I have been going to Kisho in Valencia for seven years and have always been very happy with the service, atmosphere, and most importantly the quality of the food. Recently I went with a few friends to the new Budda Bar in the back and we ordered drinks and appetizers. One of the appetizers we ordered was a yellowtail sashimi plate. When it came it was buried underneath onions and vegetables and when we looked for the pieces of fish, there were only five very small pieces of low quality sashimi with skin left on and very fishy tasting. We called the manager Jung over, and he said that since we had eaten three of the pieces that he could not do anything about it. I was quite shocked. I didnt want him to comp our entire bill or anything, but I would have thought he would at least not charge us for a low quality dish or at least replace the order with better quality fish. I told him that Kisho was one of my favorite sushi restaurants and why wouldnt he want to keep long-time customers happy. I asked him if he was willing to lose a long-time customer over a small amount of money because he would not stand behind the quality of his food. He said "Yes" with a big smile on his face. That makes me very sad because I did enjoy going there, but I can never go to a restaurant that will not put customer satisfaction and quality of food served as a priority.

This place is bar far subpar. We have had ok experiences here in the past, but today was the last. We were seated in the lounge, in the bar area, but against the far wall. We were surprised when the temperature suddenly went cold as the bus staff were moving chairs and tables out of the room. We tried to be patient, but after ten minutes of feeling like we were outside, I had had enough. I asked for the manager to come, but we were met by an arrogant, tall skinny asian who could care less about how we felt. He said that if we didnt like it then we could move, but the way he said it wasnt apologetic, rather it was expected of us to do it or else. Wouldnt recommend their food or their service. Multiple times we were waiting without drink and food. And if you want to complain about their manager, good luck. According to him, there is no one above him that you can complain to.

I have been a long time customer of Kisho. Unfortunately I went there at 9:15pm, and was told they were closed. There was still at least 30 people eating in different sections of the restaurant. The sign says they are open till 9:30 as does their website. With this economy I would think they would have gladly enjoyed taking my $90 worth of takeout....and $40 worth of drinks. So we went to another Sushi place that gladly took our money. If Kisho "Cho Cho San" is going to close before 9:30 they should change theyre times on the sign and web. I will not be wasting my time their anytime soon!

Went here for my daughters birthday since she wanted hibachi and this was the closest. This place was great all around. Inside temp was a little chilli being from a warmer place but the food and entertainment was great. Filled up before I even got the teriyaki chicken but still had to keep eating it because it tasted so good. They printed the birthday picture quick and all of the service was fantastic. Will definitely go back if ever in the area again.

Food was good like always thanks to the cooks. The waiter was horrible. Asked for a Sushi menu at the beginning didnt get it until the end, let the waiter know twice it was a friends birthday THE MAIN REASON for coming to Kishos, never got the special celebration for his birthday. Very disappointed with the service for our law enforcement friends bday. Looks like we will be finding a new spot for birthday celebrations.

We have been eating at Cho Cho San for over ten years & have always loved their sushi. This has the same owner, so we decided to check it out. Very nice place & the menus are almost identical to Cho Cho San. I give it 4 out of 5 stars since it was almost as good as Cho Cho San. I did have a couple of hand rolls that fell apart since the Sushi Chef did not wrap them as well. Overall, this place is still very good.

Although the food was very good, the service provided was horrendous! It started with a server who had to be tracked down at least 4 times. Then when a sever lost our credit card, the manager was rude, condensending, and laughed in our face. What a way to celebrate with family. This one experience was so disappointing. We should have listened to the poor ratings because they were every bit the truth.

Its a really fun eventful place. The food is amazing, and its fun to watch your food cooked right in front of you. The only thing I dont like is they never de-vain the shrimp. I always get the new York steak and shrimp, but Im always picking at the shrimp when I get it cuz I dont like that seeing or eating that nasty part of the shrimp. Other than that everything is good.

This place is definitely expensive and I guess too much for the average person. But while I was here I got the friendliest customer service and our reservation was on time. In total our tab was 1,046 but jeez was it delicious! Never have I had such delicious food in my life. They cook it in front of you to and the location is kind of hidden but do try.

Very disappointing they change the rice they no longer use real garlic and the manager was a lady and didnt know that they accept 25 score card and then argued with me about it and then finally said okay well take it this one time Oh no just a very poor experience for someone whos been going there for over 20 years

A great place for a hibachi, or sushi! There usually is no wait for the sushi and it is some of the best in the Santa Clarita valley. If you are planning of doing the hibachi call ahead and make a reservation, also try to avoid the times between 4-7pm. But the food and the showmen ship is great !

Sushi is always tasty and the service is usually pretty quick. Lunch specials are fairly priced, as well as Happy Hour if you are in there later. You wont be disappointed if you want good sushi in the SCV. Theres also a weird dance club in the back on the weekends, if youre into that.

Disappointing service: errors were made but corrected, which was great, but waitress went on break without advising us or letting us know who replacement server would be. Lack of communication between host staff and customers. Other servers were helpful and professional.

Attentive, quick service. The sushi rolls are wonderful and there is a wide variety available. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. And there is a hamburger and fries option for those in your party that dont like Japanese food.
