Overall, my wife and I had a pretty disappointing experience. Upfront disclaimer, we went on the 4th of july around 2:00pm. After a short wait, we were directed to the bar area which was apparently open seating. The patio and main part of the restaurant was fairly busy, but the bar was pretty dead. We quickly got attention from the bartender and had a couple of beers in hand. After a moderate, but reasonable wait we got our orders put in. It took a very long time to get our food. It was clear that people in the main area, who came in after us, were getting their order much more quickly. After a long wait (and one quick apology about the time from our waitress) our food came out. To their credit, both my and my wifes sandwich/burger was extremely good. It is one of the better ones Ive had in the area and may be the one redeeming quality of our visit. On the other hand, our french fries were almost completely cold. I waited for a waitress or anyone to come over and ask us how the food was, but after 5+ minutes with no attention, I went up to the bar. There were at least 4 employees standing behind, including our waitress/the bartender but I didnt seem to have the full attention of any of them. I finally just blurted out something to the effect of "Im sorry to be a pain, but our fries came out cold from the kitchen. Can we please get them warmed up?" One of the employees, a manager I assume, mumbled "just put in a reorder" and rushed away without saying anything more. I just said "thanks" to the general public since nobody was really talking to me, and returned to my seat. Ok great, so we get fresh fries and Im a happy guy again, right? About 5 minutes later the bartender/waitress bring out two small plates of fries and apologized that they were cold. The plates were less than half the portion of fries on our original plates (which we hadnt eaten more than one or two of) and it was immediately apparent that we were getting way less this time around. The waitress told us to let her know if we wanted any more fries, Im assuming because she saw how much less it was too. I would have just expected similar portions up front, and not having to tell someone again that we wanted more... We didnt ask for more fries, but after we finished eating we waited a very long time to get our check. During our visit, the bartender had been over exactly once to get me a 2nd beer. She refilled that quickly, but she never came to ask us how the food was, check up on us, we never got water refills, or much attention at all. I will admit that the bartender/waitress seemed like she was extremely busy. The thing is, that by this point it was well over 2 hours since wed been seated, the restaurant was completely dead in all sections, and all the employees were standing around talking at the bar less than 10 feet away. She may have been busy, but Im not sure what it was with... Certainly not us. She finally came over with our receipts, and since I was having a bad experience and was eager to get out of there, I had my card ready and in hand--I gave it to her and said we were ready to cash out. The nail in the coffin was that our final bill was over $50 for a couple of burgers and drinks. Overall -Great burgers/sandwiches -Our waitress was very friendly and polite -The overall speed was ridiculously slow -Attentiveness was pretty poor -The value is awful Im in no rush to go back again.

After eating here, were still looking for that GREAT burger place! This would be a good place to bring kids, although a little more pricey option (unless you get the kids eat free menu). We sat in the Bar Area, and after a slow start (we had to wait 5-7 min to order - too long in my opinion as we almost left), the food came out quickly. I must say, the Fries are THE BEST!! Greasy and salted just nice. The Bacon Cheese that the BF ordered was good. Not as good as Bobs, but still good. Unfortunately, the Deluxe Chicken Chibatta, nor anything else with the "Pico de Gallo" will not be ordered again. It was good, but because of all the ingredients, my bottom piece of bread was all soggy. It disappointed me as I was really excited to see a soft chibatta roll! The Bacon was crisp and thick, but just too many items on it made it harder to eat. Also, next time Ill ask for no shredded lettuce. With all the other fancy ingredients, the lettuce was a bit of a joke. Plus, after the slow start, the service was much better. If you are looking for a gourmet style burger, good atmosphere, local and you want to sit away from the kids, this is a good place to try!

We had a lousy eating experience. Seating in the bar next to a table that was clearly too large for the room. The back door was open, making an uncomfortable wind at my back. We asked the waitress to close it . She closed it once, we closed it once, and yet it was opened a third time. Our only view was the butts of the people at the table next to us. The people at the table were LOUD and obnoxious. Everytime someone needed to get to the other side of the bar they had their butt in our faces. We were slow to get service, but probably because you couldnt see us for the HUGE table infront of us. It was so dark, you couldnt see your food; so loud you couldnt carry on a conversation; and so cold I was shivvering. Before we could drink one drink, we asked for takeout boxes and our check. I left there with a headache, ringing in my ears and a bad taste in my mouth.

I ordered the bacon cheese with garlic fries and fried pickles appetizer. It was all delicious. The waitress said i would love the garlic fries and she was 100% correct. Plenty of garlic and parmesan. So good. Our food came surprisingly fast considering there were several large parties ahead of us. The service was good and everyone thanked us for coming in. The atmosphere is very different than I expected. There is a large bar area in the rear and a open seating area in front. Lots of outdoor seating as well. It felt like a bar; several televisions playing sports, the sound of clanking glasses, people going in and out to smoke, and an overall high noise level. 4 burgers, 2 appetizers, and 3 sodas: $96. With a $20 tip the grand total was $116! The food was so good, despite the price tag, we all agreed well go again for sure.

I have to admit, I was a skeptic coming in. The atmosphere is a bit run down, like a 90s diner, except that it was clean. The music was throwback and ESPN was on the large screens. Eclectic is the phrase I would use. Then the food arrived. The salad was fresh and tasty and the burger had great toppings, great portions and everything tasted fresh. Ill ask for a little my burger to be a little less well done next time. I got the burger with a friend egg on it and was hoping that it would come over easy, but it didnt. I cant really complain since i didnt specify when ordering, but I think it would make for a better burger. Well definitely be back.
