Café Mundial is a great restaurant. My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here recently (9-25-15). The owner, John, is very fair. When looking for a place to have our rehearsal dinner we were surprised by how many local restaurants have a fee or a minimum amount to have a large party. I kept thinking to myself, “Why are all these places charging more money to have a night a good business?” I felt like they didn’t want my business. Well, that is not how John operates. He gave us sole use of a private (and very nice) room of his restaurant, let us bring in a cake for dessert, charged us for only what was ordered, and even worked with us on the price. All our guests were VERY impressed with the food and the ambiance. The service was tremendous. My wife and I could not have been happier with how the evening turned out. Mike, the bar manager, worked with us to pick wine for our dinner. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He took the lead on the night of our rehearsal dinner and made sure everything went smoothly. Mike did an exceptional job! If you are looking for a place to host a large dinner – look into Café Mundial. Great food, ambiance, and location for a reasonable price – what more could you want? Seriously, the food is so good that even after we had all the details set for our rehearsal dinner, we kept coming back in just to eat dinner (and have already been back since our wedding). For a large dinner party or a small romantic meal, Café Mundial is a great spot!

Most uncomfortable seats wife and I have ever sat in. They force your upper body forward so there is absolutely no relaxing. Wine was cheap. Tuna that came out on seared ahi app was of very low quality. The menu is lacking tremendously also. We canceled our entrees and walked up the street to Devon.
