Uncle Mikes BBQ is simply the best BBQ in the greater Seattle area. Ive been to Issaquah, Lynnwood and Olympia and have yet to find any place better. Now you would expect excellent pulled pork, ribs and brisket from any BBQ place. But in additonal the Pork Chops, Meatloaf and Oxtails are also just as fantastic. Then bring on the sides. Rice and beans used to be so boring, but NOT at Uncle Mikes, wow! The Mac N Cheese and Candied Yams are also fantastic. So now youve had a great entree and excellent sides, what about dessert? Hold on because desserts are even better. Ive had the Sweet Potato Pie and the Apple Cobbler, they are both amazing. It takes me over an hour to get to Uncle Mikes, but I will continue to make the drive because it is the only place I can find such quality food. Thank you Uncle Mike, We Love You!

I was unimpressed with the food and the service. It was passable at best. I had the ribs and pulled pork platter with collard greens and fries. The ribs were soft to the point of being overly moist, and tasted like they were microwaved. The pulled pork was shredded instead of being in larger chunks, and was very dry. The sauce was equally uninspiring. My girlfriend was looking for gluten-free options after seeing their menu online and the server didnt seem to want to let us know what our options were. We didnt find out there was BBQ on the veggies, or that it was gluten-free sauce until after we asked. Seattle has good BBQ if you can find it. This place is definitely not a good BBQ spot, at least from my experience.

The good, is the vibe and the ciders. Great selection and I like the layout and atmosphere of the place. On to the food, much of it leaves some stuff to be desired. The Mac and cheese had an almost mashed potatoes texture, the BBQ its self was just ok. All I had was the fried chicken sandwich which was good but not great. It was two chicken strips fried on a bun. No slaw no sauce and not as much chicken as you get at some places. Ive been here twice each time they improved a little, I will probably keep giving it a try here and there as it is right by.

Ordered via delivery service, ribs were nigh inedible, greens were tasteless and the red beans and rice were at the same time overspiced and undercooked. We ordered two separate platters each with different meats, but they just divided all the items everything between two containers indifferent to what was actually ordered. Would have been nice if they had remembered to include all of the sides that were ordered instead of only two thirds of them. The best thing about this meal was that our cat enjoyed playing with the paper bag it came in.

Really great food. Love the fried chicken wings. But be advised, the hot wings are seriously HOT; but you can always chase them with a cold Red Stripe. The barbecue is also delicious, but for something unique and special you should try the oxtail. Im also a fan of the chicken and dumplings when its on. Personally, I wish hed cook his greens with a little pork, but Mike wont do it out of defefence to his vegetarian customers. I still order them for my side and finish them every time.

We first had Uncle Mikes in White Center and loved it for both the vegetarian and meat choices. We were sorry to see them move so far away... We hire them to cater an event at our daughters elementary school near the original location once a year, and we receive the same great food and friendly service the we received at the original location. Every year I look forward to the event - especially the opportunity to eat the BB-Q!

Im giving it two starts because the salad and ciders. The ciders were pretty good. OMG all the food was very dry. The worse mac and cheese ever! It seems that everything came from the microwave. The ribs were really over cook and were very expensive for what it was. Also a lady was by herself doing pretty much everything. She was nice and we appreciated that but we never coming back.

Ugh...ordered almost 100 dollars worth. Macaroni noodles were overcooked and mushy and not one crunch in 3 side dishes. The cornbread was dry and tasteless, the beef brisket was way too expensive for 2 thin slices. the peach cobbler was unrecognizeable as a cobbler. Tasted like mushy bread with canned peaches over them! The greens were so salty they were unedible!

Worst brisket Ive ever had. Soaked in bbq sauce to cover up the fact that practically half of it was fat. Also over priced for the quantity and quality of food you get. My wife didnt like her ribs either. Water was even bad. Tasted like unfiltered tap water. One good thing was the waiter, he was friendly and did a great job.

My friend and I go searching for good bbq and weve found it and only 2 blocks from our work! I had the pulled pork sandwich which was the perfect combination of messy and delicious. The service was very quick and nice (friday lunch time). I will definatly be back and lookout ribs because you are next haha!

AMAZING food and great service! Best pulled pork, better than grandma made! Moist and flavorful. Red beans and rice were really tasty! Even had some fried okra!! They hit all my favorites and did it exceedingly well. If you like REAL southern BBQ this is a place to go! <3

Seattle needs good BBQ. Uncle Mikes helps achieve that goal. Their pulled pork was beautifully smoked and tender. Collard greens were well-seasoned and fresh. In fact everything was fresh and delicious. Looking for good BBQ in North Seattle, give Uncle Mikes a try.

Uncle Mikes is my favorite place to eat in White Center. The food is amazing. All my friends with dietary restrictions can eat there-- Vegetarians, vegans, and people with celiacs disease have many items to choose from. And it is delicious.

Inconsistent, overpriced and subpar. Tried this place 3 different times each time ordered rib tips and got 3 different amounts. The sides are horrible. Greens way too saltt, macaroni and cheese and peach cobbler are mush. Way overpriced.

The food is ok at best. It wasnt dry, which is good. Over-reliance on spice-heat to make up for lack of complexity of flavor. Personal gripe: no way not to see a bunch of TVs with distracting flickering light I dont care about.

Everything tasted really old and was served in plastic containers that seemed like it was just warmed up. Two young kidd serving that didnt seem to know what to do. Sorry once again Seattle cant make BBQ.

If you want the real deal this is the place. They have hickory smoked meats that are perfectly smoked and seasoned. Homemade sauces beans salads and greens. I have eaten there four times in two months.
