After trying majority of the pizza pies around Van Nuys and Sherman Oaks area. I finally found a new home.."Leaning Tower LA". I saw the menu pics online and knew instantly I have to try it. When the pie arrived...very quickly...via a cool gent it smelled great (not the guy..the pie). Included was a generous amount parmesan cheese for every slice unlike those super miniature machine made packets that only contain a small sprinkle. As soon as I opened the box I was very ready to kick it and feast. When I grabbed that first piece I quickly had to use two hands..one for the outer crust and the other one to make sure I dont lose any cheese, sauce or one those awesome meatballs. Homemade style pies are what I like...and this one is it. You can really appreciate the wonderful sauce, gooey cheese and toppings on a great thinner style crust which wont bloat you with bread. The outer crust which is very irregular in shape instantly indicates a truely hand made. Puffy, light and a slightly crunchy chewiness describes it best. Very nice people will take care to make sure you have enjoyable meal. Why would I say that? A cool gent from the shop called me later that evening to make sure everything was great. Unfortunately I didnt answer cuz I was in a pizza induced coma (sorry dude). BTW...I do believe that Mamma Mia Pizzeria went out of business around January 2009 leaving a turn-key pizza pie shop open for LeaningTowerLA. Definitely my new Pizza Pie Home!

at first i liked the place. then i heard the owner talk down to an employee, repeatedly, for what seemed like nothing. then my wife pointed out that she never had the same delivery driver twice. then i realized when i went there to eat i only saw the same employee for a couple of weeks, then never again. i was already sick of the bozo owner talking to me and staring at me while i ate. the place is usually empty and they seem a little too aggressive/in your face when a customer is there. then we saw the weekly ads on craigslist for them having positions to fill and realized these people are exploiting the job market and treat their employees like dirt and fire them ALL within a couple weeks or less!!! neither of us ever returned or ordered again. on top of that the meat is sliced so thin you cant even taste it.

I walked in to order pizza and discovered that it was also a dine in restaurant. My wife had the lasagne, which she ordered a second of because it was that good. I went for the pizza, I got a medium instead of a personal, because I thought this was going to be like most pizza places, a few toppings, and a little cheese. I was wrong, 3 slices qnd I was full. these guys dont chince on the cheese or toppings. My wife couldnt finish the second lasagne as they are pretty big, but she was happy to have it the next day. For desert we polished off 2 cookies each. They were only 50cents each but they were big and just melted in the mouth with every bite, they were so good.

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. I would put a 0 stars, bad luck, not available. Since December I have been her 3-4 times with family and friends. Pizza is good but the rest is just not cooked today at all. I ordered a panini sandwich and after 25 min. ( no body else in the salon as eating customers but me and my 7yro.) panini came and the only hot part was the bun on the outside, the meet and cheese looked like cooked together last week ( today is Sunday). All in all, my last visit here. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

This is the best pizza I have ever had. And it feels like really good quality food. A lot pf pizza just feels like greasy junk food. This is classy pizza at its best. I have had them delivering pizza delivering to my house for at least ten years. I always get a garden salad with it, and its top quality greens. Cant say enough about the quality of their food.

Love, love, love this place. Food is great, had nearly everything they make now. It is not like the big franchises, small and quick to respond to our orders. They make the pizzas with cubed mozzarella, saw them make some, pretty cool. They clearly put the menu first.

Great for what it is! - Good homestyle italian cousine - Fresh, high-quality ingridients - Very reasonable price One thing - garlic bread and parmesan breadsticks are much better if you it them right there. I wold not order any bread items for "to go".

We had our Christmas party here and WOW is the food AMAZING. Everything is fresh, and we especially enjoyed the buffalo ranch pizza and the pink penne pasta. The owner was very customer service oriented and made sure we were all happy. Well be back!

This place makes some pretty tasty pizza. The crust taste is pretty similar to Pizza Hut, but better. I had the pepperoni and mushroom large, along with a side of buffalo wings. Overall, a very solid pizza joint for a reasonable price.

When youve got a hankering for traditional pizza, this is the place! Delicious old-fashioned pizza. Tasty crust, well-seasoned sauce, and exceptionally good pepperoni. And they deliver for free (over $20) within three miles. YUM!

Great restaurant... Great service and atmosphere. Order from their website to get a deal. Everything is fantastic, but I really suggest the lasagna soup, the turkey spinach and feta panini, and the tower pizza!
