I live in the heart of Van Nuys where awesome pizza is hard to come by in terms of what is deliverable. So its been an ongoing quest, for years now, to satisfy Sundays official declaration of "Pizza Night" in our house, without having to actually drive somewhere. It was Fresh Brothers turn and we gave it a try 2 weeks in a row. The first week we ordered the deep dish pizza. Im a fanatic for good, thin, New York style pizza, but every now and then a craving comes along for a Chicago style deep-dish. An authentic one is hard to find in the Valley (or, in my experience outside of Chicago.) This one was okay on its own terms. Definitely fresh...good tasting sauce and cheese. The crust was almost, sort of in the direction of a Chicago deep dish...a little bit of a buttery taste, but not quite as flaky as one would want from the authentic example of Chicago Deep dish. Also if youre going to make it authentic, besides the perfect biscuit like buttery crust, you need to put the cheese on the bottom, then the sauce. Thats just how its done. So not perfect, but pretty fresh and got me thinking maybe they do a good job on a regular thin crust pizza. So we ordered one for week two...Same good tasting sauce and cheese...unfortunately the crust was not good at all. Very thin tasting...almost like a flat bread or pita in its taste and texture...a complete miss in terms of New York style thin pizzas. (Kind of wondering if they maybe sent the "skinny or lite" version of the crust by mistake.) Anyway, this really ruined this pizza for me. I might sometime in the future get the deep dish again, or maybe ask them to make a thin crust using their deep dish dough...but the quest continues for excellent, delivered pizza in the heart of Van Nuys.

Excellent pizza. Both Chicago style "Deep-dish" and New York thin crust are offered. Ouality is excellent. A full vegan pizza in both styles is available. Gluten free pizza crusts are offered. Ingredients are fresh. The popular "Childrens Sauce" is full of ground veggies. It tastes like a rich tomato sauce and costs a bit extra but, its worth it. Several salads and chicken tenders (both conventional, gluten free and vegan) are available. Dessert, for lack of a better description, is a eight inch pie shaped sweetroll. Local delivery. Easy free parking and wheelchair accessible, including gender neutral bathroom.

After several bad experiences I decided not to go to Encino location ever. Usually I order by phone or online and pick it. Ones they forgot to put pepperoni, it was cheese pizza, but I was charged for pepperoni. Next time they make pizza overcooked almost burned and unusually salty. Today my Peperonni pizza looked and tasted like that was made yesterday :( When you spend more than 20 dollars for Peperonni pizza youre expecting it to be Fresh and tasty.

We are obsessed with Fresh brothers! We eat pretty healthy and their gluten free/vegan pizza is a staple in our house. Their salads are amazing and their chicken wings are baked and delish! We love to order from them for parties too! They are always on time and the flavors are perfect! We can even get matzah pizza at passover.. so glad that fresh brothers is in the neighborhood!

New to the area and had been next door to Subway. They always seemed busy so we decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed at all. I am not a fan of deep dish but that is what my friend wanted. Best deep dish I have ever had. The sweet chili wings are amazing. Definitely glad we gave it a try and will be back for sure. The staff was so nice as well.

AMAZING!!!! FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH! Their pizza tastes beyond delicious and is always right out of the pizza oven when i pick up or they deliver. Their chicken, salads, meatballs...is to die for...Customer service is spectacular. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy! We eat here on average 2 times a week!

We are from out of town and googled pizza places near us. We drove around for about 30 to 45 mins and stopped at several places that looked dirty and run down. We finally found Fresh Brothers Pizza!!! Great, friendly service! Pizza, salad and wings were awesome!!! Will definitely be returning!!! Completely satisfied!!
