Despite the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. They must have a captive audience with the nearby hotels, because one look at the run down decor and sticky menu and I couldnt gulp down my watered down cocktail fast enough to get out the door. I couldnt possibly rate the food after loosing my appetite. Sadly, the surrounding wasteland has nothing to offer for dining unless you drive down to The District. Bluewater Grill was getting tired of seeing me, but is the best place by far for a single traveler to hang out if you want a little peaceful solitude. All in all, I would say the Irvine/Santa Ana area Ive seen has the past 4 days, with a few exceptions, has been one dumpy and run down place after another. I am so kicking myself for not staying at the Hilton.

I almost didnt eat here because of some negative reviews. Reluctantly, I came here last night. I had beef fajitas and they were great. I decided to come back tonight. I chose the Philly Cheesesteak and its awesome! The service is great. The food is hot and good. Its reasonably priced. Its clean. I really cant figure out where the bad reviews came from. I will definitely be back! Ask for Gil, hes awesome!!! BTW, Im from OKC so not a local.

Came on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. The music was decent and the drinks were strong. We got lucky and got a table for a big group. When it was almost time to close they got really pushy about leaving our drinks so they could clean up and kicked us out. Totally get that you have to shut down by 2 but it was a little rude especially if we were waiting for friends to get back from the bar/bathroom before leaving.

I came here with a friend, it had been 20+ years since I had been. We were looking for the nostalgic experience, which was not there. As it turns out the chain went bankrupt and so this location kept the logo, but the restaurant is nothing like it used to be. The menu is Mexican rather than Tex-Mex, the food was decent. I cannot think that I would return. They did not do anything that improves the restaurant.

Came in on a Saturday around noon, seemed like they werent quite ready for customers. Place looks a bit old/run down. Got seated fast, staff was friendly. Ordered the California burger with fries. The burger was excellent, cooked perfectly and tasted great. The fries were nothing exciting. Would definitely come back based on the California burger.

Service Excellent - Pleasant wait staff. Location very close to freeway. Easy access. Food absolutely great. We had combination Fajitas (Steak, Shrimp and Chicken). Platter was huge. Meat was well-seasoned and very tasty. Very well-cooked and seasoned Veggies. Beans, Rice, Sour Cream, Lettuce and wonderful Guacamole. Definitely worth a visit.

Not absolutely the worst of its genre, but approaching it. Very weak margarita. Spanish rice was nearly tasteless. Very limited menu. The burrito with "spicy chicken" was passable, but not at all spicy. The high point of the plate was actually the pickled jalapeño and carrots on the side. Sauces were good, tasted homemade.

Very good service. The tortilla soup is excellent. My husband ordered fish tacos and they were not spicy but very tasty. Kids ordered a spicy shrimp dish with steamed broccoli cooked to perfection and a burrito. It really is a worthy place to stop and dine. Im not from this area and I wish we had this restaurant in our town.

Great food, great service. The salsa is fantastic, btw. Party of 7, everybody had something different, and it was all good. But it was the service that impressed us. Prompt, friendly, and they really went out of our way to make everybody happy, including our kids. Would definitely go back and/or recommend it to anyone.

I love this place. They have delicious lunch specials that taste great and dont cost a pretty penny. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would give them 5 stars but they are currently undergoing renovations so the seating is limited right now but once it is done, I cant wait to go back!!

Been here a few times already. Always walked into the bar. Waitresses are great. Service great too. Food is delicious! Has music playing! Dont know why others would rate less than 4 stars. Stayed at local hotel nearby and just a walk away. Will come back if I am in town.

Stopped in on Saturday early evening, had chicken wings that were fantastic and shrimp street tacos, excellent. Sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and professional. Would recommend. They were getting ready for a band at 10pm, the place is big.

its not the busiest place in the world, but its clean and the waitstaff are on top of it. great tacos. after reading the rediculous negative reviews I had to leave a good one. good, confortable, decent place tio get food and a drink.

Friendly family local place. Waitress was nice enough, but made a couple small mistakes. Not sure if she was pre-occupied or just couldnt remember things very well. Other than that, the meal was good and the atmosphere was good.

I came to the area as a tourist. Came by this establishment and was quite surprised. The food was full of flavor and the have a wide selection. The service was great and food came out fast.

Menu prices are higher than advertised. Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs were advertised in Google as $21.49, but actual verbal price was $24.99, which wasnt even listed on the restaurant menu.

Great bar staff, wait staff and management. Friendly personnel and food and drinks are top notch. Fish tacos for lunch and buffalo wings anytime. Cold beer and wings are a great choice.

This restaurant has the best Mexican Food around this area. Service was fast, staff was friendly and courteous. I was very pleased with this one. Great!
