Ended up going here because in the Lamorinda area you have maybe two options for breakfast around 6am. I decided to give them a shot, and I will not be going back. The food was not appetizing at all. My friend took one bite of his scrambled eggs and ham and put his fork down, and that dude eats just about anything. It was like cafeteria food. I can see how since its the only game in town that people could get defensive about it, but even Crepevine is leagues better than this place, and Crepevine is just average. Avoid it, spend the extra 10 minutes and go somewhere in Oakland or Berkeley.

Five stars is high praise but I have never had a bad meal there and I have had plenty of good/great ones. The ingrediants always taste fresh and wonderful.The service is always good. I used to live in Orinda so I went quite often. Now I live in San Francisco and look forward to an excuse to go out there and have a meal.I make it about once a month now.

They have the freshest ingredients. Clean bathroom. The tastiest food. Never frozen. The staff always remember what I want when I go there. I get the same thing every time. 3 egg omelette with country taters and sour dough toast. Its my favorite but everything else I have tried is good too.

My favorite place to get Cafe food in town, its tucked away in a shopping center. Classic diner type food, but you can get a good healthy salad or home made soup too. Kids love the milkshakes. Owners Snarky and Cathy are great, loyal staff is friendly.
