They have a good selection of beers and ciders, but it is hard to mess up something you serve in a bottle, or is poured from a bottle and serve. That is quite literally the only nice thing that could be said about the experience. The waitstaff is congenial, but extremely inattentive. We had a table outside, and did not receive menus for 15 minutes after we sat down. We ended up having to move inside to get drinks and food. We were told that they were understaffed, but there was more than enough staff to take care of the number of patrons. From there, it was another ten before we got the simple drinks we ordered. We didnt see the food we ordered for another 40 minutes, and the orders were incomplete and wrong. Sauces that were supposed to come with the food were not included, the fries were not salted or seasoned in any way, the order was wrong on one plate, and the pizza sauce on the flat bread tasted like ragu cut with an absurd amount of sugar. The majority of the meals were inedible. Bar food expectations were low as it was, but this was truly terrible. We waited for the check... and waited... and then waited some more. 40 minutes after we had last been able to flag down a waitress, I had to go and ask for the check by the kitchens. It was another 10 before I got my credit card back. The food was very overpriced for something of such abysmally low quality. It was a 2 hour experience that shouldnt have taken more than 50 minutes. Highly disappointed, and will not be returning.

The food was ok. It reminded me of pub food or snacks to have while you drink, not necessarily to just have a good beer with your lunch. I ordered the steak sandwich and fries for happy hour and had a Blue Note Blood on the Tracks. I live down the street from Blue Note in Woodland and their beer is absolutely amazing. I was very surprised they didnt have more selection in the local beers dept. They of course had a Woodland brewery which is awesome, but nothing from heretic, knee deep, beryessa brew, or Green river. I absolutely love the fact that this is, with the exception of BJs, the first all craft beer bar in Vacaville. BJs is also a micro brew that serves craft beer, but only its own. Brass Tap at least has Craft Beer from all over the place. If they would widen their selection to include a larger number of local breweries, I would like it a lot more. Im a beer lover from a small town, so local supporting local is very important to me.

The Brass Tap has come a long way since its shaky opening last year, there is definitely improvement! With rotating taps, a long happy hour, a diverse menu, and daily themes, this hidden sports bar offers something for everyone. On game day you can expect it to be pretty packed. The outdoor patio is dog friendly and they even have drink specials on Sunday if you bring a furry friend. The food and service is much faster and much more improved than a year ago. If you wouldve asked me a year ago, I wouldve rated this place 2 stars at best. But theyve heard your feedback and are ready/willing to serve. Give them a shot, you wont be disappointed.

If you are seeking a pub in Vacaville, you have arrived at your destination already. The brass tap has a very large selection of over 60 types of beer and numerous wine choices. To compliment everything, the menu has numerous salty foods from chicken wings, quesadillas, sliders and waffle fries. I found the chairs and tables more wobbly than I would have liked but maybe thats by design so you feel tipsy faster after just a few drinks. Service is good and this place gets very busy at times with pricing specials all week long. Kids can eat the food which is non-alcoholic.

After many good lunches, told my wife how good the fish n chips were, so we ordered for dinner. This is where it goes down hill. I asked that the fish n chip be extra crispy as I had ordered for my past lunches, I said it twice. Got the feeling the waitress didnt care . So we got the order, fish was not crispy, the fish came out of the batter. The fries were not crispy either, somewhat soggy, both meals. The waitress was very abrupt . Unlike when we have eaten there the staff has been friendly. I guess they dont like to do to go orders

First timer at The Brass Tap. Me and my brother took our father here for a Fathers day brunch. We went right at 10AM when they opened so we got a table right away but it got busy fast. Service was quick. They have wide selection of beers and they also had mimosas for brunch. I ordered the Guinness bacon waffles and my brother and father ordered the chicken and waffles which was a Fathers day special. The brunch menu was slightly limited but everything was good. Id love to come back for lunch to try more food and beer.

This place is fantastic, great selection of beer that changes regularly. Bartenders and servers are always friendly and know the beers (if they dont, theyll try a sample with you so they know for the next customer). The only time Ive had to wait even a little, it was a busy Fri night. Food is better than most sports bars. To top it off, you can almost guarantee youll see one of the owners having a conversation with customers. Theres a reason I come here regularly.

Visit often. Great food, good service every visit. Tonight I was pretty disappointed that the A/C was turned on so dang high at 11pm that I had to go to my car to get my jacket and also grabbed a beanie. Its rained tonight and it was warmer outside than in the restaurant! It was like they were trying to shoo out the remaining customers to close before 1am. I would have spent more money but because of that, took my business elsewhere where its appreciated.

In this strip mall is a franchise featuring views into a 24 hour fitness center. The food is kind of unpleasant e.g. fatty prime rib and cream cheese on a roll, waffle fries that are pre-vinegared. The beer is tasty but relatively expensive. Patrons and owners are rude and loud and take adjacent hotel parking. Their two, private and seemingly unnecessary wifi networks also seem to interfere with those of local businesses.

Sat at the bar, bartender Pat was very friendly and attentive, got the house Salad with Chicken was disappointed that is was like shredded/shaved chicken? Would of been nice if it was a half of breast, it was dry and just didnt look great or taste that good! Brian had 2 street tacos 1 chicken 1 shrimp which he said was just okay, liked the shrimp better, once again chicken was dry and almost looked like cut up lunch meat

Ton of beer on tap. Its brand new, so the place is amazingly clean. They have their tap menu on their website. Friendly staff. Brew food as well. Kind of secluded within the parking lot, which is probably a good thing. Good stuff. We needed one of these out here! UPDATE: As of 4/30/16 they have several decent sours on tap which is awesome! They have expanded their reach and have more breweries distributing to them.
