The WORST RED ROBIN in BAY AREA! Visited this place with a group of 3 friends and had such disgusting experience which is beyond words. My other friends had some worse experience as well from this Red Robin. The service is lousy and the store manager has a BAD attitude. Remember that its not our fault that you have to serve your customers in a timely and professional way. You signed up for this job and getting paid for it! These ppl serve wrong orders after 35 mins of wait and make it look that its your fault. We sat across the bar and see the waiters chatting and discussing tips they received from customers rather than doing their JOB. CMMON guys? A waiter took our order and walked away. We saw him chatting for next few mins with other employees. We finally asked someone else to take the order and it took total 35 mins to get the order with 1 order being delivered wrong. Such ridiculous service!! On top of that the food was cold and disgustingly low quality. It wasnt busy, yet the service was unacceptably low standards. They should realize that we are paying full price and investing time to get there. So start doing your JOBS bit seriously. Such a disgrace!. Should be ashamed of themselves!

This used to be one of my families favorite resteraunts, it still is but we dont like it as much as we used to due to the layout and decoations. This is a family resteraunt trying to be the hip date place and failing miserably! Go back to being a family resteraunt with the baloons and costumed bird, if half your resteraunt doesnt have anyone it because they arent 18 and up, thats alot of your profits going down the drain. Also the wait staff is pretty hit or miss. Weve gone on a weekend night and been seated and out the door within an hour and then gone during a week day for lunch and its literally taken 3 hours, you just never know. I will say this for San Mateo/Foster City Red Robins that this one is way better than the San Bruno one, its clean and the food is good. They dont take reservations which I think,is quite ridiculous because they arent at all organized with seating people.

I keep seeing bad review after bad review and they have earnt that AVOID THIS PLACE !! I have given this place a few gos but every time there service and food is terrible!! And why?? When you are paying nearly $14 for a burger are you kidding me?? And the worst service! Just rood like not bringing my daughter a glass of water or Quite Literally snatching my daughters drawing off her before placing the food down didnt get one second to move it before it happend I was so pist about that but my wife looked at me as if to say calm down its alright.. then they bring the wrong burger my wife ordered they exchanged it but she had to wait another 17 minutes and then they tried to sneak that burger which she didnt order onto the Bill!! One of the worst experiences ever way over priced terrible service and consistently like this so Avoid this place!

Nothing about the experience here was good. The servers were not attentive and slow. The food took a very long time to arrive (way past the "beer is empty" mark). The food was just bad: The burger was overcooked. Ordered medium (they dont even let you order medium rare), but it came well done and burnt to crisp. The vegetarian burger was very mushy and probably one of the worst veggie burgers Ive ever tried. The fruit salad looked like it sat out in the sun the whole day, definitely not fresh and not appealing. They were out of the beer we wanted. To top this off, there was a wait time for all this! Not intending to come back.

Service is horrible. We decided to give this place a second chance, but service has not improved. Some workers are very immature and just sit at the bar staring at the television. They complain about taking drinks to customers and laugh aongst themselves. It took someone 5 minutes to greet us. This was at 2:00 p.m. and the restaurant was not very busy. We only saw about 5 customers. No one checked to see if we needed anything and when they did it took them 10 minutes to deliver fries. Food is good, but service needs extreme improvement. Theres a lady here that seems to be doing everyones job and holding down the fort.

Food was good. Server was clearly cut for the night, and wanted to leave, but we were seated. We went in about 830, shouldnt have been a problem. Server was slow, but once he finally came for our order, food came out fast. Their food is fine. Definitely not gourmet, but decent. The new branding for Red Robin isnt as attractive as the old. This location also hadnt completed the remodel even though they have reopened...needs to be finished. If you dont have high expectations, this place is good...just like all Red Robins.

Ordered the Big Mac and Cheese Tavern Burger. Burger patty was juicy. Didnt particularly like the sauce in the burger. Sesame seed bread was a little hard (felt like it has been left standing for too long). Steak fries were the worst; they were served cold and hard. Not sure if it is because I visited on a weekday at 4pm. Didnt try the beer. They have this cool device where you can play games at the table and pay via credit card from your table too.

Just delivered their new chairs for their grand re-opening...smelled good, hungry truck drivers so we decided to sit n eat....first time ever eatin at a red robin...it was delicious..the place is gettin packed..had the new burger on pretzel bread bun...waiter recommended and trucker approved! Hubby had the burger with the egg on it, he loved it..the bacon aioli was awesome!!! Headed on back down the road with a full belly and smiles!

This is not really a place I go. They do cook great burgers, but it is a sit down restaurrant, and takes a long time to order and get the burger. The waiters found it hard to understand what we all wanted and got a few wrong. It might be worth it if you are really into burgers and very particular, but when I want a burger, usually the Foster City Carls Junior is good for me, quicker, easier and cheaper.

I dont go here often, but when I do its always a mediocre experience. I usually have to wait for a seat, the wait staff is not very fast. The food is usually pretty good though which is good. I always have to wait for refills on drinks and theyre pretty stingy with bringing you extra fries even though theyre supposed to be "bottomless."

I love this restaurant and when I can get it, I do. This was my first time at this location and I was disappointed. The restaurant was DIRTY!! The floor around our table couldnt be walked around without stepping on food. The food came out at a warm temperature, with the kids pasta being the warmest. Definitely not my favorite visit.

Its a typical RR, with the same quality food you would expect from any other of the franchises locations. What really stood out to me was the number of large hi-def TVs in the dining area, playing sports people watch. It was clean, service was fast even when they were obviously understaffed, although it was a Wednesday night.
