My fiance and I went and waited to be seated for 3 minutes on top of that they sat us (the new guy so he seemed) in a booth in the front by the windows. The lady (manager I think or owner) told him to seat us in the back then she used the excuse that they only had 3 people serving; there were two families sitting there. They ONLY sat White people in the front right after we were seated the next people in were White and sat in the same seat we were given initially. The second and third parties in after us were also Caucasian American and sat in the front. Everyone that was sat in the back was an "ethnic minority" Asians, Latin Americans, Mixed parties... The ceiling is beautiful but the racism and poor service is not! I think they believe that people will see White customers eating and it will bring them more business it could also be them simply giving them "better" seats or both.

Wonderful! They have wonderful, high quality food and they prices are very reasonable. They take common items found in american chinese restaurant menus and add their own unique touch. Their potstickers are huge, delicious, and appear to be made in house. I chose the sizzling rice soup as my meal. It was amazing and they have a very good table side presentation when they serve it. The rice really sizzles. The small size soup is quite large. Our server was excellent as well. The only negativenthing was the crab rangoon. My husband said it was oily and had an odd flavor (i did not eat them because i have a shellfish allergy). Overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant and would highly recommend it. It is probably the best chinese food restaurant that i have encountered in my lifetime.

Food is amazing, wonderful staff and friendly servers. I have never in my life had a better server, and my idea of one has totally changed since going here. My drink was always filled within a moment after emptying it. The food was delivered quickly, and he came back only once to ensure everything was fine. The food is to die for, and there are many options. The price of it is crazy good. I felt like I was robbing them as I payed my bill.

#1 Chineese Food place in Stockton. This is based off of the taste of the food (there are fancier places to be, but for the quality of food none come close). Lemon chicken, shrimp fried rice, calamari, and so much more. This place makes each of these things better than any other Chinese food place I have been to. It should be noted I try a new Chinese food place almost bi weekly.

Classic simple Chinese food. Great lunch menu options at great prices. Can get crowded during lunch and dinner times. Lunches are plated and dinner is served family style. I have not had a single ok dish let alone a bad one. One of my favorites in Stockton. The restaurant is clean with simple design and open. They also have quasi private dining tables for larger groups.

Over rated. The spicy food is bland and boring. Mentioned this to waiter and said he was sorry. Second visit we told them we wanted it spicy...but no luck. They dont deliver what they advertise or claim on the menu. Even the none spicy food lacked flavor. New Yen Ching does deliver and the food is so much better. Except we didnt like the eggplant dish...too mushy!

The food was wonderful. The thin breads they bring before you order are crispy and flavorful. I got the green lasagna and it was sublime. Very subtle mix of flavors, not heavy. Definitely one of the best pasta dishes I have tried-- and I have been to Italy several times. Great dining experience except it was way too noisy. We could barely hear each other.

“Always good” This is quite a place. It is a family business that has been part of Stockton for decades. Old school but with interesting fresh, high quality food. Excellent burgers, good sandwiches and really good chicken. You can get milk shakes and they serve beer . You order at the counter and they call your number and the have inside dining.

Freshest Chinese food I have ever tasted in my life. Yen Du is our go-to for Chinese food in Stockton now. Their food just tastes so fresh compared to many other Chinese restaurants that pre-cook certain items. Get the chowmein, its so garlicky and delicious, you will be amazed if youre a garlic lover like I am!

Surprised to see such a good Chinese restaurant in Stockton. Excellent food - every item we tried was great including the soup. The ambience was traditional and nice. The server was very courteous and helpful - he noted and took care of the allergy info some ppl in our party had. Overall great place!

I wonder if the other people giving this place 5 stars were on drugs or something...the place is clean and has nice decor but the food, the food was gross...greasy, mushy and flavorless...really dissapoiting...save yourself the dissatisfaction, money and tatste buds and go somewhere else...PLEASE

I have been coming here for approximately 20 years. The food has always been delicious. I give it a 4-star rating instead of 5 because the price seems to continually be going up and up... pretty soon it will not be worth the price they are charging. Give it a try and judge for yourself. :)

This hotel is next to a Dennys and some fast food. That is it. It isnt next to the airport really... so if you like hotels in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, except eat cheap food. This is the place for you. They do have an awesome continental breakfast with everything.

have eaten here many, many times. Very good homemade soups & meals. I suggest you order something other than a processed meat sandwich though( turkey, ham) breakfast is a wee bit over priced ( hello Dennys or IHOP) dinners are good, although service varies.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday, and I was more than pleasant surprised by the atmosphere and friendliness of the Staff and Chefs, and the food was great. I love that the chefs come to your table which is also a grill to cook you food.

Great Chinese cuisine. Dont be surprised to be required to spend more than other local Chinese Restaurants, but well worth it. Dont leave without trying the Lemon Chicken and if you like fried foods, the Garlic Fried Chicken is a great choice.

Amazing fried chicken. We had some with friends and actually drove 30 miles to get some of the fantastic fried chicken. Ordered a 12 piece family meal and it was way more than 12, but enough to feed two teenage boys!

The Best Chinese restaurant in Stockton. I love the Egg Plant in Garlic sauce. I always order it! It taste just right to me and the service and the people who do the serving, as well as the atmosphere are lovely.

Been here several times over the years and it is a very consistent. Clean and dependable. Will stay here again if in the area. I cannot recommend the food however. not a good value for the money. So be it,,,,,,
