This place is great! After a horrible experience with King of India, I was so happy to find this place nearby! They deliver, which is convenient, and while they make you pay for rice and naan with dinner entrées, they give you twice the amount of food as the other place, so it really evens out. Their lunch buffet is delicious and the chai they serve is hot, spicy, not-too-heavy and is a great addition to the meal. The staff is very friendly and the small restaurant has a clean, comfortable atmosphere with beautiful wood carvings and theres outdoor seating. Ill be going to Tamarind a LOT!

Best Malai Kofta I have ever had. Really enjoyed the sauce and the warmth of their spicy level. They had a great 50% off special on Yelp for checking in that made us consider coming here. So glad we did. All of the food was tasty and fresh. The manager that we met was extremely nice and really loved his job. Hope that we get a chance to go back there again while we are visiting LA.

My wife and I tried Tamarind Cuisine of India because it was the best rated Indian Restaurant near us. We loved it! The next time my awesome Indian friend was in town we took him to Tamarind Cuisine of India and now its his favorite Indian Restaurant in the area.Everything is great but we love the Queen Paru meal above all else.

This place is good but as of now we have had a change of heart. WE MADE AN ORDER AND WAITED FOR OVER AN HOUR WHEN WE WERE PROMISED THAT THE FOOD WAS BEING DELIVERED. THE GUY DECIDED TO NOT DRIVE AND WE NEVER GOT A CALL. EVEN THE FOOD WAS NEVER BEEN MADE!!!

Decided to try this place after doing a search for Indian food in the valley and was not disappointed. The garlic Naan and spinach kulcha were both super tasty and I loved the sauce for the chicken Tikka marsala. Leftovers were even better the next day!

Undercooked food, dirty silverware and no disclaimer their their chicken is dark meat. Their chicken makhani (butter chicken) was straight disgusting. They make excuses when confronted about it. Plenty of other Indian restaurants in the area.

Darbar is the best Indian restaurant in the valley. Ive been looking for a place with really good chicken tikka masala, LOOK NO FURTHER!! Great service, amazing food, & great prices. This is going to be my regular spot for sure!

The aloo gobi here is the best ive ever had. Paneer and tikka masala superb. Nice service, excellent food and accommodated my service animal. Only suggestion would be warmer temped chai.

Food is good! They give you the option of regular AND garlic naan. Buffet was big, with many options. Very friendly staff. Restaurant was crowded for lunch, which is also a good sign.
