No es exactamente el lugar, si no las hamburguesas. Creo que tienen el balance perfecto de todos los componentes. Estan cocinados sobre una parrilla, lo que hace que descarte la grasa excesiva. Tienen un buen tamaño, suficiente para un almuerzo, lo pueden pedir con papas fritas. El lugar en sí, es muy pequeño (7 asientos), y la mayoría de los comensales saborean las hamburguesas en el parque del otro lado de la calle. Ademas de las hamburguesas de carne, las hay también de pechugas de pollos (buenísimas) y otras que no he probado. No tienen bebidas alcohólicas, pero si desean acompañarlo con una buena cerveza, pueden comer su hamburguesa a pocas puertas donde esta el pub "with no name". Les permiten comer alli, siempre y cuando ordenen las bebidas del pub.

Recommended by tour guide- my husband and I went in, stood in line, placed order, watched them make our food, then a guy cut in front of everyone, places his order and paid, as I and a line of others, waited to pay for 5-10 minutes. I gave them my Discover card, and was told they do not accept it. I explained that is all I had and the cashier asked the cook and he said "then cancel your order". There is no room, just a literal line of ppl between the cook area and wall. I said, I have nothing else, so I guess I will have to. I walked out the door and immediately to my husband, who was told to wait outside while we were in line waiting, "only those paying inside, all others go out". My husband said that he had cash, I ran it in immediately (5 steps away) and as I stood in front of the cook (he saw me with cash in hand), he gave my order number away to the ppl at the back of the line, I told him I had cash, and I was that number. He said, "you canceled your order, its now their number"- he was a complete jerk. Even the others in line were trying to help me and felt bad. This is not the soup nazi on Seinfeld, its a burger joint for Gods sake, have a heart or at least manners. There was no sign stating Discover couldnt be used. It just looks like a McDonalds assembly line with your typical condiments slapped on and I see nothing special about their burgers- even the title is lame, like the cook.

Die Burger sind der absolute Oberhammer. Es wird ein sich drehender Grillrost benutzt über offenem Feuer. Man kann also live zuschauen wie die Burger gebraten werden. Es werden nur frische Zutaten (Zwiebeln, Salat usw.) benutzt. Der Gastraum ist klein und ein bischen schmuddelig. Aber die Sauberkeit des Personal bei der Speisenzubereitung ist 1A. Unbedingte Empfehlung für Burgerliebhaber !!!

Riquisimas las hamburguesas, muy peculiar la forma de cocinarlas. Si se va a Sausalito, es un must! Lo unico malo es la cola que sale por la puerta y llega hasta la esquina de la calle. Tambien tienes que buscarte la vida para comerla porque no hay sitio para sentarte. Si hace buen día no hay problema porque hay parquecitos y cesped justo enfrente.

Upon requesting from the chief to add a Tobasco sauce before packaging the hamburgers (we were the last customers before they close the restaurant) we were refused! ... in a very unpleasant manner. The reason was the motivation of the chief to protect its business!!! Mr. chief, your business will succeed if you only please your customer! If there is a request from your customers to add tabasco sauce you have to find a way to do that! By the way, there is nothing special about their hamburgers! The rotating grill is just a good marketing asset ... I hope that the chief rotates its mindset from its processes to customers!!!

Personally, i found that the hamburger i had was just heavenly. the meat was juicy yet not juicy enough to melt the buns. I heard about this joint from an information office. the lady who tipped me off told me that britney spears had eaten there and said that it was her best hamburger. This might very well be a myth. when i arrived, the line outside immediately told me what the outcome would be like. If, like me, you enjoy grilled meat, go check this place out and you will not regret it.

It is so difficult to find a really good burger place. This place is good, but the issue was the bun bread. Their bread was a bit dry and tasteless, so it killed the greatness of their meat. The cheese was also a bit tasteless. It is probably depending on what people are looking for. If you really are looking for the taste of the great juicy burger meat, this is a place to come. I am more of a person to enjoy the mixed texture of bread, cheese and meat, so I was a bit disappointed.

Terrible service and attitude to the customers. We made a special trip just wanted to try out the most famouse Burgers in Sausalito. Found employees were so mean and they refused our request to cut the Burrito in half before serving. Employee said we are wasting his time. Not just horrible service and bread is old and hard. I just wish owner knows. Customer do not deserve this kind of service. Do not go 737 Bridgeway Hamberger unless they have better training.

The burgers here are so delish! The shop is very small and they just have a handful of options. But they basically have this large grill where you can watch them make the burger. We got here really early, around 11 something and they just opened, otherwise I was told there are long queues, especially on a nice day! You get to pick and choose your veggies, so thats a bonus. They dont have any sitting space, so just grab your burger and sit right by the water!

I have eaten at this place several times. When traveling with multitudes of relatives that have a different idea of what they want to eat a great grilled burger is always easy. I have come off the ferry from SF many a time to the smell of these hamburgers, and you have to beat the line. The downside is that there is no place in this closet sized restaurant. Yes... take your food across the street and eat in the park or on the wharf, it is still great

As Im sure you know, many people love to indulge in their idea of the authentic New York hot dog, pretzel, or in this case, the San Francisco hamburger (whatever that means). But in most cases, these experiments rarely end in the consumption of something beyond the ordinary. Dont go to this joint expecting to discover the ultimate hamburger. Rather, grab some grub, enjoy the sights, and become part of the picturesque metropolis that is San Fransico.

The burgers at Hamburgers are probably the best I had in Sausalito and the Bay Area for that matter. Its a very popular spot for tourists and locals alike, being very close to the ferry drop-off and in the middle of town also probably helps. Your burgers are prepared fresh on a rotating grill and you can watch them cook and then be assembled. The fries are also tasty. Very good value and no-frills. Just tasty burgers. Loved it.
