned, their spicy means spicy.

More like 4 star food, but great value, good service and easy & quick can push it up to 5 for me. Enough choices for a vegetarian, but solid meat dishes too. Fresh naan served to your table. Really nice owners. They even have multiple deserts! Whats not to like.

Stopped off on our way from Tahoe...5kids...and everyone got what they wanted. Mango Lassi hit the spot. Clean and cute decor. The owner was super attentive...with 5kids....we got seated and served real fast. Would definitely come back.

Buffet-style curry place that is very affordable. Its about a block away from Capitol Park, which makes it a convenient and popular business crowd lunch spot. Their beef vindaloo is a standout. Only drawback is a small-ish seating area.
