I cant rate this place high enough! Lets face it ... most of the Chinese restaurants in our area are run down and serving sub-par food. I was dying to find a decent Chinese place that served fresh ingredients and some unique menu options. Not only is everything FRESH, these guys know how to cook! Ive taken my wife and family back many times now and everything is consistently delicious. I also have a vegetarian diet and I am happy to say that they do not rely on meat-based broths to make their soups flavorful! Masters of their craft!

I LOVE coming here. Even though Im only able to come maybe once a month, the employees there recognize me and are very friendly abd personable.The environment is the best. The food is AMAZING! The potstickers are the best Ive EVER had. All the other food there is amazing. I make it a goal to order something new each time because I know itll be so good, no matter what I order. I love the fried rice and their soups! I love this place and hope it never dies down!! Lotus 8 is seriously the best!

Excellent food. Excellent service. My wife and I visited with our two young kids. The server was excellent. He answered our questions and made great recommendations. Seeing we had two young kids he was kind enough to keep the hot plates away from them. The food was great, very flavorful and good portions. Highly recommend. We will return often.

Best Asian in Folsom!!!! Lotus 8 has some of the best customer service. The owner or manager was coming around talking to the customers making friendly conversation.. Everyone was very personable and the food was so amazing. It was very clean and the decor was very nice. This is my new favorite spot!

Ordered honey walnut prawn at dinner size. Plain taste, deep fried, only a few broken pieces of walnut. Not any close to Fats yummy taste. Staff did not show much care. Lunch special was supposed to come with rice but had to ask again & again. Cheep everything...

The food is one of the BEST Ive had. Service is top notch - great people, great food, great environment!! After reading through several reviews here on Google, I must say Panda Express is NOT better. You get more food from Lotus 8 - and their food is super yummy!

I ordered takeout and must tell you that the food was not good. The noodle dish and fried rice was bland. Inconsistent flavor through out. Basic beef and broccoli was a major disappointment as the broccoli was under cooked and meat was dry. Never coming back!

Came here with a group of 7 for a work lunch. My dish (ginger lamb) was very salty and still had a strong scent of game to it. My co-workers won ton soup was lacking in flavor. Neither of us are keen to return.

Was able to order off the menu and get Garlic Chicken. If you do that, be prepared to describe the version of what you want. Food was delicious although was a little heavy on the celery.
