Back in the day this place was my favorite bar in SLO. it was small, only served beer, had a sweet patio, good rock and reggae bands, and a really cool, non fancy crowd. then they remodeled it. its a much different, much fancier place these days. I dont blame them. more people more money, but it definitely used to be better. The pint nights are still awesome though.

My go to bar downtown San Luis Obispo. They have Pint Night on Tuesdays, good beer for a fair price. Seating in the back is limited, so if you plan on hanging out back there I suggest getting there before 10:30 pm. After 10:30 pm the outdoor area can fill up quickly. The staff is very friendly, every time I go in I am greeting with smiles and handshakes.

My personal favorite bar in SLO. Has a great atmosphere with live music most of the time. Normally pretty crowded, but its not too hard to find seating if you wait a few minutes. Cover is pretty cheap on nights that they charge, which is Fridays and Saturdays.

Its snug, but usually crowded with cool people. The bartenders are excellent, attentive, and capable. A good place for a night on the town with the guys to hopefully catch up with a few cute girls!
