We passed by Tampopo before and was curious about this ramen restaurant. They werent too busy on Friday night. We were seated immediately. *Tampopo Ramen & Spicy Tuna Roll Set | $10.99* Dr. P ordered the Tampopo Ramen with spicy broth plus spicy tuna roll set. He loves the ramen and broth. He said it was better than some of the Japanese ramen joints. (This is a Korean owned restaurant.) *Tampopo Ramen & Sesame Chicken Set | $11.99* I also ordered the Tampopo Ramen with spicy broth, but with sesame chicken. They forgot to add the cha-shu to my ramen. I told the waiter, and they brought two pieces of cha-shu to the table right away. The ramen, just like Dr. P said, was very flavorful and tasty. The soup just had the right amount of spicy and quite addicting. The ramen was cooked al-dente. The sesame chicken was juicy and tender. Love it. It also came with a side salad with sesame dressing. The owner probably felt bad about messing up the order. She was really nice and offered us free radish kimchi. We really enjoyed the food at Tampopo. Service was very friendly. Will definitely return shortly to try their other dishes. I am going to try their curry katsu rice next time!

I went in order a tampopo set the set comes with a ramen, fried rice, and 3 gyoza, I didnt want the fried rice so I ask if I could switch it to something else, the lady first said no, then I told her if I could get more gyoza she said yes I would get 6, when she brought it out only had 4 I was I thought you said 6 is fair for the fried rice but then she said no. I just walked out no an honest type of business.

Ramen was great for price and proportion. The Tampopo ramen was good but didnt have enough flavor. I added some chile and soy sauce and loved it after. Im usually a shoyu eater but this was great. Ill be back for sure as its the closest ramen shop to East Whittier. Good combo specials.

I ordered the California roll set. It came with 4 California rolls and ramen. great food in general is pretty good. also saw the special for fried rice decided to order it and put in the soup tastes even better

This is one of the best authentic ramen in Buena Park. The lady owner is very nice, she greets her customers every table. I love coming back here even during summer.

Great Lil Place Its a small location but has wonderful food & great service. From ramen to katsu and lots of stuff in between. Love their tempura and donkatsu.
