Been living in this area for some time before the establishment wasnt built. Had my brother start his career (Chef) in the industry (restaurant) there. Ive always loved every aspect of the place. The past changes were great addition (TVs and renovation). Setting: Home like atmosphere but does get that exciting feeling when sports are on the TV. Well kept restrooms. The cleaning regiment of the staff has given the upkeep above the normal for a pizza joint. Food: By the slice is great. Sometimes orders that we canceled or were incorrect is still a bonus as theyd sell slices of the specials. Standard pizza is always cooked fresh with shipped overnight fresh veggies and strictly (correctly, not like other "careless" restaurants) stored ingredients. Toppings are great because they are good salad items you would normally eat, also offered at the salad bar. Appetizers have evolved there to meet that need of something up to date, like the chicken wings. Thin slice is the bomb but I remember know staff dont like making it. Haha, its extra work. Tap and bottled beer with good selection. Price: At reasonable price with the ingredients used. Not crazy oiled down dough (Dominoes is notorious for that, but not even in the same class as Pizza California) that can be cooked well. Medium $$. Downside: things can get hectic during multi-tasking moments. Especially when they are understaffed. I do know they would cater prep for a large order while servicing patrons as well as cook for deliveries. The wait for whole pizzas can be a little longer than youd wish Id be. Depends on staff working as well, Ive observed on person forgetting to check up on a pizza left in the oven and had to redo the whole thing for the guest. He was already impatient. Overall this is still a must go to for any type of person needing food or wanting to enjoy whole pizzas with a group while watch a game or converse with each other.

Pizza Cali is damn good and I live dangerously close to this place. I made my way over twice in the past month and have been SO satisfied with the food I ordered! The must orders: Bacon cheddar breadsticks ($9.25 for large) - The name says it all. Gooey cheese topped with bacon bits on thick, warm, and chewy bread (they use the same dough for their pizza) Spicy buffalo wings ($11.25 for 12 pieces) - I hear its just the frozen Tyson wings from Costco which explains why it tastes almost exactly like them but better! Whats their secret?! This is robbery but yet it still doesnt stop me from ordering it. Salad ($8.25 for large) - BEST salad bar ever. Plenty of toppings (veggies + meat) available and a wide variety of dressings to choose from. "The Grizzly" ($14.40 for small) - Order this without cheese and add jalapenos. I KNOW!! What kinda blasphemy am I suggesting?? But I promise you wont miss the cheese and its still so good! Overall, this is an excellent place to kick it if you want to grab a beer or catch some sports games on their TVs. They also offer outdoor seating and beer flights! My only gripe is that the items are a lil pricey and a few items can add up quickly!

This place is the spot. From the super fresh ingredients, to the awesome set up: large family style in the front, small family or group of friends setting in the back and the wonderful patio area to enjoy the summer california sun (outdoor seating can be so hard to come by these days!) Though the prices will scare you if you are used to little ceasars, you get what you pay for, and anyone who appreciates quality and a hearty slice of pizza that can, at times, require utensils, you will find something you like here.

Not to be confused with California Pizza Kitchen! Pizza California was my favorite pizza place when I was living in San Jose. I got delivery most of the time, but the times I did go in were always pleasant. They have a decent beer selection if you dine in. My favorite thing to get was the bruschetta chicken. Everything tasted so fresh and so flavorful. Highly recommend!

Love the pizza here. Especially the pepperoni. Delicious delicious delicious. The crust is fluffy and there is a good amount of cheese. Sauce is light and tasty. But the best is the pepperoni. I swear this is like one of the best pepperonis Ive had. The place is a hole in the wall and seating is limited. If youre going here youre going for the pizza and nothing else.

This place is amazing! Great beer selection and phenomenal pizza! No matter what ecerytime I come here I am impressed. Great service and they take care of their customers, especially if you visit regularly. I come here for giants, warriors, sharks games and always can find a good seat for the game. There isnt a person I wouldnt advise to come here!

This is the best place to have great tasting pizza. The employees are very pleasant and the cashier is very friendly and pretty. Taste and great service! And the recycle/green products says much about the owner...that cares, and the decor- pics pointing out our California beauty also says a lot about the owner. Keep up the great work pizza Cali!

I forgot about this spot. Im making it a point to only cone here when Im buying the pizza. Any place that sells pizza by the slice has to be sampled, and it was great! Nice set up too. Only down side is the customers vibe eachother, but thats not the pizza places fault. I still give them five stars! :)

24$ for a 12" pizza that was first served after we asked for it. The table we sat on was still dirty and no one even tried to clean it. The taste of the pizza was definitely not worth the price. We went to this restaurant with three people and no one of us left satisfied at the end.

The thin crust, specialty pizzas are very good and creative, but not worth the price. The thick crust classics are disappointing in that they are no better than Round Table. One is lead to believe and pay for gourmet stylings; this is not the case.

My favorite pizza spot. I have been here countless of times and always leave extremely satisfied and happy to be bringing some pizza home for the next day. Their pizza is simply out of this world, best dough I have ever had.

Good pizza and good happy hour. They have half priced beer from 4-6. Their beer selection is very good too with a lot of craft beers on tap. Their pizza is good too and you can buy it by the slice. They also have a salad bar.

We got the $30 gift card and after 30 min. the cashier scrambled with the machine, and she told us : Sorry, the server down. You cant use the card. There werent any real manager helped her solved the problem.

Great local spot for pizza and beer. Pizza is of the thicker crust sour dough variety, and there are lots of toppings options. The beer selection is decent and has a lot of the medium/big name crowd pleasers

Good thick crust pizza. Salad bar is also good. I wish they had a thin crust version of their pizza. A bit on the expensive side. Restaurant is comfortable and clean. Outdoor seating is great.
