One of the few places Ill give an excellent to on food. Most everything is good, to great. The calzones are a favorite all-round and are among the best youll ever have. The salads are very tasty(the fiesta is my favorite), as are the appetizers and surprisingly...the sandwiches! After youve done a few safe visits, I highly recommend branching out and trying everything else on the menu. All excellent. The only point of failure are the desserts, which range from pedestrian to regrettable. Ive tried them all and the only one I would order again is surprisingly the vanilla ice cream which is amazingly good. There are much better mud pies and tiramisus to be had at other restaurants. Im not a fan of the "show," since I come for the food, but could see it being a fun experience for the right date.

Its a kid friendly place that has great pasta and pizza - my kids and I stopped here for a late lunch- our server was very friendly asked if the kids wanted some pizza dough to play with (after seating us with kids menus and crayons) - kids said yes, and lo and behold, real pizza dough was on the table- definitely try the pizza rolls appetizer - crispy on outside, cheese and pepperoni on the inside - I got the Kiantis Gourmet Pasta, which was good - a little rich since its pesto based sauce, but good. Great place to come with kids - theres also a full bar if you dont have kids - very casual and comfy.

Ive seen this place get pretty busy so I thought Id finally give this place a try. The restaurant itself is nicely situated in downtown Santa Cruz with plenty of other eateries and shops nearby. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is quite nice as well. Unfortunately for me thats were most of my great experience ended. The service was incredibly slow, unorganized and the food is average at best. I spent more time waiting for water, food and the bill than I actually spent enjoying the company of my group who was just as eager to leave.

Felt like we accidentally had dinner at an Olive Garden. My friend was convinced his Bullit Rye was Beam. Had the Cobb salad (the bacon was great) the rest of the salad was nothing but ordinary. Friend had pizza and said it was ok. Fancy spicy cocktail with jalapeños was actually made with PICKLED (probably canned) jalapeños- not fresh. Very unimpressed. I think the next time Im in Santa Cruz Ill go with the pizza place that had a line out the door. I cant remember the name but its about 2 blocks up on the same side of the street.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch. It happened to be Valentines Day on Presidents Day weekend and a gorgeous 75 degrees outside. Needless to say the place was packed! Despite that the service was great. Our waiter was kind and funny, even though it was so unexpectedly busy everyone was smiling and prompt. The food was delicious. There was nothing amazingly different or out of the box on the menu but the food was really good. And the Raspberry Lemonade, amazing!!! It has a sugar rim , so so so good.

Overpriced tourist trap fr my experience. It was almost humorous to compare what we got with what was on listed on the menu. Girlfriend got make your own pasta and we tried to guess what her second ingredient choice was because we couldnt find it, found a single artichoke heart and solved it. My Greek salad was just sad, I would be ashamed to send that out if I were a cook in the restraunt. We did go in an hour before closing though, so maybe they were low in prepped ingredients. Felt ripped off.

The food was decent, but nothing remarkable. We got individual size salad and pizza and it was enough for my wife and I. Unfortunately, the center of the pizza wasnt crispy and a little soggy. The salad was good but not great. All in all, it was a decent meal, but for the price I expected a bit more. I might return here again if someone wanted to go, but it wouldnt likely be my first choice. Ill have to try the other pizza places in the area before making a final decision on the place.

Terrible service and horrible food. They use the same bread for everything from Pizza to sandwiches. Reminds me of an over priced wannabe Italian Dennys. Small children screaming everywhere. The only decent thing was the beer, if they remember to bring ot to you. They also would not allow us to sit where we wanted. Dont go to this fake Italian tourist restaurant. And completely overpriced. I think their rent is so high that they cant afford quality ingredients.

Great pizza selection, and my kids loved the pasta they got. The spicy chicken and buffalo chicken pizza were phenomenal. The place was clean and service was fast. We walked in at 1730 and got a table for 12 with less than a five minute wait. They apparently do not take reservations. They give pizza dough to the kids to play with while you are waiting on food. And they have Mr. Pibb!

The food here is just simply put, AMAZING! Everything we had tasted better than the last thing that already tasted outstanding. Definitely get the pizza rolls as an appetizer, you will not be disappointed, and even though their drinks can be a bit pricey, they are well worth it. Its a chill environment with great tasting drinks and well poured drinks. Perfect for a casual date night.

We have eaten here quite a few times and my wife and I keep saying....this is the last time! The food is good and the prices fair, but the service is lacking. Its a nice location right on the corner with outdoor seating to check out the downtown vibe. Its too bad the service sucks about 80% of the time. PK

So I love the food here. And the Cadillac margarita is excellent. But the waiter just informed me that my food might arrive late, and might spend extra time under the warmer because the owners make all the staff stop and do a choreographed dance. I dont want a dance. My bill is 60$. I want warm fresh food.

Knew this place could get pretty busy since I live right across from it and can hear the parties late night. Pretty expensive for a college student, but the food was very good, and the service amazing. Not enough for me to come back without my parents, but a good place to eat if youre willing to splurge.

Service was very slow even though they didnt appear too busy. We had our two children with us and they seemed bothered we wanted to sit near the front instead of in the back where they had many other families with children. The pizza had a pool of oil when it arrived but it did taste pretty good.
