I first experienced Chik-Fil-A when I lived in Texas, where fell in love with the food, the variety of sauces, and the excellent customer service. It seemed like the only fast food restaurant going above and beyond to make the customers day. I loved Chik Fil-A so much, as a Community Service Officer in Student Council, I teamed up with the manager to organize various community service events. Now that I am in my home state its a real treat to eat at a Chik Fil-A whenever I come across one. That being said, I was excited to see one coming to Stockton only 5 minutes away from my work. I knew the lines would be crazy long so I left my house 30 minutes early just so I could enjoy a simple chicken sandwich and a sweet tea. I went through the line and everything seemed fine, I was making excellent time and would have no trouble getting to work early.... so I thought. I pulled up to the pick up window after ordering a sweet tea and the #1 seller, the Chik Fill-A sandwich. The cashier hands me my sweet tea and then informs me it will be a minute for my sandwich. I dont think anything of it, bc they just opened and the line is crazy and I planned for delays. After a minute she asks me to pull into the parking space facing the pick up window and put my hazards on and they would bring my food out shortly. I still wasnt upset, but was a little flabbergasted that they did have a chicken sandwich made yet. Never the less, I pulled into the parking space and put my hazards on like she instructed. I thought to myself, the next guys gonna have to wait too! Nope! He didnt wait. I watched him and 10 other cars behind me all get their drinks and food as I sat waiting with my hazards on infront of the window. Surely these people didnt just order milkshakes and sweet tea?!?! Surely someone in this parade of cars has ordered chicken sandwiches and got them by now, so where is mine?!?!?! It wasnt a complicated order. My name is not Bonquiqui, but maybe it should have been! 3pm was approaching and I didnt want to be late for work so I got out of my car and walked up to the window and asked if I was supposed to go inside for my food, thinking perhaps I misunderstood "pull in, put on your hazards and well be right out"? I was not misinformed. They forgot me. I was told again that it would be right out. As soon as I sat back in my car, an employee finally brought me my food, a soggy sandwich and cold fries, "Here ya go." ... Here you go? You forgot me, made me late for work, and my food is soggy and fries are cold. The Chik Fil A I know and love would have offered to refund my meal or at least given me coupons for a free sandwich. I know this is a new location and maybe I should just let it go, but I have never experienced a chik fil a like this. Maybe its just Stockton? I dont like to think like that but I just cant figure it out. It was not a pleasure. It was a major disappointment. Giving two stars because I still recommend chik fil a everywhere else and because I tried the sweet sriracha sauce and it was pretty good.... lol .... sigh

I dont know if many of you know this but if you pay with a gift card and your balance is under $10 you can request the rest of the gift card in cash. The manager at the Chick-fil-A refused to give me a small $.70 left on my gift card. California law states that if you have less than $10 the business must comply with your request. This store needs to get educated on gift card laws. The girl at the window was very nice but the manager didnt even want to come to the window to talk to me. Here is the California law so other customers who dont want to return to the store can get their money off the gift card no matter how much is left. Any gift certificate sold after January 1, 1997, is redeemable in cash for its cash value, or subject to replacement with a new gift certificate at no cost to the purchaser or holder.4 Effective January 1, 2008, any gift certificate with a cash value of less than $10 is redeemable in cash, which includes currency or check, for its cash value. California laws governing gift cards and gift certificates cannot be waived.

Decent customer service. the location is not the best (right off the freeway) for if you are coming from the opposite side from which Chick-fil-A is on you have to go down an extra block and hit a u-turn in an area where it feels like you cant hit a u-turn but theres no signs not permitting it, then you have to merge into a lane that has a cement divider that is letting in cars from the freeway and you have only so much feet in order to merge and then immediately turn into the complex. I like that they have two drive thru windows but the second one is for patsies for the first lane can easily bully you out of you dont order quick enough. Too bad you cannot order inside at late night for thats always the quickest method for me but it is Stockton.

Went to this place saturday around 3 o clock. We ordered our food and all ate there. My father and my boyfriend went to the rest room to go wash their hands before leaving. An male employee come from doing a number two in the stall and didnt even bother to wash his hands. even it he peed he still touched his private parts. My father then went and told the manager, and the manager gave the excuse "that the employee was on break. " Um..... what that suppose to mean? Because he on break he not entitled to wash his hands? But still back can go behind the counter and touch stuff. ? Gross. Not even sanitary . If my people caught that employee not washing his hands with no shame then he been doing this since yall hired him.

I wasnt told upfront that the regular chicken sandwich is free and anything else is extra and you have to pay for it. Customer service is terrible!!!! They are Soo matter fact! Not sweet at all. They dont have common courtesy!! My favorite Chick-fil-A is the Olive Branch, Ms. Branch!! They sure know how to treat their customers. Love Brandon Paulsen, he strives on excellence and he makes sure his staff does the same! Stockton, CA has a whole lot to be desired. They going to have to do better. I am a faithful Customer of Chick-fil-A; I am new to the area, I insist on Quality Service! Thank you!

Very rarely do I give a chick fill a lower than 5 stars but the people who work night shift, arent that friendly. Maybe its because Ive worked leadership positions at Chick Fil A before and that makes me notice these things. The person who took my order didnt smile or greet me when I walked up. Also you shouldnt tell the person, who suggests that the syrup for one of your drinks is low, that they are probably wrong. You should just go check, it takes 10 secs to walk to the back and look. But hey the food tasted great like usual.
