Since I havent really been eating much I thought it was best to have breakfast. Yelped breakfast around the brea/Whittier area and this place popped up. It wasnt that far and they had bacon, eggs and pecan pancakes. Nom nom nom Thats exactly what I ordered I checked us in for the waitlist and we still had to wait another 25 minutes. I dont know what the point is to put yourself in the list if you still have to wait. Great server, she was great, attentive and friendly. I ordered 1/2 order of the potato pancakes, I love them so I wanted to try em. $1 less They were a little thick and a bit too crispy but ok for trying. I dont really like apple sauce on mine just sour cream :) I ordered the bacon and eggs an upgraded my pancakes for pecan pancakes for an extra $1. I highly recommend doing that. I love pecan waffles, pecan pancakes, pescan pecan...... They were pretty great. They also offer this "tropical syrup" which tats like zesty sugar water lol. I prefer the regular syrup with my pancakes The strawberry pancakes were also good, but not super fluffy like others Ive had. The bacon, man the BACON, yes the my give you a bunch and they are thick. I plan on making a blt later. $10 for the dish which is a great price. Coffees nice and strong. Clean Plenty of parking but in weekends its packed.

Best blueberry pancakes in the world! Staff is great. There is always a wait, so plan ahead for that. Can be 20 mins to over an hour. This particular location has the best coffee mugs Ive seen from an Original Pancake House, but they were out of stock so I could not buy one. Plus people keep stealing them from their tables, so that hurts their stock too. Bottom line: if you have never been to an Original Pancake House, do yourself a favor and go enjoy some of the best pancakes around. My personal Al favorites are the blueberry or the Big German (just trust me when I say dont add anything to the Big German but the lemon and powdered sugar it comes with. #lifechanging

First off if your a claustrophobe like me it is a very small place to eat if you like eating in a small walk in closet. The food isnt worth the hype anymore. What I mean by this is that when I was a kid on vacation with my family and I used to stop by the pancake house all the time; I have a lot of fond memories of the large portions of fluffy goodness I used to eat. Now as an adult I recently went to the pancake house expecting nostalgic memories to come flooding back to me. Well lets just say the portions of the food have not changed as for the the deliciousness I once remembered as a kid on tgose family vacation trips long ago stayed long ago.

OPH as we like to call it in our family is a special treat. Truly the best breakfast place in all of Whittier. Dont play yourself, download the no wait app. Its amazing. Top three things to get there. 1 Orange Juice. Its pricey but worth it, if you love fresh squeezed. 2. Bacon, it is out of this world. 3. Hash browns, cooked with butter in a cast iron pan. A must have. The portions are large here, so my wife and I usually order a bacon and eggs with an side of eggs and split the bacon and hash browns. Way cheaper. Excellent choices all around. You gotta give this place a shot.

Go early. No wait. Ordered the country fried steak with gravy over easy eggs and a side of hash browns all very good and flavorful. The coffee was to die for and ask for flavored creamers as they are a few but they give you at a time. Around 830ish in a Sunday more and more people start to come in. Sylvia was are waitress and she was great. Always coming around and asking if we needed anything and asking if we would like refills in are coffee which we did. Will be back soon.

Horrible service amd wait time. As for the food i cant comment, got up walked out after waiting 45min after our order was taken by the server she came over and said she forgot to put our order in. By the time the food was ready our baby was tired of waiting so we got up and left. Total time we waited before we left was 2hrs no food only the nastiest coffee I have ever had.. If the coffee Isnt good I wonder if the food is? Thanks for waisting our time!

I ordered the chocolate pancakes and they just didnt sit too well with me. I took half home and ate the rest just fine later on. It was very busy but we got in right away. The staff was experienced with the amount of people and we were attended by several people because of this. Im sure the each type has its own following but I did not like mine so well. Maybe next time Ill get actual meat with it and see.

Seating managemet, HORRIBLE. Hostesses are clueless and seating is wholly arbitrary. This may not seem l8ke a huge concern until you see the wait times and see similar sized parties arrive after you and get seated ahead of you. They say success breeds arrogance and that is certainly the case here. Food is good but service ruins the experience. We will be sticking to Scottys- better food and amazing service.

Love this restaurant... We used to go to the Anaheim location exclusively. Great food and service and the new location is great. Parking and ease of access is a definite improvement. The new La Habra location is also more modern than the one in Anaheim. Quality however remains the same. Next time your in town... Be sure and stop by for breakfast!

This place is awful! Food is ok, but the service, management and ownership is a joke! With leadership of Colleen the manager and Rachelle the owener, no wonder service is so bad, lead by example I guess. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! There are so many other great places to go. Try Scottys on Scott Ave, way better than this place.

Prepare to eat breakfast and thats it since The Pancake house closes at 2pm. I love the potato and Swedish pancakes here. They use real eggs and the ingredients are really fresh. A great place to go. The bacon is thick and very good. All my friends love the hashbrowns as well.

If your looking for amazing pancakes look no further...this place has the best buttermilk pancakes. I cant describe how fluffy and delicious they are in words so you have to go for yourself. And they have different types of pancakes as well. Swedish, crepes, etc.

First and only time. The service was great but the food wasnt very impressive :/ the crepes look like burt cheese, and the buttermilk pancakes was like if I got them at McDonalds. The only thing I like food wise, was the bacon omlete. Bacon in every bite:D

Had a great experience here. The food was delicious! I highly recommend you get the apple pancake. It will take about 30 mins to back but its made fresh with apple slices in it! Our server was Yolanda and she was so nice and friendly. Thank you.

Very good service. I had the vegetarian omelette and it was the best veggie omelette Ive ever had. It came with buttermilk pancake too. Make sure to get the Nowait app before you come, because there were 30 parties in front of me before going.
