The latest restaurant in Vacaville focused on bringing locally grown food to the table. The staff were courteous and friendly but still experiencing some growing pains of starting up. The food, however, was delicious. We focused on the appetizers this time and ordered the chicken wings, lamb burger sliders, mussels, braised pork belly with Sichuan noodles and the chefs selections of cheese platter. The chicken wings were the stand out of the night with a sophisticated flavor profile. The braised pork belly was tender. The noodles were seasoned with just the right amount of the spiciness. The mussels came with a rich broth perfect for the bread. The lamb burger sliders were very good as well although my friend thought it would be even better if the buns were toasted. This is a restaurant with a lot of potential. I will definitely go back to try their full dinner menu.

Been here a few times since they opened and each time the food is amazing but the service gets worse. Our last visit they booked out reservation on the wrong day and we sat at the bar. For a group of 3 they compd one glass of wine, not one for each of us... Just one. Our server at the bar was friendly and the one terrible server weve had in the past wasnt working, so hopefully shes moved on to a job she enjoys more. Overall, for a small location they always seem overwhelmed on service even with enough staff on hand. We have waited 20 minutes for water with a reservation in the past. If you go, bring your patience and the food is worth it. Our last experience does have us questioning if we will be back. Having a restaurant like this in a chain-heavy town like Vacaville is a blessing, but the frustration of poor service makes it hard to support this gem.

My dinner was excellent so if I were just grading the food, I would be happy to give 5 Stars. Problem is that service was very slow -- we waited over an hour for our entree. Restaurant is too small for the amount of tables; felt extremely cramped and it was so noisy we couldnt begin to have a conversation. On top of that, the ventilation is non-existent - smell of burning garlic was so bad the staff had to open the front door (on an evening that it was 100 in Vacaville). Will not be returning. Sorry.

Excellent presentation of local. many of which are organic, well-prepared foods that are not found elsewhere. Our chicken and wild-caught coho salmon sandwiches were 5-star stand-alone amazements, and if you have any affection for "chips" treat yourself to her homemade Yukon Gold potato chips! This is gourmet food in an out-of-the-way location TRULY worth any effort necessary for a meal to remember, over and over again. I give it 10 stars!

This is one of those amazing surprises!! The service is top notch. Elegant and well trained. The food is farm to fork fresh with thoughtful gourmet ingrexients. The menu from the appetizers.to main courses to the desserts was well thought out and delicious. The decor was farmhouse with farm backdoors pleasantly arranged on the upper main wall....very cute, and comfortable. Reasonably priced. We are stuffed

Their was a dead rat on the floor it was awful and the food it wasnt cooked right i asked for a certain dish and they gave me a totally different one i told them that it wasnt the on i ordered but they said that they didnt care i even asked them if they if they could move us from tables but they said that it was normal and that we shouldnt be that annoying

Traveling through and looking for a local place to eat..we found this hidden gem in Vacaville!! Ava our waitress was wonderful!! She offered excellent recommendations and wine ...and dessert! We dont often think about returning but we most definitely will be back!

Love love love this little upscale bistro! Wish there were more like this place! To get a chef quality, inspired & prepared meal like you get here, youd have to drive an hour or more at least out of town. For sure make reservations!
