Popular Bar type food with beer/drinks. Except for already prepped salads, not much in the way of complete meals. Food can be consistent, such as the Pork Sandwich...which for some reason is always over-spiced & greasy. Food is like upscale "fast food", but commands higher prices. To have a more well balance meal, you need to order a 1/2 or whole salad, with a protein. Much of the eats are more like Happy Hour type stuff, but is more pricey. You will likely want a few beers to go with the food. They do not make their own beer, but do have a good assortment. The bar area is pleasant if that is what you want. It is nicer in some ways to the dinning area & does have a pleasant outdoor area. It is narrow, but boasts a fire display. View of Shell Beach Rd. & the 101. One person bathroom, is a problem if you imbibe. If you are focused on talking over a snack & drink, think again...it is noisy....especially when there is a game on TV (think Sports Bar). More for younger tourists or the younger crowd who do enjoy it. It is the only "free-standing" bar within a mile or two. The next bars on the North end of Shell are in the hotels, which are not cheap, but can have Happy Hours & nice Ocean views. There are bars & wine tasting shops in downtown Pismo. I

Nice selection of beers and food was good. I tried the street tacos and OG Mac n Cheese. Both tasted good and good size portions. I would have opted to leave the roasted ratatouille off the top of the mac n cheese. The strangest part of our experience was how the bar area just filled with employees after they got off from working the dining area. They kept walking behind the bar with their beer and then going back and sitting on the patron side of the bar. Maybe thats just the atmosphere/culture there, but it seemed a little strange.

Excellent!! Beer! food! wine! cocktails! customer service! and the beautiful Chelsea P..Hands down the most tastiest fries. wings are a must have..supersized sandwiches are absolutely delicious. everything was perfect. anyone that gives this place a negative review has issues and if the wait is long you know its got to be good. a tad pricey and thats expected at any vacation hot spot and you definitely get what you pay for. seemed very family friendly too. If you get Sean or Chelsea please tip at least 20%

Food was Ok and service was Ok. Server was very nice but took a long time, every time, to get a water refills. Beer refills were very quick though. They brought 3 people at our table their food and didnt even say whether the 4th was on the way. Waited at least 8 minutes for the 4th plate. Bathroom was covered with toilet paper and seat covers. It wasnt very busy and the young servers had plenty of time to chat between themselves. Probably wouldnt return.

This place is so cute. What a wonderful concept, we were greeted by such friendly smiles and the bartender truly knew her stuff. Not the best bloody Mary (comes out of a can) but if you are looking for off the beaten path brews this is the place to come. If I lived in the area I would be back every week for a new beer and app. Great location, wonderful staff

Today is our second visit here in 2 weeks and we just love the servers, the atmosphere, the food, and the brews! Our server today is Shauna, a very pleasant worker, obviously happy in her role here. Its very family friendly here with a dog-friendly in their outdoor bar area, plenty of TVs for sports fans, and generally warm and cozy.

I really want to like this place but it just keeps failing to impress me. The service has been so-so both times we went and I wish the menu was a little deeper. I just cant really find a reason to come back. The building itself is really nice, I think they just need to improve the menu and level of service.

Menu was innovative, amazing, and affordable. We all enjoyed our meals, and felt it was well worth the money. Our waiter, Tyler, was attentive and knowledgable both about the food and the beer profiles. Best meal Ive had in a long time. If this place hasnt been on tv yet, it should be!

Busy Saturday night when we visited. Had to wait for a table which was fine by us but had to wait a long time to get served a drink at the bar. Starters we had were lovely but my burger was so greasy I couldnt finish it. Our waitress was very pleasant and looked after us well.

Fantastic food! It was very busy, but we had called ahead and were seated in about 5 minutes. The waitress was nice and more than competent. They had crayons and paper for the kids. My burger was fantastic and the fries are so so great. Im really excited to eat there again.

Weve stopped at Shell Beach Brew House 3 times in the last few months while heading south on the coast. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, the service is great. The beer is very good also. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Shell Beach area.

this is a great place for a quick bite and some cocktails. Thats a great bar food great service. If youre looking for a good dinner house this really isnt it but for a nice appetizer some basic food enjoy some drinks with some friends this place will do it

Had the "Elvis Lives" burger and it was very delicious. Peanut butter on a burger tastes a lot better than you think. Its a little pricey but no more than an average brew house. The service couldve been more attentive but overall not a bad experience.

Good bar and sports game watching atmosphere. The food was good but felt a bit rushed by the staff, however that is common of most bar like atmospheres. Only been here once, but Im guessing there are a lot of good items on the menu.

If you are looking for fried food this is the place to go, but the burger was just alright and the food was marginal at best. If you have limited time in the Pismo area I would skip this place. The service was not very good either.

Excellent burgers and big (half pound) that come with fries or other selections. Great beers on tap. Plenty of large screens and seating space to watch a game in the restaurant or in the bar. Pricey appetizers but very tasty.

Everything on the menu here is great! The appetizers are god like, and the side dishes are all great as well. I personal favorite is the Elvis Lives Burger, but it definitely isnt for everyone. Make sure to try the pretzels!

Service was great. But loud foul mouthed patrons who knew the bartender were disgusting. Guess I am just old, but using the "f" word every other sentence shows a lack of intelligence and manners. Especially in public.

Their black bean pattie substitute is outstanding! Can swap it with any burger there. Very nice seating inside and on the outside theres heaters too. Desserts are quite phenomenal. Wont be my last time there haha
