I will never eat here again. I came in for breakfast and was seated immediately in a booth by the bathroom. I ordered a standard eggs toast and sausage breakfast with a side of fruit and an orange juice. The juice came out warm. All of the food, I kid you not, was VERY unappetizing. It had the WORST flavor of any diner I have ever been to. The eggs were off, the sausage, even the toast (which is hard to mess up!) Not until I ate a piece of my fruit ($5 for a tiny bowl of melon and 1 grape) did I realized it had SLIME all over them! Me and my partner didnt finish our food, we left. The whole entire day afterwards I had a very upset stomach. I am disgusted with this diner and will never be coming back.

Food is above average for Vallejo. Good flavors, fresh and consistent. Service is outstanding. Servers are happy to wait on you, which is also out of the norm for Vallejo, where I find most people, servers or counter people act as if they are doing you a favor by serving you. Servers here are attentive, yet not intrusive. I have not always had a good experience with Black Bear, eaten at several including the original one in Mt. Shasta City, but this one has great food, great service and is a consistent delight. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent as usual... I live in southern California so we rarely get to enjoy black bear diner but I have to say I was extremely dissatisfied with the service... The server was rude and very abrupt with our party... After saying she would be back in a couple mins she came back 15 mins later... that was the tip of the ice berg she also got out order incorrect and it took another 8 mins for her to bring our drinks... I rarely write reviews but this lady was just rude. ..

Worst service ever! Told us it would be 10 minutes, we waited 30 just to walk away and go to Applebees. One group actually was seated and waited so long to be served they got up and left, taking care to yell at cashier on the way out. Over half the tables were open, but the waiting area was full of people waiting to be seated. Applebees seated us right away and my 6 year old, starving grandson happily told them how good they are at their jobs. I will never return

I would give the service a 4. But the food a 2. I had the huevos rancheros and they were ok. The eggs were flavorless the salsa looked canned and the hash browns were flavorless and tasted like the potatoes were unwashed. My table also had the bacon pancakes and they were super dry. Needed a lot of syrup to eat them. There might be better things on the menu but these arent two of them

Listen, if you live in norcal and you dislike Black Bear... move. Black bear is a CA gem, like in-n-out. coming from the east coast I know diners, and black bears are to a regular diner what a moped is to a harley. Wverythings from scratch, the country fried steak is a potential cardiac arrest in a meal, but in a way youd be happy to go . Always excellent.

Went tonight and had the usual "GREAT" experience!!! ***Tony***, turned a frustrating night for my guests and I into smiles all around. Never fails to go out of his way to ensure every patron he serves or passes by is well taken care of. The food, servings and Tony puts this Black Bear on top of my list. This guy deserves his shot at management.

have our family breakfast twice this week and service is good but have to wait too long for the food. have to wait for almost one hour before the serve our food. This morning took at least 25 min to take our order and another 45 minutes for the food to wait. Im done for now, maybe we will try to visit again after the holidays??? maybe???

I went to Napoli because it was close. It was SO excellent, I will go back again. If youre not too close by, its worth a trip. Excellent service and fantastic pizza! Maybe it was because they were slammed with customers with the Thanksgiving holiday, but I am not impressed with their food compared to the same restaurant in Napa off Imola. The Napa restaurant is great, the quality is always A-1 and the workers are very hospitable and knowledgeable about the wonderful menu. Get ready for take home!!

I ordered two breakfast plates one with steak and one with country fried steak with eggs over medium but instead my eggs were raw this was a to-go order so unfortunately I was stuck with raw disgusting eggs will not go back again and the biscuit was also disgusting huge but disgusting no flavor

The service has always been good. Now the food is like something you can get at home. Which is not always what you want. But prices are good. Food is better than average and you get good service. When you dont want to cook and you dont want fancy or weird come here.

Great place for breakfast. Portions are huge so come hungry. I ordered the eggs Benedict and they were perfect! The hash-browns could have been a little crispier, but they were still delicious. Be sure to save room for pie or a giant bear claw!

Its usually a great place for meals. I have seen a steak and eggs breakfast special during Monday-Friday in the mornings that is very tasty with a low price. Friendly service and a clean environment makes this a nice place to eat.

I have been to Napoli Pizza in Vallejo and Vacaville. Both are excellent as far as the variety of the menu, the quality of the food and service, and the prices. The atmosphere is modest and possibly could use some improvement.

Service was Ok. Waited 45 min or so after ordering for food, missed a few items from order. Pretty uninteresting, but for basic eggs and pancakes it was just right amount and traditional truck-stop diner feel.

We went in to eat dinner tonite and were seated and waited 20 minutes and never got a waitress over to our table, never got drinks. Not going back to black bear diner any time soon! The service is HORRIBLE!

Love the Eggs Benedict with added spinach and the hash browns are awesome! Oh b addition, they add a generous portion of mixed fruit. The price is reasonable and large portions. Yum!

Most the time when we come up. everything is great but at this location in Vallejo silverwares dirty certain items arent available as the other locations. Not to happy.
