China Bee has some Taiwanese specialties that I absolutely LOVE. I couldnt get enough of the meatball soup with glass noodles - even though the serving has four large, juicy meatballs! For those looking to try stinky tofu, this is a great place to start. Their deep-fried stinky tofu has a delicate flavor and fragrance that shouldnt offend the faint-of-heart (or pallette). Its topped with a tasty house-made pickled cabbage and sauce. I also recommend their stir-fried green beans, topped with a sprinkling of ground pork. Deliciously savory with a fresh crunch, so good! Plan for a dicey parking situation - you may need to park several blocks away, and youll need to bring change for some of San Mateos elderly meters. Dont be intimidated, there are garages nearby! Bring a warm layer for evenings that may cool off quickly.

This has to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. This is saying a lot, because I tend to not like Chinese food. If you are here, there are a few dishes that you need to try. 1st would be anything that has noodles in it. I like the Ja Jiang Mein, which is like an Asian styled spaghetti. The other thing that they are known for is the Stinky Tofu. Now, Im not a fan of the bitter after flavor, but my friends that love Stinky Tofu say this is the closest in the bay area that they can get to be like in Asia.

Our favorite Chinese restaurant. Everything is good! Some of my favorites include the salt & pepper chicken, mushu chow mein, dan-dan noodles, string beans and ground pork, and scallion pancakes. The waitstaff are all really nice, and theres easy parking nearby. Just be warned -- people order stinky tofu here as well!

One of the best Taiwanese/Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. Their beef noodle soup and rice dishes is what puts them over the top. Oh yeah, if you havent yet - give their stinky tofu a try. If you dont like the smell, then... probably dont go since the restaurant is filled with the smell aha.

他们的川味牛肉面是正宗的康师傅牛肉面味道!面有点儿硬其分量很足每次都吃不完但是一定把汤汁喝干净,实在太好吃了!

The food here is generally good. I have ordered noodle soups and fried rice, and other side dishes. Id recommend most of them except the chow mein, which tend to be a bit oily and saltier. Other than that, food is great, and service is courteous and quick.

A hole in the wall type of place offering some very tasty food originated from Wuhan region. It is more a take out place than a sit down restaurant. Their braised duck parts are supposedly very authentic. Noddles are my daughters favorite.
